She'd pressed her luck. Something exploded to her right and out she went.
Somehow she was blasted into the hallway (honestly she was beyond actually questioning it at this point; it was Wonderland and everything was clearly possible) and she landed rather roughly on the floor.
With a chest. Nifty.
Except... did Wonderland have dinosaurs before because they seemed to have them now... With tiny arms and giant heads.
Huh. Well loot was loot?

iPink enjoyed the aesthetics of the rooms in the White Queen's Castle, but... This place seemed a little out of place? It was not as fancy, and had definitely been neglected. In fact, it looked more like a squatter settlement than part of a grand castle.
With a frown, she turned to leave, only to hear a strange sound coming from within the walls...

When the hissing sound stopped, she barely heard the sound BOOM that followed before she was thrown out of the room from the force of the explosion. Her ears ringing, she groaned, choosing to lay on the floor instead of moving.
As the smell of gunpowder subsided, she slowly got back up on her feet, and dusted herself off... Only to realize that she smelled faintly of roses. Not a bad smell, really, but why?

As she ran, she continued to yell; occasionally, a flower petal would flutter out from her coat. Thankfully, she got through the first room without incident, and pressed on.

It was working.
She wasn't sure if it was the running or the yelling or perhaps some combination of both, but she had successfully made it past the second room. Behind her was a handful of rose petals in a line.

Just as she thought she might make it, the final room she had to get through exploded on her, again throwing her out into the corridor. She slammed against the wall, and fell to the floor. Coughing, she pulled herself up, and got ready for round three.

Since yelling and running did the rob the first time round, she decided to do that again. Warming up by jogging on the spot - although honestly, she was pretty worn out from being constantly flung against the wall like a rag doll - she inhaled deeply, let out a loud battle cry-
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-"
-and ran.

Unfortunately, the moment she stepped into the first room, it exploded. It didn't even give her a chance to reach the middle of the room. No, it had to explode on her first step, again throwing her out of the room, and into the corridor.
She's just going to... Stay here on the floor... For a while...

tufffluff didn't know what he was getting himself into. He REALLY didn't. Not as he walked down the halls, past scorch marks or anything. Perhaps if he was wiser, and if he HAD known he'd have turned tail. Instead... he kept going.
Until he realized it really smelled and the pristine glory was gone. Ok, maybe this WAS the wrong section to go near. It was then, as he turned, they he heard it. The light hiss of something ticking away.
