Another day, another attack. Unlike yesterday the yellowblood wanted to try and make use of his time. If he was lucky he'd reached the radio in time.
"15 Defenders, move from the Luxury Docks to the Daylight Mall. MOVE it. That place is about to go down." Stryke added, feeling the pressure of the situation, and a sense of urgency.
He'd made the mistake to almost deploy from a location that simply didn't have the resources. Silently he watched over the battle reports crossing his fingers.

Ganyma’s breaths were audible. He pressed his fist closer and stared into the eyes of the whimpering greenblood in his grip. Ganyma should have been mortified. But he was not. Even the kids at the theatre had been pushed out of his mind after his pledge of command. He was in charge now. It would be very apparent to Ganyma later (should he bring himself to remember clearly) that he wasn’t in his right mind. But, as the drones who frequented Ganyma’s hotspots would say: “War does things to people.”
He burned and boiled as Kursha blubbered away. The words meant nothing – they were tinny little echoes in Ganyma’s thinkpan. The tealblood dropped him as he started crying. He stood tall over him, pointing at him directly with his fist still clutched and ready to strike.
“Are you done?” asked Ganyma. He stood directly in front of the child. He wasn’t much taller than him, but he was bigger. Stronger. The metal tips of his boots were in extremely close proximity to Kursha as he loomed over him. “You’re not going to question my authority again. Say anything or do anything out of line again and you answer to me. Get up. We’re leaving.”
Stryke was calling through the radio. "Roger that. Our business is done at the theatre."

Ganyma snapped to his radio. "Construction on the Mall, NOW." He roared. He yanked Kursha by the shirt and pulled him into the rebel transport. Ganyma kept a close eye on him.
"There's trouble at the Asylum again. Let's go." He pulled down his mask in preparation for the construction job -- not that there would be anything left to build on at the Asylum, with how destroyed it was.

Hearing Ganyma's comment he gave pause, it was impressive how fast they'd all worked to take down the place. They were working hard to get things done. "Awesome work, you guys are making really good progress." he answered with some amount of feeling behind it.
Stryke seriously didn't like messing with explosives. With his luck, he'd do something crazy like blow up a team mate, hurt himself, or worse. With any amount of success the kid had instead chosen to use his logistical skills and read off the blue prints of the asylum to a troll over the radio so they could actually place, destroy, and take out the target location.
No more bombs going off like fireworks in the trees. He'd had enough of that for many sweeps to come.

Ganyma was impressed that Stryke had taken down the building by himself. He gave Kursha a sign to stay put. He hadn't put away his blades.
Ganyma silently slunk out of the transport and rebuilt the Asylum to the best of his ability.

Kursha crumpled to the ground, sobbing and shaking. His mind was empty; all thoughts had been chased out by sheer terror. Even though Ganyma had dropped him, even though he was no longer held at knife point, there was no sense of relief. He was still completely powerless. Tucking his chin into his chest, Kursha hugged his arms and tried to stop his trembling. “Are you done?” The words struck him like a slap in the face. His cries abruptly stopped. In shock Kursha gazed upwards. The tealblood was looking down on him. Looking down on him. Kursha's jaw clenched. He had seen that look before. The Colonel had turned those very same eyes upon the ones she dubbed criminal scum. Kursha was being scorned. Marginalised. His life was not worth the dirt he knelt on. Black anger bubbled up inside him. It struck his veins like ice. He felt cold. Even his pump biscuit felt cold. For an instant, as Kursha stared up at Ganyma, his expression turned defiant. He would burn this moment forever in his memory. All the humiliation, all the terror, and the sight of tealblood looming over him. Above all other vendettas this was the one he would be sure to finish. Even if it took him a hundred years to repay Ganyma in full, he would never forget. Justice would be served. For now though, he could do nothing. Do nothing or risk everything. That was the reality of the situation. Returning his gaze to the ground, Kursha covered his eyes with a hand to hide the tears that streaked down his face. He hated how helpless he was. He hated it. He might as well have been dead if only to spare his dignity. One last strangled sob escaped him. His small moment of bravery had passed. “I... I understand, sir...” Kursha replied meekly. It had taken him a couple tries to find his voice, and when he did it lacked its usual mocking edge. He started to get to his feet. His legs refused to cooperate however. They simply buckled beneath him. The tealblood, losing his patience, heaved Kursha up by the shirt and dragged him off in the direction the rebel transport.

For the duration of the trip to the asylum, Kursha averted his eyes and tried to make himself as small as possible. Once they arrived, he was no different. He kept quiet throughout Stryke's demolition of the market and did not even voice a complaint when Ganyma signalled for him to stay back. He had taken the older troll's orders to heart. More than that though, he had taken the threat that had come with them to heart.
He got some relief when Ganyma finally left him to oversee the construction. It was a little surprising. He had not realised how tense he had been until then. Some of the shock was fading and in its place he discovered a growing restlessness. To occupy himself he doodled abstract shapes in the window with a finger. When he had run out of space, he turned his attention to himself. He was filthy. Covered from head to toe in ash. Though he had nothing to see his face in, it was likely a mess from crying. He wiped at his cheeks. Before anything else, he needed to remove all traces of his weakness.
By the time Ganyma came back, Kursha was a model of obedience. He had wiped the window clean, dusted himself off, and sat quietly at attention. He was determined not to give Ganyma anything to find issue with. The older troll seemed to give him no more than a brief glance however before announcing that they were heading down to the flea market to destroy an imperialist base.
When they arrived, Kursha was overwhelmed with trepidation. He even felt a little sick. He thrived off of spontaneous action, but now he found himself questioning every move. “Let me know when you're ready,” he mumbled, ducking his head. The timidity of his words infuriated him. He felt so much loathing he could have choked on it. No doubt the Colonel was pleased. He had finally become the perfect obedient soldier she had always wanted.
He shot a filthy look towards the roof-tops where he was just able to make out her hunched shape.

"Good," grumbled Ganyma. He oversaw Kursha's destruction of the Flea Market and proceeded with his own construction afterwards. Ganyma worked and worked until he became exhausted. And then some.
Behind his mask, he felt light-headed. He had to get back to the rail station eventually. But instead, he headed off. "I'm going back to the sanctuary." He muttered into the radio. It wasn't like him to abandon his team; he had every intention of returning.

"You guys did great work down at the Flea Market! I just saw the latest report. I'm going to try and hold onto the Harbor..its getting hit pretty hard...i think they destroyed our base"
He was really good at reading off blue prints, and guiding others to make things. Radioing for construction to begin on the Harbor..trying desperately to buy time for the troops to make it to the rail station for deployment it was all he could do.

"All able bodied units, your new details are to protect the harbor. I repeat the harbor. Get your asses over there! 25 to the defense" Stryke needed to leave base, perhaps head into the field. These trolls were fighting for their lives..he could too.
Then the report came over the waves...he'd been too slow. The base he'd ordered to have build on was already destroyed. "Rail Station this is Double O...cancel that. The base at the Harbor was lost, fall back to base. No need to stand around and get yourselves killed they have walls up now." He dropped his radio closing his eyes and drawing his knees up to his chest. No matter how much he tried, those loyal to the empire kept coming. They were relentless, and he was powerless to stop them.
Even with the help from his friends at Total Spies...it wasn't enough. As much team work as they'd tried to rally, it just hadn't come to pass.

When was the last time Mili had gone to the City Hall? It used to be the place to go, but then the rail station, with it's middle place location, became the hotspot. Yawning, the little teal troll stumbled through the doors. There was a quiet, heavy buzz of activity all around. Mili was starting to get a migraine, having gone to all these noisy places so frequently.
Rail Station this is Double O ... Cancel... That voice! Mili blinked and looked around from left to right. She knew that voice. It was one of the members of Just Vigilance. One of the two that the teal troll had yet to meet.
Pattering across the brick floor, she dodged the taller bodies zipping off to missions, and those who lay prone on the ground. Yes, the voice was getting closer! There! There he was.
Approaching shyly, Milieu pulled out her book and wrote down a quick note,
| Hello! My name is Teal Owl... Or Milieu. I'm from Totally Spies. You're from JV, right? It's nice to finally meet you. |

Some one was talking to him, looking up, the small yellow blood watched as she approached, offering her the starts of a smile in greeting. He still wanted to sit and sulk, but her shy demeanor made that hard to focus on for the moment. Especially when she introduced herself as a member of Total Spies. And as Teal Owl. He hadn't met her yet, until now. "Ah! Thought you sounded familiar. That's right, I'm part of JV." Slowly he sat himself up, leaning his weight onto his hands as he leaned forward to inspect her a bit closer.
"I'm Double O..Stryke if you prefer. Its nice to meet you as well." Her note taking didn't go unnoticed, a brow raised curiously but the yellowblood only slid off his seat standing up to join her.
"I'm afraid not much is going on here Milieu. I wasn't sure where to head next honestly. Kursha and Ganyma are in the field still I think. What about your team?" Stryke knew staying in a place like this where he knew nothing of the building layout was perhaps a poor use of his time, but it had worked well enough for him. Once he got over the initial shock of the map change he had considered following up with his actual leaving like he'd planned.

Sounded Familiar? Mili frowned, her eyes squinting in her characteristic disdain. What exactly had Stryke meant by that? Mili was pretty quiet and she well, was mute so... Oh! The sound of her pen tapping against the paper as she wrote. Laughing silently, Mili shook her head and jotted a quick reply to Stryke. | Stryke. I'll remember that. Hmm my team has been apart for some time. I saw Red Swan briefly, but not Yellow Yak... Though they've been on the radio. I'm sure they are safe. |
Flipping to a new page, the troll nodded in agreement, | There's a lot of commotion at the rail station. Should we move there? I hope you don't mind me accompanying you. It's been a smidgen lonely. | Milieu grinned sheepishly at that part.

He realized suddenly why..why he'd heard that constant tapping over the radio. It took him a moment, her disdain look earned the small girl a flustered look in which he actually looked away for a moment feeling silly for his comment. "Well this certain makes a great deal of sense. I meant your Name, but now I understand why the code would go over the radio. It was you wasn't it?" He smiled at her then with less hesitation, nodding as he read her follow up comment.
"Sounds good. I think thats a great idea, I don't mind the company either I have been a bit..lonely myself." He admitted quietly with some amount of realization. Keeping others company had left a space unoccupied he'd been too busy to contend with. "So of course, lets go together." He agreed grabbing his things, and donning the black bandanna-like mask before heading off to their new location, a short distance away just north of their current position.

Even with leaving with Mili, he made sure to keep an eye on the intel reports. The harbor was theirs again! "25 troops! To the harbor GO GO! We have to make up for time we lost earlier." He ended the radio transmission. In the time it had taken him to despair, the rebels already had begun work! Even if the battles would come and go, he wasn't alone.
That was perhaps the most frightening thing of all. He really wanted to do everything he could for his team. At all cost.
