What was this? Target Arian Day?

Arian was certainly starting to feel that way, especially since it felt like that as soon as he managed to escape the monsters from earlier that the monsters were suddenly swarming them en masse.

It was the Camp Larkspur effect, it had to be - after all there had been swamp monsters thingies in the lake last time round and now this - he'd known this place was bad news. Wincing he managed to get back on his feet, his ankle feeling sore from the earlier awkward landing as he looked around, hoping that the others around were faring better than him.

Marlin was not having a great night - in fact he was having a very bad night. This party had been supposed for him to take opportunity of his Dad manning the shop to get out and have a bit of fun. He had not been counting on monsters or whatever the hell those things that were attacking them were - he had to deal with enough monsters in his patrols as Falias without having to deal with them on what was supposed to be a 'fun' night out.

And he was still sore about the hat dammit.

Eyeing up the scrapes he had received as the result of the monsters having decided to declare open season on them, he looked around trying to see if he could find Margarita or Castille.

Oh, dear. Unfortunately Gwen was the first to get snatched by a monster and drug out of the circle of firelight, likely kicking and screaming. What was known was that she was not seen beyond the glow of the fires surrounding each of the remaining partiers. What had seemed like a fun invitation had turned into a night from hell, for all of them. But the monsters seemed to be having their say.

A big hulking thing came toward Isha and had him in his grasp without much trouble. It started to haul the poor boy away like the other monsters were doing with his companions. The were all being picked off one by one like fish in a barrel.
