Taini smiled at Tsukiko, but lifted an eyebrow at the silk... it was much to nice for him. He was used to the harsh linens he wore now. Absent mindly, he rubbed a hand on the cut. It started to bleed again. Sighing, he took out a piece of cloth from his pocket, already slightly bloody, and pressed it to his stomache once again. He hated cuts that wouldn't stop bleeding. They were annoying.

"Well Tsukiko-san, yours is already done and finished. I also came to tell you I finished your chair. You remember Mako right? He's helping me with the table to dine on. It's rather... large." Large enough for plenty of gehaka that I know you will marry. Taini had resigned himself to a half love of sorts. He would love Tsukiko fully. Completely. But Tsukiko was a very attractive haka. Any gehaka that was engaged to him would be more than attracted. They would have the sleepless nights he had, and would they slept, the same dreams of the chocolate haka would fill that pitaful sleep. Torture. That's what it was.

But despite even thinking of these things...desire didn't p***k him. He was too depressed on the inside to let himself be swept away by it.

"Well, thats how it was made, for your guests and everything," Taini stared at the floor, but took the herbs with a sigh," I have to spar to stay on top of my game. I was reckless. I got cocky," he blushed slightly," so your brother nicked me. But we're pretty evenly matched. We're sparring again in awhile." He tugged on his ponytail for a moment. First in his heart? Taini's own heart fluttered at that. They would have to wait and see if it was true. At least Taini could protect him with everything he had, and give Tsukiko the best.

His smile was sweet when he looked up at the other. "I want to be strong for you Tsukiko-san." His wings twitched just a bit, and his arms ached to hold the little haka. But her refrained himself, as he didn't believe the main street, or in front of little Ren, was right. He sighed, then looked at the herbs.
"Do I just rub these on?"

Taini's ears drooped until the were pretty much lying on his head. Tsukiko wasn't going to like this.
"I'm sorry Tsukiko. I'll tell him no if you wish, but he already said he would train more...as did I." He open the thing the herbs were in and smeared some on his stomache. He kept screwing up. Did Tsukiko really want a gehaka that did so many things wrong? If his ears didn't give away how he felt, the fact that the blonde's wings were as tightly folded as possible should have been another dead give away. He didn't feel worthy of the small haka before him....again.

Taini's ears did lift a little, but not much. The gehaka had emotional beaten himself after the thing at his house, and was doing much the same now. It never helped, but fed into what he was already feeling.
"That's good Tsukiko...I have been busy as well," he stood, noticing how tall he was compared to the haka. "Tsukiko...you have things to do...and I do as well...I think I'll be leaving now." He bowed his head slightly because he knew if he bowed anymore, Tsukiko would box his ears. A small smile played on his lips at the thought of that.

In reality, Taini wished to get away. He wanted to go to that pond, and just...think. He wouldn't cry. That was for sure, but the way he felt inside...it hurt badly.

Screwed up again. Taini could tell by the way Tsukiko's ears flattened. Well...he needed to clear his head and think. It was hard to think around the chocolate haka, because one way or another he filled the blonde's thoughts.

"I'm sorry Tsukiko, little one..." The blue eyes darted around to make sure no one was looking, well, he handled the main street by letting his wings cover them for a moment. He kissed Tsukiko softly.

"Sorry. I need to...understand what's all going through my head...and when you fill my thoughts...its hard." He smiled slightly, before starting down the steps, wings folded once again.

Taini smiled at Ren, "I'll see you there then." He looked at Tsukiko and softly smiled," I blame myself for everything because there is no one you would screw up Tsukiko." He laughed slightly, but turned to leave. He felt a bit better, as he had no real secrets from the haka. But there still needed to be that issue worked out for himself. How would he handle other gehaka? He knew they needed more....

The blonde set off down the street thinking.

A soft -snick!- sounded from somewhere behind the older gehaka, followed by the sound of well-oiled wood being pulled back from the grate. A tanned foot set itself next to Amikai's crouching body, followed up by an equally dark form.

Kei eyed the squatter with as little emotion as possible as he stepped out of the shop, ready to begin the new day of collecting. Just a gehaka, he noted, though raised a brow.

"Hey, shop's open." He told the other casually enough, tilting his head back somewhat. "That what you're doing out here? Someone send you?" Some sickening little emotion of hope bubbled up in him. Was this guy to buy some art supplies? Better yet- some of his paint?
