The Demon Arion Do not be fooled by my calm demeanor
With the journal in hand, Bowen walked back down the hall to the room Kamen was staying, standing in front of the door to the room, Bowen looked down at the journal, was this really his place to interfere, no, no it was not. This was something that Arion, should do, but Bowen knew the male far too well, Arion would keep making himself look like a villain. So on behalf of everyone in the castle, Bowen would be helping out in keeping the masters image clear, well as clear as it could possibly be. Bowen knocked on the door to Kamens room.

••KamenΩKurr••Don't judge a Black Ice by it's cover... Kamen was relaxing, his eyes closed when he heard the knock. Opening his eyes he sat up and blinked then getting out of the tub he put a towel around himself. "Just a second" he said. when he was sure he was covered he walked out of the bathroom and to the door and gently opened it, he blinked when he noticed Bowen. "Oh ugh...Bowen right?" he said knowing full well that was the butlers name, he was just curious what the man wanted. ...I'm a lover not a fighter.

Bowen nodded and gave him a small bow, "Forgive me if I am being rude, but I noticed the way you looked at Arion when he told you what had happened. And I wanted to give you this" he said, holding out the journal to Kamen "It will give you a little of an idea what Arion truly is like" he said, aware that he was speaking of Arion, not as his master, but his equal.

"That is because it is no ordinary book. The previous master of this castle, feared that he would one day suffer alzheimers, so he wrote everything down. This is one of the many journals he kept." he said looking down at the book "I have marked where Arion and I first appeared. If you wish to read more, merely let me know and I will gladly take you to the library" he stated

Bowen looked down at Kamen "Arion, will only tell you what he thinks is right, this is will tell you the truth of what and who he is. We never knew it, but the previous master kept a close eye on us. I think it is more than okay for you to read that" he said and gave Kamen one more bow "Rest well young sire, I shall take my leave" he said and turned around to leave.

••KamenΩKurr••Don't judge a Black Ice by it's cover... Bowen was gone before Kamen could say much more. He blinked and looked at the book, finally after some thought he closed and locked the door and then walked to the bathroom, he changed into pants to sleep in, empty's the tub then headed slowly for the bed. After getting back in he took a big breath then opened the book to where Bowen had marked it and he began to read. ...I'm a lover not a fighter.

The Demon Arion Do not be fooled by my calm demeanor
The book showed its age, the leather bound cover was worn, and slightly torn at the edges the pages were old parchment, the writing looked like it was done with an old fashioned quill. On the corner of each new entry there was a date written in beautiful fluid script.
The days grow short, and the temperature seems to drop with the passing of each day. Today is the day of the week, in which I send two men into the town to bring supplies, seeing as how my home is far from any human population I must have men go to it and bring a weekly supply of food and commodities. My two sons took some of the younger help, to assist in some hunting, and as always my daughter remained in her room, refusing to come outside, while two others went to go cut down a tree for fire wood. Judging by the temperature drops so early in the season, one could tell that this winter will be cold, and the castle only had so much firewood stashed away. They would need, not only more wood, but more supplies as well, that is why I had sent two men into the city this time. But I worry for them, it was already late in the day and the men have not returned. I also worry for my daughter, it has been three years since her accident and still she refuses to speak to others, I worry for her sanity, and seeing her like this, not only saddens me, but it also saddens my son. Oh how I wish how my lovely Natalie was still alive, she would know what to do. It still pains me, even though my beloved wife died ten years ago, it still feels as if she passed away merely yesterday.
It was past sundown when the men finally arrived, I was surprised to see them with two new faces. Both of them were young, but one of them was older beyond his age. Edward told me that the two young men helped them in the city, carrying boxes and loading the coach, even though the two men have been paid, Edward asked them to continue helping.
I decided that I would like to know more about them myself. The older of the two was named Bowen, and he was quite polite for a simple commoner, his companion on the other hand was quiet during the whole time, I believe the young man is a mute, poor fellow. I spoke with Bowen and his companion for a while, and found out that the two traveled a lot, they had no place to truly call home. I would have paid the two a small lump of money more and sent them back to the city, but looking into the young males eyes, I noticed something in him, something that he and I both shared. It was a look of loss, just as I had lost my beloved, the young male had lost someone extremely close to him. Instead of paying them I offered them a job, the two would live with the rest of the help, and would do odd chores where ever they were needed. I finally got a name for the young male, Bowen had explained quite a lot. The young male was merely thirteen, his name was Arion and he had recently witnessed the murder of his mother. Bowen and he were not related by blood, but Bowen had taken him in, so to speak.

••KamenΩKurr••Don't judge a Black Ice by it's cover... Kamen read and re-read the entry over and over. And even the last paragraph moreso. He closed the book and looked at the ceiling to think. Arion suffered that kind of a loss at a young age Kamen could only imagine. He himself had never had to lose a parent in that way but he still lost his family. He looked out the window then looked back at the book he felt the cover and marveled at it's age. Taking a deep sigh he opened it once more. Now that he had started he was far too awake to sleep. ...I'm a lover not a fighter.

The Demon Arion Do not be fooled by my calm demeanor
The next entry spoke of Arion and Bowen once more.
It has been the fourth day since the two members had arrived Arion still did not speak, but he kept up with the others, there were rumors that the boy was too strong, that he might actually be an oger, that he was a monster that he wasnt even human. But Edward seemed to have that under control, telling the others, that a boy he grows up in the city as an orphan and doing hard, heavy odd jobs just to be able to survive for the next day, would obviously be stronger than a servant who lives under a roof, and has the support of fellow members. I, myself, have now grown curious of this young male and began watching him when ever I could, even my daughter has now grown curious. But what he did today was something unexpected. The boy had greatly frightened my daughter this morning. It was not even four hours after sunrise, when a terrified scream came from his daughters room. Once at Melindas room, she kept pointing at the window, looking over at it, I saw Arion hanging by a rope as he himself hung something in front of my daughters window. My sons nearly took him down and killed him But before they could cause him harm, Bowen apologized and explained that Arion had seen my daughter, and believed that she needed something that would make her smile even if she would not leave her room. Edward was the one that took a closer look it, before we decided what to do with the two. Coming back down, Edward described it and told us that it was merely a bird feeder, and by the looks of it, one that was personally made by Arion, the feeder was like nothing we had seen before, it had two parts to it. The first one was filled with small seeds of different kinds, the second part, hung from the bottom of the first and it was filled nectar. William, the eldest of my sons, looked closer at Arions hands, noticing that they seemed a little sticky, and had blisters.
By the time that we understood what Arion had tried doing, and before we let them return to their duties, The bird feeder already had guest. Small colorful finches stood on the small sticks that Arion had placed at the corners of the feeder, and on the bottom one, the one with the nectar, already had a small green humming bird hovering around it. And Arion had succeeded, Melinda was smiling as she watched the birds.

••KamenΩKurr••Don't judge a Black Ice by it's cover... Kamen felt like he might understand Arion a bit more. He closed the book and rubbed his eyes then deciding he was thirsty he hid the book and pulled the cord feeling bad about interrupting someones night. He sat and waited ...I'm a lover not a fighter.

The Demon Arion Do not be fooled by my calm demeanor
There was a light knock on the door, loud enough to be heard in the room, but not loud enough to actually disturb anyone, the knock was more to announce their presence than to ask for permission. A quiet minute followed the soft knock before the door was opened. It should have come as no surprise that Bowen, was the one that answered the late night call. "How may I assist you young sire?" Bowen asked with a bowed head.

Bowen gave Kamen a warm smile "It is no bother, you see the master himself, cannot sleep either. I would be glad to bring you a cup of medicinal tea" Bowen said, before turning and walking out of the room, and down to the kitchen.
