Aslinn sighed when Cody spoke she knew he had every right to be skeptical. "Well it's the best option. You've got three choices if you want to go out with me today; this, high quality headphones, or ear plugs." She did have a point if he wanted to go out his options were limited. She reached into the laptop bag and pulled out a high end adjustable set of adjustable headphones and set them on his table "well you can use this if you want; i'll let it be your choice" She took the clothing she had brought in with her and went into his bathroom and changed. She slid into a simple pair of black slacks and a scarlet button down blouse. She exited the bathroom after giving him some time to figure out what he wanted to do.

Aslinn smiled when she came back out and Cody said he'd try it her way. She moved over and took her laptop and turned it on. "alright we can do that. but you know if you'd simply shoved the the connector into your pocket and used a bit of tape no one would've raised any questions." Once her laptop was on she began to sign on and pull up the internet browser.

Aslinn had just gotten everything nearly ready when he asked if they could just get it over with. Frowning she set the laptop down beside her before standing up and speaking. "If you would stop being wishy washy then yes we could. However every time i explain things to you ask for an alternative before deciding on the original option." Aslinn was growing fed up with his indecisiveness; she had half a mind to leave him at his house before going shopping by herself.

Hearing Cody's side she did have to admit he had a valid point about everything short of the roommate thing. "well the roommate thing was your idea. If your that concerned about being a human then i could try getting a charm to revert you back. I understand your not used to any of this... but you cant use it as an excuse. I wasn't used to running a business let alone the idea that i've got a whole group of people to delegate. I was pretty much taught as a kid that my sister was going to get everything and i'd need to find my own future career and life; then to have this all crammed down my throat without my say in the matter." While Aslinn spoke her voice didn't sound angry it sounded frustrated and confused. She had never had to explain this to anyone and she was very inexperienced at it.

After thinking it over for several moments she sighed. She got up and went over giving Cody a hug before she decided to offer a suggestion. "I didn't want to do it but maybe we should just go back to my village for a few days or a week. Maybe the best option is for you to be around other anthro's and watch how they live." Aslinn knew this was her best option for Cody; but she knew if she brought him back some people would ask questions and make lots of assumptions. She only hoped her mom wouldn't go overboard and start harassing Cody about marriage and grand kids.

Aslinn frowned when he brought up her sister. "Well Keira was part of my issue... but if she shows up i'll tend to it." She gently stretched and paced around before she slipped her other charm on and she changed back her tail swishing rapidly back and forth. It was clear that she was somewhat nervous about bringing him back. She hoped he would remember everything she'd told him about why she'd come to the human world by herself. If she went with him to the village she knew assumptions would be made and just how difficult it might be.

Aslinn listened to him and shook her head in agreement. "I think your right. How about you pack up some stuff and then we can stop let your aunt know and get breakfast before heading out. If your alright with going today. It's about a three or our hour drive depending on traffic. Also i'll warn you now when we arrive let me explain things to my mother.... she's a very peculiar woman." She would let him get the final say on when they left. She had hoped that when they showed up he'd be able to let her do all the talking at first in front of her mother; if anything were mentioned about that marriage document her mother would freak out.
