"Seriously, you are no fun." he commented before sighing. "I couldn't care less about your influence over her. Even if she were to stop caring for me, I would continue to use her, until I am content. Even if it meant using force." he teased as he walked over to Vanity and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Though, maybe I should start with you. Making you mine would be just as easy." Despair then moved his hand gently up to her cheek, "You're nothing like Astral. You're inexperienced and pure. To have you become my own personal toy, would give me so much pleasure." Despair would state. "Saying such a young girl's face brimming with unbridled pleasure and ecstasy.  Vanity Eva's Youth."I would like to, pretty much." For a brief moment, her heart skipped a beat. Her eyes widened as she heard and observe Despair speaking about taking her. The images on her "future" would strike her mind again. This time picturing herself instead of Astral. "You can't... you wouldn't..."She stated, fighting her best not to stammer. And mostly to convince herself that Despair wouldn't try such thing. Because the moment she believed it, her strength and self confidence would break. "You already have your toy with that loony woman, leave me out of your depraved plays..."She answered back. A strong voice and body projection towards the demon. Yet, there was something else. Was it, fear? Despair's dreadful presence, murderous Aura, and killing intent weren't enough to strike fear into Vanity yet the idea of belonging to this demon's fantasies somehow did. Said fear was constantly murdered within her mind, yet with every word of Despair, and every time their eyes met it was revived once again. A breach trough her tough look? None the less, Vanity kept showing a strong posture and frown against the demon, trying to hide her fear the best she could. "Geez there you were..."A rather familiar voice stroke the demon from behind his back. Followed by one of the many to come pokes against her back. "I finally get to find you and you toss me away like you don't even know me? Talk about a heart breaker."Behind the demon there was none other than Zoey, aparently she couldn't find any clothes of hers so she took some of Despair's spare clothes he brought for Atticus, a black t-shirt and some jeans. "Let me guess... you are being messy with another girl?"Of course, there was something off with her, after all she was so casual with Despair despite the fact that he was the one to end her life. it was almost as if she either didn't mind it, or didn't remember it, rather seeing Despair as someone close. "I may had pulled the strings with Shira a little too much this time..."Said Zoey as she sighed. "I think she'll most likely kill me once she figures out, hahahaha"Replied the pink haired girl. Unintentionally giving Vanity some mental room to fight off her fear.

Of the three women there, Vanity was the most rebellious and strong-willed, should have take control over her and make her into a personal slave, he would become even more of a threat, though he would not really seem interested in such things, but it was indeed something to keep in mind. Letting go of her, Despair smiled, "Yes, you're correct. Astral is plenty enough for me, for the moment that is." Once it seemed like he was done playing around with Vanity, a familiar voice would speak up. Then there would come a poke to his back. Despair didn't even have to turn around as the voice and aura given off was a dead giveaway: Zoey. "Being messy? No, but the thought has crossed my mind. Enough of that, however, why are you here, little one?" Despair asked as he turned to face the girl. "Shouldn't you be somewhere training or something?" ═ ════ ══ ═══ ══ ═══ ══ ════ ══ ═══ ══════

 Zoey Aeternia Despair's shadow."Well I can't say I undertand fully, but we are bound to stick around for a while, right?" Humiliated, yet saved by the demon's compasion, Vanity said nothing and merely frowned at him once he set her free. About to reply, she heard Zoey's call on the demon. Should Vanity dare to threat or talk back at Despair, she might run the risk that the demon changed his mind. Which in truth, she did not wished to happen. Just as soon as Despair set his attention towards the girl, by speaking to her, Vanity smiled, noticing she wasn't the center of attention anymore. And with a quick step, she faded away from their presence. Zoey on the other hand chuckled, hearing Despair's first response. "Well I would be bothered if you hadn't. Someone must have kidnaped you and brainwashed your skull if you had done otherwise"Stated Zoey with a small grin. "As for your questions, isn't it obvious? I can't simply spar with the kids. I need someone stronger... Someone I could rely on that he won't be gentle with me. Someone who'll be fair. Last time I couldn't protect Shira. I won't make the same mistake twice. Despair..."The pink haired girl would suddenly bow before him. "Please... lend me your power... make me stronger so I can protect the one I love..."Apparently Zoey held Atticus memories at the moment, just as Eva told Despair when they started the experiment. While having them, she was also aware of her weakness compared to the original Atticus.

Was this why she felt the need to be so relaxed around him? Did having Atticus' memories somehow affect her own personality? Despair didn't think too hard on the subject as Zoey bowed before him, pleading for him to help make her stronger. "Honestly, I am not the one to take on a student or train someone. It is not in my nature." he told her. "Why should I help you get stronger? What is in it for me?" Name me your price, and I'll fulfill it no matter the cost."Zoey said as she stared directly into the demon's eyes. A fierce look within her blue irises meaning she meant business. "Whatever it takes I'll do it. You name your price..."Said the pink haired girl as she summoned a water vortex in her hand. Which transformed into Atticus's blade. As if to make a knight's vow.

Right now, he is only using Zoey's or rather Atticus' memories of Shira and his strong will to protect her, for amusement as he toyed with Zoey. "Look kid, your determination is admirable and the look in your eyes tells me that you are ready to risk anything in order to get stronger, but I'm not going to train you." he told her bluntly. "I have no reason to. There is nothing that I want from you. There is nothing that you can give me. I have everything I need." "What do you mean she's in danger. The machinist are over! There's no way Mirai could have lost to the likes of them. I saw Charlotte too. You honestly think I'm going to believe that they all failed to bring them down? besides you are still alive. "The pink haired girl frowned, holding the hilt of the blade. Despair continued teasing her pride as a warrior, a pride that was nerver hers, but she believed so deeply. That her anger was genuine. "And here I dared to call you my brother... I can't believe it..."Zoey would wield her blade into the air before placing it over her shoulder, opening a portal which lead back to the human world. "I'm sorry Despair, I believe I've grown softer with time. I could only assume that. If I were really your brother I would have known you would refuse from the start. You aren't that type of person. I suppose I'll seek the strength I need somewhere else... A dead knight is of no use to Shira. I can't simply jump into her aid on my current condition. If she manages to stay alive, I would only be a distraction and the reason of her demise. All I can do is have faith in her..."

Honestly, everything had been going quite well until Zoey and her strange ramblings began. Watching as she created a portal to the human world, Despair had finally had enough of her and so, with the flick of his wrist, he would cause strange lights to appear before the portal and seconds later it would be forcefully closed. "It will be troublesome if you left this place, little girl." he added before approaching her. "You refer to me as brother and even call me by my name, as if we are close. We are not. You are not my brother, you are not Atticus. You're just a little girl who has an identity problem." he explained to her, not really caring if she believed him or not. Zoey Aeternia Despair's shadow."Well I can't say I understand fully, but we are bound to stick around for a while, right?" Zoey stared at her portal, observing the light force shutting it down. Her eyes would coldly turn over to Despair, despite her facial expression appeared to be calmed, and even smiling, yet her eyes would not lie. "What are you doing Despair? Didn't thought you would be the kind to miss me that badly."Zoey said, even chuckled. Observing the demon's movements. But that smile was put onto a pause for a brief instant, when Despair confronted her with the truth, said truth bounced off the girl's logic. Enough to make the pink haired girl laugh. "Really now? Sure I made you babysit that woman under our deal's agreement. But that shouldn't be enough for you to kick me out of our relationship. Of course, there's also your pride showing up. How would the merciless demon share his pride with a weaker being. Heheh..."Wielding her sword after Despair menaced her. A common sense would be to flee, just like Vanity did, but Zoey was different now. She was stubborn. Even looked forward to face the demon. "My my, you really grew softer. You training me after you stated you wouldn't? C'mon Admit it. Deep within, you love me"She teased with a wink before rising her blade with both hands, increasing her wavelength, bursting out of Zoey's usual limits. But still, not close enough to resemble's Atticus's full strength. Right now, she had the power of the wounded Atticus. Despite that, there she was, looking over confident, and cocky. Yet Despair could new better. After all her eyes never lied. She was ready to face him. Examining the demon behind that cocky smile. Preparing herself for battle.

Appearing before the girl, Despair placed his right hand around her neck and easily threw her towards the side of the building. Though it wouldn't damage the girl, it would show her that Despair had grown tired of her. "I've already stated that you will not leave this place. You aren't free to leave until you've given Atticus back his memories." Despair told her before walking over towards her. "Try to leave again and I will see to it that you won't ever attempt it again." ═ ════ ══ ═══ ══ ═══ ══ ════ ══ ═══ ══════

With Despair engaging once again against Zoey, the pink haired girl would smirk deviously while she cleaned a single string of blood which fell from her lower lip. "I don't know. Seem's to me like you are running straight into my trap. Didn't you told me you wouldn't fight me?"Zoey sighed after Despair once again spoke about this senseless discussion about not being herself and returning her memories to herself. "I told you I'm alright. You on the other hand should take on a psychologist or something. I really don't understand you Despair, but it's kinda pointless to give me my own memories. They were never gone to begin with."Stated Zoey with a little bit of sarcasm. She was in trouble and she knew it. But if trouble would lead her to be stronger or die trying, then so be it. "C'mon Despair, we don't have to do this. Besides, do you honestly think I would try something as stupid? Here let me fetch you something to trink"Said zoey while opening another portal, which targeted a kitchen. Shira's actually. "Woops... oh well a kitchen is a kitchen"Said Zoey as she tried to head straight in at full speed.
