Anastasia put the Quidditch tryouts information to memory for when school started out. As of right now, she wouldn't be participating, but maybe after a skim through this book she will have the interest to do so. Regardless, she would be there for Hikaru and watch him in action. Maybe judge him a tiny bit, nothing harsh, just constructive criticism. Ana had a tendency to put her opinion out there even if it wasn't necessarily called upon. Came from being an eldest child, she supposed. Just as she was about to bid her farewells, assuming this was the end of their conversation for today, Hikaru stopped her and asked to wait just one more moment for him to grab another book. He wanted to check out at the front with her, continuing their time together.
This startled Anastasia, not saying she didn't enjoy his company, she just thought that he would want to carry on within his sanctum of books while she sauntered on to her next item. Closing her mouth, as to not look like a fish, she let a smile take place on her lips as she nodded her head in agreement. "Oh! Absolutely! Go right ahead." She exclaimed, slightly embarrassed, she hoped she didn't come off as rude before. She didn't intend to look s if she were running away. She hasn't had a large amount of friends in her life. Just other children that were around her age that were the by product of her parents friends. She would be left to stare at them in the formal living area while their respective elders conversed in the kitchen over a glass of wine. Spending time with someone she shared a decent connection with was something new to her.
"So, what is the last book you need? Is it for school or recreational purposes? Although, I guess for you, every reading material would be recreational." She snickered, jabbing his side lightly with her elbow. Placing her coins back in her coat for now, she looked to her friend awaiting for him to lead her to where he needed to go next. &&BLOOD :: Pureiiii&&HOUSE :: Unsortediiii&&YEAR :: Firstiiii&&LOCATION :: Flourish and Blottsiiii&&COMPANY :: Hikaruiiii&&MOOD :: Curious and Courteousiiii&&OUTFIT :: Put Together

"Pretty much, a book would have to be very badly written for me not to enjoy it." He said smirking at the light tease. "It'll be quick, I know where it's at." This time the book was ironically on the bottom shelf. He looked on the list to be certain it was the right book. He knelt down and grabbed the potions book. He already had a extra book on potions to try and learn not to melt his cauldron. He grabbed his stack off books, only half of them were actual textbooks, and went to the front with Stacy. He liked to think he made a friend today, he have to see if they could stay in touch once they got to school. They paid and Hikaru got the back pack be had left at the counter and stuffed them in there. He always brought a bag, though he was always asked to leave it at the counter, because he always left with something to carry. "If you want I can help with the rest of your shopping."he asked timidly after they were all paid up. He would completely understand if she said no but he hoped to hang out more. He hoped he wasn't being too weird he was not use to hanging out with many people.

Ana rolled her eyes playfully at his comeback. She really enjoyed that he can take a tease or two. It made her feel comfortable knowing she could be her bluntly snarky self and not really hurt his feelings. Him saying it would be a quick run, made her skeptical. No one every means it when they say something will be quick. Raising a well groomed eyebrow she follow Hiakru to the next book he needed. Oddly enough, he was correct. The book was only a few shelves down and as if the universe wanted to spite her, it was on the bottom row. If this shopping indicated anything about the next year, she wouldn't have such a calf workout buying books.
Once everyone was good and settled they made way for the front counter to exchange money and be on their way. Watching Hikaru stuff the books in a backpack made her slap her forehead mentally. She should have brought one. Her purse wasn't even big enough for even one book, let alone the several that were piled in her arms. Tapping her chin momentarily, she shuffled back to the clerk swiftly to ask if there was a something around she could put these books in. For an extra bit of change, she purchased a sack to safely hold her plethora of novels.
Once they were about to leave the shop, the boy looked to her and asked if they could continue their little shopping adventure together. His eyes held a nervousness that was unneeded along with his voice. Ana smirked as she slipped her slender arms into the coat that fit perfectly large around her tiny frame. "I assumed that was already the case, was it not?" She beamed at her friend brightly. "I mean if you're already done, it may be a tad boring re-shopping for the items. Although, I'm sure we can make some fun out of it." Anastasia returned her purse to its rightful position, over her shoulder, and then looped the drawstring of the book sack around her wrist, grasping it in her fingers afterward for good measure. "It seems my next stop will be," She paused briefly to skim her piece of parchment. "Cauldron. I suppose next up would be the cauldron shop. Are you ready?" She asked with a grin still etched in her face. &&BLOOD :: Pureiiii&&HOUSE :: Unsortediiii&&YEAR :: Firstiiii&&LOCATION :: Flourish and Blottsiiii&&COMPANY :: Hikaruiiii&&MOOD :: Curious and Courteousiiii&&OUTFIT :: Put Together

Loyal and heartfelt, Yet also shy, You'll blossom quite nicely in... Hufflepuff! Orphan Sisters for Life Third Years Location : Flourish & Blotts With : Each other...
It was rare that the group of four split apart. They were usually always together but they figured they could cover more ground by splitting up. Of course if one person went to one shop they’d surely be done in no time. However, that wasn’t the case. The group split into pairs. Alana and Minako went one way and Candace and Kimberly went the other. They planned on meeting up at the music store later when they were all said and done. However, it took everything Alana had to keep Minako on track.
“Do I have to remind you that you said we weren’t doing clothes?” Alana told her Asian friend as she dragged her away from the clothing store. The only one of them that really needed new robes, was Kimberly since she decided to grow like a bean stoke compared to the others. “I know. It’s just…” Minako went to say before stopping herself. “Mina! Usted necesita centrarse. Tenemos libros para conseguir.” (Mina! You need to focus. We have books to get.) She told her in her first language. “Sé que sé.” (I know I know.) Minako said right back with a roll of her eyes. “I just like looking for inspiration purposes.” She replied reverting back to English. “You know, I really need to teach you Japanese. Then we can speak like fifty-fifty.” It was a great idea in Minako’s mind.
Entering Flourish and Blotts Alana quickly went to work going over to the sections she needed. Minako noticed Hikaru from her house but stayed with her friend since he appeared preoccupied with someone else. She didn’t want to interrupt. “What’s wrong…?” Alana asked her as she glanced at the other two in the shop. “It’s nothing. How are we supposed to remember what everyone’s books are?” She asked looking from Hikaru to the shelf. “Well we’re all taking Music and Magical Creatures so that’s easy.” Alana started off. “I’m in Art with Candace… and Ancient Runes.” Minako continued. “I’ve got Healing with Kimberly.” She continued after that. Grabbing the books as they went, that left the girls to figure out the rest.
“That leaves Alchemy and Arithmancy for me.” Minako commented. “And me with Divination and Mythology.” Alana commented afterwards. “I’m pretty sure Candace took Wandlore…” She continued thinking long and hard on what the others would have added. “Kimberly took Cursebreaking and… Wandless Magic I think.” Minako thought, the last one was a gamble. “Yeah, I think you’re right. So that’s everything.” Alana said with a smile. “Talk about a lot of books… ” Minako smiled at her friend. “Don’t worry we’ll manage. A lot of our classes don’t need books so that’s a positive.”

"My mom is over there I can tell her I got what I need and we can hang out! She getting me a new one because I kinda melted mine near the end of last year" Hikaru said glad she was cool with him tagging along. "I don't mind going to all the shops again." He said. Seeing as they both were all set to go they both headed out of the store with the books in tow

I'm running late to somewhere now that I don't want to be Where the future and promises ain't what it used to be I never wanted to compromise or bargain with my soul How did a life on the wild side ever get so dull?
Jeremy strolled the trough the books mainly killing time while his mom got fitted for some new clothes. Normally, he avoid such nonsense but he had been dying to get out of the house and this was the best opportunity to get out. Perhaps they could go get some decent food after this. He better cause he was going to have to sit trough his mom stupid little fashion show she did whenever she got a new outfit or two. He was eyeing the documentary book section, they seem to be having a sale on the books about the second wizarding war. Could they not get anyone to buy them? Seemed a shame honestly seeing history on sale like it was some cheap shirt going out of style. The kind his mom would toss. He continued to browse hoping for something to do I got a seat in the middle of the road I'm gonna take my time I shop online so I can vote at the speed of life I'm like a drone way up in the sky I'm a shooting star There's a soldier that's freaking out P.S. This is war

One day you see a strange little girl look at you; One day you see a strange little girl feeling blue. She'd run to the town one day- Leaving home and the country fair... Just beware, when you're there, strange little girl. 𝒟𝐸𝐿𝒫𝐻𝐼𝒩𝐼𝒜 𝐿𝒰𝒞𝐸𝑅𝒩𝐸 𝑀𝐸𝒜𝒟𝒪𝒲𝒮 PUREBLOOD │ FIRST YEAR │ UNSORTED
Finny wished Chrys and Sher could have come along with her to get her school things, but Mother had said it was important that she go alone with Father, because it was tradition. She'd also said (kindly) that Finny needed to start acting a bit more like a young lady and less like a shy little girl. After all, there was no guarantee she'd be in the same house as her older sister in Hogwarts, and how would she get along if she was so dependent on Chrysanthemum for every little thing?
But still, being out with Father like this felt odd, especially with no one else around to... lighten up the mood a bit. It wasn't that her Father was this terribly dour, sour man, but... Finny just didn't think he knew how to deal with eleven year old girls very much, and since there were three of them, and Chrys was already away at school and betrothed, he tended to focus most of his attention on Sher. Finny didn't mind this; she was fairly close with her Mother, as unlike her sister, she did enjoy dresses and pretty, feminine things, even if she could be a bit messy herself at times. It was usually inadvertent, and not a plot to sabotage whatever fancy thing she might be wearing.
She just wasn't very sure how to to act around Father, and so had settled for only speaking when spoken to, trying to politely peer at the supply list in his hands, but also not crowd him. "I think they sell the first year books in sets," she ventured helpfully, and her father simply nodded, heading around the corner of a shelf to look for them. Finny was unsure if she should follow after him or look for them herself, and so stood there for a moment hesitantly, before getting distracted by a beautifully bound set of fairy tales on a shelf near her.
She reached up a hand to touch the cover, then gasped in surprise when she accidentally knocked several nearby books over and onto the floor, and looking around to see if anyone had noticed, hurriedly bent down to gather them up before her father realized and scolded her. She didn't know how to live in a town that was rough; It didn't take long before she knew she had enough. Walking home in her wrapped up world- She survived but she's feeling old... And she found all things cold.

spaceSorin heard the crash from the next aisle over, and peeked his head around the corner to see what had caused the ruckus. Unlike his sister, he was blessed with generally being beneath his mother's notice, and beyond his father's concern. Ironically, it was because of Celeste's impersonations and her good manners that he was thought to be the well-behaved one. Well, that and he fact that since she was a girl, their father generally assumed she was misbehaving by default. It wasn't something the boy liked, but he would admit that he appreciated the benefits of being the 'good' twin. Celeste had never complained about it, anyway, so he didn't see any reason to worry. If she wasn't upset with him, no need for him to do anything. It wasn't as though he could tell Father to back off, after all.
spaceHe frowned slightly when he spotted a blue-haired girl, debating his options. She looked about his age. Blue hair typically indicated either a metamorphmagus, or a pureblood, sometimes both, rarely neither. If she were a pureblood, it could potentially benefit him to make her acquaintance. If nothing else, she could be a friend for Celeste, which he knew his sister considered important. Something about 'networking', which he didn't understand or care about. She did, though, so he would at least try to help. Composing himself, Sorin approached the girl quickly, immediately going to his knees to help her pick up the books. Looking at her, he flashed her a small smile. "Allow me to help you with that," he said, tone crisp. More quietly, he added, "I don't think anyone else noticed," having noticed a small measure of anxiety about her. Celeste would be embarrassed if she'd caused such an accident, it stood to reason that this girl was the same. "I'm Sorin Kinsley, by the way." He paused awkwardly, intending to offer his hand, but found he couldn't, because he was holding books. Well, he could always shake her hand when he said goodbye instead. That was an appropriate response, right?

One day you see a strange little girl look at you; One day you see a strange little girl feeling blue. She'd run to the town one day- Leaving home and the country fair... Just beware, when you're there, strange little girl. 𝒟𝐸𝐿𝒫𝐻𝐼𝒩𝐼𝒜 𝐿𝒰𝒞𝐸𝑅𝒩𝐸 𝑀𝐸𝒜𝒟𝒪𝒲𝒮 PUREBLOOD │ FIRST YEAR │ UNSORTED
Finny looked up with an expression of dismay at the sound of someone approaching, but the footsteps were too light to be her father. It was a boy. She didn't know what else to add to that descriptor, aside from the fact that he had dirty blond hair and there was something odd about the set of his eyes. She could hardly judge, given her hair color.
To the unnamed boy's credit, he said nothing, least of all causing any further attention to be drawn to them, and immediately knelt down to help her. It was what she would have done. She somewhat selfishly approved. His phrasing was unusual, and furthermore, screamed 'pureblood'. As did his clothes but his tone sealed the deal, so to speak.
"Thank you," she said, cautiously smiling back. "That's really kind of you." When he commented that he didn't think anyone had noticed, the polite smile took on some more open relief, and she scrambled to her feet, brushing hurriedly at her dress. Ah, a Kinsley. That explained it. Finny paid more attention to the chatter of adults than she was usually given credit for, being a very observant young girl, and so she knew of the Kinsleys, and that even in pureblood circles, they were a little odd. Something about how they did betrothals or whatnot.
Oh well. She was a Meadows, known for odd names and odd hair. Eccentricity was very common in that regard. "I'm Delphinia Meadows," she reciprocated in kind, a bit self-consciously as she hastily shoved books back in place. "But almost everyone calls me Finny, it um- I think it suits me better."
Finny never felt like a Delphinia, anyways. A Delphina was probably older, taller, prettier, and above all, the picture of grace and elegance. Not that Finny really disliked herself, but she was a bit... unnecessary. Her parents had Chrys, the girl, and Sher, the boy. She'd just been an attempt at an heir, the second strike-out. She'd never felt lesser than her siblings, but she was aware of her standing in the family. Her parents loved her, but they'd probably have loved her even more had they not had to try once again after her, since she knew they didn't love each other, not like that.
"I'm just here with my father," she said abruptly, trying to fill the awkward gap in conversation. "Getting my school things; it's tradition in our family to go with your father, so... here I am," Finny shrugged a little. "I um- I suppose you're a first year too, then?" She didn't know how to live in a town that was rough; It didn't take long before she knew she had enough. Walking home in her wrapped up world- She survived but she's feeling old... And she found all things cold.
