▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Skylar really enjoyed his line of work. Ever since he was a kid, his parents had put him on the right path. That path was to help those who are sick and take care of those who need it. It may of been a rough childhood as he had to get use to the power he possessed. Enduring pain and waiting for it to dissipate was not an easy task. Especially if another person's pain is a greater one. "Yes, I have the ability to take away anyone who is in pain and take it as hold... to put it bluntly I'll experience the pain while the other is fine." It was such a stressful power to use but he knew that the outcomes of helping another was always good. "I am actually not human, I'm a creature called Caladrius, we are actually a rare species so you pretty much have the honor of even encountering one." It felt a little weird for him to announce what he was but he felt comfortable enough to tell Luna. He couldn't help but smirk now since he told her. The honor what a preposterous word to say. So they were identical to hers! Only, she didn't take on the injuries of those she is helping, which she was a little thankful for since she wasn't a big fan of feeling pain... then again... who was? The elven woman then blinked before she gave a small giggle. "I should feel honored then that you would speak to a simple Moon Elf such as myself." She teased a little bit. Sure elves weren't all that rare, but they were uncommon. Most felt as if they were too good to be in the presence of humans or 'lower species'. Luna on the other hand felt no sense of being better than anyone else, in fact, she almost felt the exact opposite of that. She then smiled a bit. "I have never met another person with abilities similar to mine. Though, yours are probably more advanced than mine at most I am able to heal is probably a sprain." She didn't know for sure, considering she had never been in a situation where she had to heal someone with an injury like that, it was usually just cuts and scrapes that she took care of (most of them being her own).|Out.Of.Crystals| ~ |

▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Skylar felt pretty stupid right now for not even realizing what she was. For crying out loud her ears were a dead giveaway but yet he made no proposition on guessing. He tried to not think about it but it remained stuck in his mind. She certainly was quite young for an elven creature. Although he didn't even know her age yet. He leaned to the side to get a look at her ears once more. He wondered if this was a little awkward by him checking her out but he couldn't help himself. She was such a curious person. Very fascinating. "My abilities are sometimes a burden since one of them... well I really don't like to talk about that one." He lowered his head a little as he reminisced over his second ability. It wasn't so much as a power as more of a sense. If someone was going to die he would turn the other way. It was such a shame to have this trait but he guessed it helped him in his job. He raised his head again and tried his best to pull off a smile just for his and her sake. She guessed that they could be hard to see sometimes especially when her hair was hiding them. In her species she was actually considered very young, but not young enough to the point where she was fully expected to have a husband and children by now. She didn't want that. Not to say she didn't ever want that. It would happen one day when she found the right man and fell in love, not because her parents wanted her to marry a rich man who would see her as nothing other than a toy. Huffing softly under her breath, she then shook her head a little. No need to upset herself over such things, she left her home and that will not happen to her, she won't allow it.
Looking at Skylar again, she then tilted her head a little. A second ability? She was curious to know what it was, but he seemed upset by it, so she wouldn't ask him. "My other ability isn't anything too special. I mean. Others might find it interesting but.." She shrugged a little bit. Sure she loved being able to manipulate ice and snow, but she didn't have full control over it yet, that was why she wore the amulet around her neck. ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ It wasn't exactly a comfortable subject for him to talk over about his second ability. Despite the fact that Skylar works at the hospital and has to deal with patients possibly dying, he still hates it none the less. Trying his best, he kept the smile on his face when she spoke to him. "Well I'm a very curious person so perhaps you can elaborate your power." Seeing as she was an elven creature he definitely was wondering what she could do. Her race was so majestic and fascinating. This was actually the first time he encountered her species before. He works in a hospital and yet he never had one patient or coworker that was an elf. "Unless you are not comfortable showing your ability or telling me it then I understand." He basically stated that he wasn't comfortable with his own. She had only shown a few people her powers since leaving her village and almost all of them had called her a freak or a monster. Though, children seemed to have the best reactions with looks of awe and amazement. The most recent child to have seen her powers called her Elsa, which was supposedly a queen from a Disney movie that she would have to get around to seeing. A character with control over ice! She was definitely curious. She then looked at Skylar again and giggled softly. "Oh, I don't mind!" She said before she dug around in her bag a bit. Pulling out a water bottle, she then made sure no employees were around.
Not because she didn't want them to see, she just didn't want to get yelled at for what she was about to do. Opening the water bottle, she then smirked a little as she poured it onto the table, before the center of the water turned white along with the rest of it as it froze over. Looking at Skylar, she then smiled. "I can control ice and snow." She said before she picked up the chunk of frozen water, which glowed a little bit before it cracked a bit and sort of 'exploded' into little flurries of snow before disappearing. Her power was a rare one, even for her species, most moon elves were able to control water, but only one in a thousand have the ability to control and manipulate ice. |Out.Of.Crystals| ~ |

▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Skylar was never judgmental over anyone who either had abilities or not. Everyone was unique and with Luna he certainly did like her. Something about her personality and traits appealed very much to him. How he hadn't met her sooner who knows... He watched her dig into her bag before seeing the water bottle that she pulled out. He was just about to ask what she was doing but before knew it, he witnessed her spill the liquid inside on the table. He watched her carefully as to what she was going to do next. His eyes had widened slightly to see the water change into what was ice. "Woah..." He could not believe what he was seeing. This certainly was a majestic power she had. He kept his eyes on the ice before seeing her make it explode into particles of snow. He looked back up at her with a huge smile of being very impressed. "That is definitely one of the most magnificent powers I have seen by far." He commented with excitement in his voice. He wished he had such a power like that. "It is a fun ability." People usually reacted in two ways, with amazement or they called her a demon. She was glad that Skylar was the first reaction, then again, it would have taken her by surprise if his reaction had been anything but positive, he was such a kind person she was honestly a little sad she hadn't gotten a chance to meet him sooner. He was a wonderful person and had the kind of personality that she would instantly want to be friends with. Sure she had liked Jonathon when she met him, but other than him giving her a tour of the island, she hadn't come across him since.
After brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, the female then happened to notice a clock on the wall behind Skylar. Whoa! Was that the actual time!? She couldn't believe that they had actually sat there and spoken with each other all this time. Actually... yes she could. He was a kind person and she really liked talking to him. Though after realizing the time, the young woman did realize that she was a bit hungry. She wondered if Skylar was hungry as well. One way to find out. "Heh. I didn't realize we had been sitting here and talking with each other that long. I'm starting to feel a bit hungry now. What about you? We could purchase our books then maybe move our conversation to one of the cafe's?" She said as she tilted her head to the side a little, a faint blush on her cheeks.|Out.Of.Crystals| ~ |

▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Skylar did not think to even look at the time. He had work later on but not till late though still it would of been smart to make sure that he didn't take up too much of his time. Although he was enjoying Luna's company so much. He never wanted to have this conversation end. He let his hands fall to his side before smiling and getting up. "I am actually just as hungry as you are, let's go to the cafe and talk there before I go to work." He could feel his back crack at the feeling of getting up. Being seated for so long wasn't an easy task. It sometimes if he sat long enough, would cause his muscles to lock up. It was such a pain to feel this although he endured things like this for a living. So in the end he had little to complain about.
He moved both his hands behind his back in a stretching formation before stepping his way to the side of the table. He looked down at Luna with a smile that kept remaining on his face. She certainly had a way to make him express his mood like this a lot. He hoped that he would encounter her even more often. "So shall you lead the way?" Nodding her head, she then stood up and stretched a little bit, feeling a little sore from having been sitting for so long. She then looked up at the man and giggled a little as she nodded her head. "Okay." She said before grinning back up at him, but first she stopped at the counter and paid for the books she had picked out. She set the books on the counter and watched as the employee scanned them. Twenty-one dollars wasn't a bad price for three books. She took the bag from the cashier before glancing at Skylar to see if he would buy the book he grabbed or not. Waiting for him to either buy it or set it down she then smiled at him once he had done so. "Okay. Now we can go." She said as she smiled at him before exiting the building, walking next to him as they headed towards the cafe.

Walking down the streets of the Etoile District to the streets of Cerise, Junavi looked around finding Bookworms, but along with the walk, was checking the stores around the streets. The cold chilly weather crept up to her body, but to where her neck was at. Junavi did have a scarf around her neck, but to make herself not too chilly, she raised the scarf up a bit, covering her lips as she continued walking down the streets of Cerise. She didn't know it was going to be this cold, but the cold only bothered her neck since it wasn't all covered up and somewhat to her legs as her jeans did have some rips, but truly not so bad rips. Walking more and more down the streets, Junavi arrived at Bookworms, opening the door, and walked inside the store.
Most of her jobs were super quiet and less busy, which didn't mind her, since she likes the silence and it was a book store too. Not everyone liked reading or anything, usually these types of stores were the less busy and quiet, just like a library. Though, nevertheless, Junavi walked more inside the store and looked around to see what she could or see what kind of books they have on the shelf. As she walked down the aisles of the bookshelves, she would stop step by step, checking the books out and see what they would offer. There was manga, comics, drawing books, novels, and many other type of books! Junavi felt like she was heaven, because she was surrounded by books and many different ones that she really hasn't read yet. Most of her books that she would read is novels of fantasy, adventure, and sometimes romance. She would read so-so of manga, but really didn't her interest as much, though it sure was different than those books she would read. Picture books weren't that much interesting a bit, since it would have a picture and then a dialogue or saying what they would do next. As Junavi walked through a couple of aisles of different books, she walked to the fantasy novel shelves and skimmed through the book titles and checking the book summary once she sees anything that grabs her attention. While Junavi skimmed through a couple of books, she would also see if there was any books in the wrong place or needs a little tidying up and would fix the books to make it neat and clean.

Doing her work, fixing and arranging the books into their rightful place, Junavi was also looking around the place for something to read. There was loads of books she didn't read and did look interesting to her, but she had work to do and couldn't slack off. Maybe after a little while getting stuff fixed and arranged, she could take a small break and act like a customer finding something to read. The quietness was super quiet, it kinda became quite lonely for her. She usually would prefer the quietness and be with her older brother, but this time felt different for her and she didn't know why. Though whatever it was, Junavi decided to take a break already and read something to keep her mind occupied.
Returning back to where the books that caught her interest, she looked at them and at the back to a somewhat summary of what the book was about. After reading a couple of the book summaries at the back, Junavi would placed them back and continued searching for another one that would really take her mind into the book. Another book she pulled out was Entwined. "Entwined..", Junavi turned the book around, reading the summary of what the book is about and the three reviews that was behind the book, "Hmmm... Seems interesting enough to read.." The brunette then sat down on the floor and opened to the first page of the book and started to read. The first couple of pages was somewhat alright for her liking, but it was interesting to read. The oldest princess attending to a ball, while her eleven sisters was hiding around inside the ball when they should have been sleeping, but couldn't and didn't was to miss the fun. Junavi continued to read until it was time for her to continue working or wait till she can go home from work.

Completely into the book, Junavi didn't went back to work as she didn't have much things she had to do as she did everything in the beginning when she arrived and the store wasn't busy and mostly silent. Reading up to about four chapters into the book, Junavi raised her right arm up, checking the time, and sighed. 'Time to get off work..', Junavi closed the book she was reading, placing it back to where she pulled it out from, and got up from the floor. Before she could leave the store, Junavi raised her arms up, stretching, and yawned. She was getting a bit sleepy from reading the book, but the book was interesting to her and couldn't keep her eyes out of the book. Maybe later tomorrow before the Halloween event, she could go to the library and see if she could find the book and borrow it. She could buy it right now, though... Junavi left her bag in her house as she really didn't need it today, but she has about twenty bucks in her pocket, only to buy some lunch for later. As she finished stretching, Junavi fixed her clothes a bit, raising her scarf to cover her mouth, then raised her glasses up and starting head out of the store, walking down the streets possibly might get lunch or just go straight home.
