She pauses, glancing over at him, "Multiple? I don't think so. Also, nothing you've done has put us in direct danger. Even if you did, we could, side by side, fight ourselves out of it. You know, the 'one elf makes a good defense and two can bring destruction' kind of thoughtline."

"Oh, so you don't remember the cave?" Darian replies. Some of his memories had clarified themselves over time. He is talking about the time when he had, almost literally, dragged Kitara into a cave only to find out it was filled with poisonous snakes. He did not know about Kitara but he had recieved a bite on the side of the neck. He would have appeared to be about six at the time.

Jay twitters something and she replies in English, "No, I don't recall. Maybe it's been blocked out or something. Or maybe it was just too long ago to recall.... I don't know, but I don't recall."

Darian slides his coat down, exposing his neck. He points to a pair of dots on his neck, undeniably from a bite. "Do these scars lie?"

She squints her light-green eyes when she sees the scars. Raising her eyes, which have widened by now, she shakes her head.
"I have no idea, then..."

She shrugs before hearing Jay chirp up something to her. The two elves step to the edge of the village that the Moonleafs live in.
She turns to her cousin, "Well, welcome home, again. Now you get to see your parents. After supper, I get to explain my pregnancy and you get to tell them your romance story."
