Sebastian wasn’t sure what to make of Clair’s reaction to her defeat, which threw off his own feelings of accomplishment. They’d won, rather easily too wall things considered. Who knew such beastly legends could be easily fell by simple things like ice and rocks. He flinched a bit at the hard hand shake, eyeing her with a bit of a dubious frown of his own before taking his winnings from her.
"Ah… thank you." Sebastian murmured, eyeing the last of the badges for the region. Wow… he’d done it. He’d completed the region which meant really… the only thing left was to challenge the Elite Four. He was hardly ready for that of course but it was… odd to think that he was basically only one step away from completing his full journey. It was very… surreal. How long ago had he started out? He couldn’t even really recall at this point but well… it was almost over now.

Tucking everything away, he went back through the maze of places to return to the entrance and head to the pokemon center, dropping off his team to be healed up. He took a seat as he waited, pondering his next course of action. He supposed it was as good a time as ever to contact his family and let them know how he was doing… it’d been a while since he’d done that and all. His brother would certainly want to know his accomplishments. That was a good idea…

The ride from the dark cave to blackthorn city actually wasn't as bad as Terrence originally thought it was going to be. The waters were calm, and they weren't really attacked by any wild sea pokemon either. He had to wonder if it was because Lapras, and the fact that they didn't want to approach such a large pokemon. Seriously this lapras looked rather majestic as it swam, he had to wonder if it liked carrying people across the ocean. Not that Terrence would question that, after all he was sort of getting a free ride out of this. So once they arrived and he got off her turned towards Lapras and thanked it for its help.

He waved goodbye as Lapras went on it's way, but he was sure they'd meet again considering he'd have to ride it back to the dark cave again. With that done, he turned and made his way towards the city. It was an odd place, and to his surprise was honestly filled with a lot of dragon type pokemon. He didn't know much about this place, but there certainly were not a shortage of dragon pokemon. He was tempted to take a look at a few, but again he had a reason he was here. He needed to find the egg! So with that in mind he did his best to ignore the dragons that were around and search for the egg instead.

Terrence didn't know how to feel right now. After getting here and looking around he found another gym, but to say the least this gym was even stronger than the ice-type gym he saw earlier. It was to the point he really shouldn't be surprised, but still how the heck do you get your pokemon to level 70?! Just getting his pokemon to level 20 was hard enough, but how long did it take for them to get to level 70? The thought honestly made him want to pass out, it must have taken years! Terrence didn't even know if he could reach those levels in his lifetime, though he certainly hoped he could. He ran a hand through his hair, mouth open as he continued to stare at it.

Realizing that he was staring, Terrence decided to shut his mouth and look away from the gym. Some people were giving him questionable looks, so that meant that it was time to move on. Whether or not he could accept that people out there had pokemon as high as level 70 or not, that didn't matter right now. He just needed to focus on the now and not worry so much about the future. He could worry about that later, after all he had plenty of time to think it over. He sighed, rubbing a hand behind his back as he continued to check out the other areas. Terrence let out a sigh of relief when he saw the egg laying on the side of the building. What it was even doing here, he didn't know. However, this at least saved him the trouble of having to go to the other side of the town to search for the egg. With that, he scooped it up and put it away before walking back towards the area he had arrived in. He then called Lapras back, before getting on and heading back towards the sea. Terrence just had one more egg location to go to in this region before he could head to another one. A good thing was that he was already more then halfway done, so there was that. He sighed, before Lapras took them back towards the dark cave.

Lafayette was caught off guard by the statues of dragons that littered the city as they touched down. He’d almost mistaken them for actual pokemon but that wasn’t the case; which was a relief he didn’t want Dova going at it with creatures on par with herself. He gave her a gentle pat on the side of the face as he walked having handed the incense back to Noah to use. This place was farther from water (at least he thought so) so there was probably a good chance ground types would be lingering around for him to battle. Lafayette had a few more pokeballs in his possession to catch any new faces that appeared. He’d need to consider what all he’d caught so far once he had the chance. Soon enough, as Cheri left to check, pokemon began to pop up to challenge Noah who was ready and waiting.

It was crazy how far pokemon would apparently come for this incense nonsense. He spotted a Sandile pop up from the ground and scurry towards them in response to the smell and just as quickly it was put down by an aqua tail from Noah. He was certain Sandile were native primarily to Unova, but then again people brought different pokemon from different places and basically threw off the entire balance of a place in doing so. He threw the pokeball to capture the reptile all the same, retrieving it just as Noah knocked out yet another strange pokemon appeared. Out of thin air.

Wait what? Lafayette frowned and focused on the strange looking golem that had appeared only to collapse to the ground once it’d been defeated. He reached a hand out to try and poke at it, noting that it seemed to be solid. Weird… oh well. There were some weird a** ground types that was for sure. Lafayette threw a pokeball at the flat creature that Noah had promptly stomped into oblivion, watching as it was sucked into the ball before it disappeared after the ding. Lafayette gave a stretch of his arm at this point, rolling a shoulder, and trying to keep from being stiff. That was one of the downsides of just quickly navigating from one place to another with quick flying tactics; you didn’t move a lot and it made you ache. He glanced over as Noah put the nail in the coffin of a strange looking… donkey thing? What was even going on anymore at this point?

If the donkey was questionable, then the shifting sands that came crawling in his direction were odd too. In fact, at first, he didn’t think any of it until he realized it seemed to be taking the form of a sand castle, a gaping hole in the middle of it as it lingered just a little way away from where the incense was. Was that… a pokemon? What was something like that doing here? It looked like it belonged on a beach or something which he was certain, was lacking in this place. Noah was caught off guard as well, both staring at the thing before it made an odd bellowing noise which prompted the Dewott to attack. It was a simple take down and just for safe measure, Lafayette threw a pokeball at the creature to capture it. Once he was certain the thing was locked away, he looked to Noah who seemed just a chilled. Sand castles … shouldn’t be alive.
Cheri reappeared as the pair stared at one another, egg in paw and looking curious about their disturbed expressions. Whatever; Lafayette took the egg from her and shoved it away, snatching un the incense and giving it a second uncertain look before calling out Dova. Well the farther they got away, the better. It was on to another region at this point and well... the sooner the better.

Huey was yawning by the time he arrived in Blackthorn, and he struggled to keep his eyes open even as Staraptor touched down and, gently, nudged him to get off. He obeyed, though with sluggish movements, and looked around slowly to find that they had managed to land right next to the Pokémon Center, to his great relief. OOB: Huey sat himself down onto the ground, and used the side of the building as a support, and allowed himself to get comfortable while waiting for Staraptor to finish her meal. Unfortunately, sitting on the ground proved to be too comfortable, and soon the young boy had nodded off, only to be awoken a few minutes later by the avian-esque pokemon herself. He mumbled unintelligibly as he stood to his feet, though in his mix of words was a 'thank you', grabbed the two bowls and then headed back inside of the Center. From there it was off to the cafeteria, where food was obtained for his entire team and himself, and afterwards it was, finally, time to head off to sleep. He would bathe in the morning.
