Volpeo however jumped to hug and pat the Shrine maiden. "Oh please excuse her Elder, the young maiden here surely has suffered a little from realm traveling. It's provably her first time." The kitsune said, already blowing out he was the one to be exaggerating things. Not that the elder would be surprised by it.

"Excuse me, if you will Volpeo, but I have traveled across the realms for hundreds of years. I am not young nor am I inexperienced." Kohaku said rather agitated by the kistune's talent for apparently infuriating her. She bit her tongue from saying anything unwise. "It appears we see the same situation quite differently. Interpret it as you will, elder but, yes, I do believe my experimental summoning of a second familiar caused me to mistakenly summon Volpeo therefore binding him in contract to me. It is unknown to me how my unique contract i broken as guardians usually remain with me, occasionally leaving only for rest." she explained. It was actually much more complicated than that but she figured keeping it short and simple was best.
Spells/Powers: + Kagura – Kohaku performs a few hand signals that will allow her to do one of three things: - Surround herself with a magical energy. Performing this version will heal her (or others). - Gain a momentary defensive barrier. It will withstand a few hits before it dispels. - Gain a significant attack boost (Only lasts about 5 posts). + Spirit Familiar - Kohaku can summon a spirit familiar (usually a fox) to come to her aid. The familiar only lasts for a limited period of time (10 to 15 posts). + Healing - Kohaku can restore living things to their optimal health, curing broken or withered plants, wounds, broken bones, and low vitality. She can’t raise the dead. + Nature Manipulation - Kohaku can control/tap into elements of nature, including air, fire, water, earth, etc. Her strength is in water and ice. Use of other elements will quickly exhaust her. + Light energy - Kohaku can manipulate light and attack opponents with concentrated balls or beams of light energy. It's rather weak but good for melee.

NPC Elder Council Milla sighed "child you should probably be nicer to the young girl...shes getting upset" she told him to her the girl was still young based off comparison of her own age to the girl. Milla then began to tap her chin "well..from experience...when a kitsune from this tree is summoned its usually of both willingness to do the summoning...and then there are times it expired due to the amount of magic both used...breaking down the connection of magic..releasing them" she said to them "but..that can take years if ones lucky...but i believe if one creates a ..oo what was it called...a piece of paper which can dispel things..the name escaped my mind but that's one option"
"I'm being nice to the young maiden. Why would she be upset?" Asked Volpeo apparently "unaware" of his talent with Kohaku as both women exchanged their theories upon the summoning contract set upon Volpeo. "I see, so the young maiden only needs to draw on some of those papers" Said the kitsune, crossing both arms and nodding victoriously, despite having no actual clue about how the dispel might work. "Young maiden, would you want me to get you some ink and paper then?" Asked Kohaku right away as he was eager to break the spell as soon as he could. Despite Kohaku's hints to point she was even older than her, since he was only a 100 years old. He was easily deceived by her young appearance. Which was ironic since even Milla looked younger than him, but Volpeo revered as an elder regardless. "So? What are we waiting for ?" Despite his poor efforts to cheer Kohaku, his actions towards the maiden would not be ignored. Soon, the jade collar would begin to glow a small bead and with a glimpse of light, Volpeo's form turned into a less irritating one. apparently the collar also looked for the Maiden's health and saw Volpeo's current form to be an issue.
NPC Elder Council Milla looked at Volpeo "seems you still dont understand the hearts of women" she sighed before tapping her chin "actually it might not be as easy as just writing it, it takes more than just the paper..it takes a lot of magic ive seen" she told him "And it might not even work..being if the qualification is not correct" she said to him "also...i dont think we should rush removing the bond...who knows the backfires of it"

Kohaku nodded. "I agree. It is better to be safe than sorry. The bond is still new and very strong. If anything, we should wait for it to weaken over time. I'm very sorry, Volpeo." she said, casting her eyes downward. She didn't want to inconvenience the kitsune despite his behavior. Hopefully he wouldn't mind too much.

"You can't? But but elder... it's not fair" Replied the tiny kitsune, twitching his ears lightly before lowering them, showing his disappointment. As Kohaku reassured that fact the tiny fox couldn't help but to run in circles trying to get rid of his anger since this wasn't amusing to him "but how long? how much do we have to wait? I can't look over elder looking like this either, turn me back turn me back" Demanded Volpeo, but the beads would not allow him to switch into his original form for as long as he represented a threat for Kohaku's health. Trapping the troublesome kitsune within the form of a tiny fox so he wouldn't be as annoying.

Kohaku sighed inwardly as she was again referred to being young. From the elder she could probably understand but Volpeo? She couldn't understand what was so hard with accepting she was older. The more Volpeo whined, the more like a child he seemed. "I've never experienced such a problem so I am also at a lost at what to do. I don't usually dismiss my familiars but I suppose I can do some research into this." she assured.

"This isn't fair at all " The small kitsune replied as he ran in circles around kohaku, as if by doing so he would somehow made her change her mind around the subject. "Yes, you do that young mayden... and...and... I'll watch over the elder for the time being, yes, that should be the best course of action. " Said to himself loudly, before leaning over his tummy observing both the maiden and the elder while his tail would playfully sway from side to side.
NPC Elder Council Milla looked at her and smiled "all up to you..ill try and find some information here...in the tree in the mean time..to see if anyone else went through this trial and found a way out" she said there could possibly have been someone ho kept this situation secret and she would have never known. she then turned to Volpeo "well..the problem with that child is that if she leaves..you leave with her..since you are bound to her at the current moment.so if her research is done outside the tree then you cant stay very long" she said giving a small smile while patting him on the head

"It seems I am going to have plenty of work to do." Kohaku said despairingly. More work. Just perfect. As if guarding the portal wasn't enough. "The elder is right. You will unfortunately have to come with me. Hopefully we can get this matter resolved fairly quickly." she said. And she sure did hope so. She wasn't sure how long she could stand being around the dramatic kitsune despite his currently adorable form.

Alrighty then, sorry for dissapearing guys I was summoned into a familiar lunch preparations.. which may start any second now D: So I don't know how much would I stay here online before I'm called out again but don't stop my me I can follow up when I get back. so that you guys don't get like, bored waiting for me.
"But... but Elder!" The kitsune seemed depressed at the thought to be forced to leave the elder once more, especially at a time like this, after some random lunatic tried to invade their home, what if he showed up again. But there was little to nothing he could do about it. Being pet by Milla, the Kitsune would proceed to stroke his fur against her hand before going around her leg between hopeless whines, observing her eyes for a last time before parting ways to Kohaku's side. Once there, the dramatic Kitsune would try the same, stroking his fur around Kohaku's legs as if that would persuade her from leaving. Sadly for him that wasn't the case.

NPC Elder Council Milla looked at Kohaku "isnt the life of a priestess suppsoed to be hardworking and busy...thats what ive always been told" she said while smiling trying to not sound rude or mean in any way. "also...try to get used to it..if all fails you will be stuck together and things like unfortunately kinda make it hard to work together...its like putting down" she said feeling like adding that portion. soon she turned to Volpeo "but what..i have no control over the rules of summoning..if i did have control over the rules i'd be a goddess of sorts..but im not"
Kohaku's face almost immediately changed to one of annoyance. No matter how she said it, it still sounded insulting. "I have plenty of work to do but I have learned to do them and efficiently. As if guarding a powerful and large portal to every realm, known and unknown, wasn't enough." Kohaku was almost eager to return home. She couldn't leave a familiar there for very long after all. "Now, if Volpeo is prepared, I must return."
