((If it's okay, just gonna assume A.B. went exploring but didn't find anything and pick up from the latest prompt <3))
Apple Bloom was starting to get a little bit discouraged. It looked like her special talent wasn't gonna be treasure hunting, either. Not to mention she hadn't seen her new friend since that first day. Ah well, they'd probably run into each other again before the trip was over.
She made sure to spray the bug repellent all over; she didn't wanna come into contact with these big bugs they kept mentioning. She was sorely tempted to stray from the path, but she didn't want to get lost either. She somehow felt a little less adventurous when she was by herself So for today anyway, she'd stay to the path and enjoy the hike through the jungle. She asked for a basket in case she found anything she'd like to take with her. Idly she gathered a few different things, figuring she'd try planting them when she got home. Who knew, maybe gardening was her special talent.
((Apple Bloom took bananas, coffee beans, cacao, and a couple each of the Jungle Rose, Pearl Flower, and Titans Orchid.))

The Faeries had not wanted to see the book that Iris topaz had brought out with her. Heading back to camp she pulled out the old manuscript and looked at the writing trying to see if she could make out any of the words while walking. It was getting hard for the fauny to read when she looked up and noticed that no one else was around. Had no one noticed her going the wrong way and called for her attention. Well she had not been making friends with the other pae on the trip so no one would know her name and she had been one of the last to leave the mound. Looking around she tried to figure out were she was in the dense forest. After a few minutes she thought she heard the sound of crying. May be it was one of the animals that lived here Well it was as good of a lead as anything she walked fallowing the sound until she came upon a hole. It was hard to make it out in the dim light but she had been lucky not to step in it. The crying was coming from inside the hole. "Hello is any one down there?" she called out
DaemonGabrielle
I hope this is ok
As Iris Topaz called into the hole in the ground, a rather loud, penetrating "SCREE" could be heard coming from directly overhead. Before she'd even have a chance to look up to see what made the noise, she was snatched up by the shoulders with giant talons. A larger-than-average (re: giant) harpy eagle flew off quickly up high, ascending one particularly tall tree (120 feet tall). The grasp of the sharp talons ripped the straps on her backpack, causing it to fall into the hole with Shizzle. On top of the tree, Iris Topaz will see a nest with 2 eggs. The harpy eagle will drop her in the nest.
Iris Topaz strayed away from the protection of the fairies, so she's gotta deal with the jungle on her own, just like Shizzle.
((Don't worry, she, nor Shizzle are permanently stuck. There will be a prompt coming up that will "save" them. Until then, any Pae that strays will encounter a dangerous situation they have to deal with until the proper prompt.
And don't forget that Iris Topaz has hooves, not feet, so she shouldn't be able to easily climb down a 120 foot tall tree.))
Shizzle's ears perked as he thought he heard someone calling for him. Looking up, he opened his mouth to answer when a giant shadow crossed over the well he was in. His words dying instantly, he shrank down into a tiny ball and scooted to one side and attempted to hide. He was trying to tuck his head into his legs when a pae-sized backpack whacked him ontop his head.
Shizzle screamed bloody murder, sure that the giant shadow had come to eat him. Then he promptly fainted from fear. He didn't even notice the backpack sitting two feet from him...
He grinned at her, putting an arm around the female to hug her back. "Sorry Lira. It'll take a lot more than a bug to take me down though." The faun looked at the flower, his grin softening to a small smile. "You're right...I'll press it then, or hang dry it...Like my mother used to do." His memories of her were faint, but he recalled that bit of her. Living in the forest, she was so close to nature in every way. He more than happily took the bug spray and gave himself another dose of it. The insects were relentless here! As he sprayed himself however, he watched Lira cut into some plants. "What are those?"

The reason why the flower reminds him of their first meeting was because Lira only came out to gather flowers. If it wasn't for that, they would have never met

Thats right! Totally brain farted on that. ^^; ))
"Good, because I don't want to lose you!" She said as she said as she smiled at him "sounds good, but yes, lets se if we can grow it first, I would like to be able to see these on a regular basis" she sad as as she smiled a little more at the pressed and dried flower idea, something she had always wanted to learn how to do, it seemed simple enough but still, learning how to properly do it would be good "that would be pretty also, I have always wondered how to do dry or pressed flowers" she said as she looked into the basket. "I...I don't know to tell you the truth, being a lover of flowers and, in a small way, gardening, I haven't ever come across these before but then I haven't really left my room before either so there will pobably be a lot of plants out here I don't know about even the general ones" she said as she picked up the bean looking plant and wondered how it would grow "though, I am not sure if these will grow either back home, I guess we will have some gardening to do" she said, hoping they will be able to grow the three, it will be nice to be able to give something back to the Fauns, Rais and the others had done so much for her that if they culd grow these and end up being consumable items then that will be great for the Trees cook at least, he can try making something new.
((Apologies if this sounds terrible, last night I don't know what I did but my leg feels like theres a massive painful bruise on it yet it looks no different to when I went to bed but I am also feeling cold so I am off to the hospital to get checked out. ))
She'd had plenty of chances to be excused, so if she was still offering to travel with him, then that must mean she actually wanted to and wasn't just trying to be polite! Ranuin's tail swished happily, betraying him despite his attempts to seem composed and calm. "Sure! I mean, I dunno that we'll find much, and I don't mind doing the digging, so you don't have to get all dirty. But, who knows, right? If you see any spot that looks interesting, let me know," he offered eagerly, setting off again beside his friend's aunt.
Though the conversation topic had previously had him so riled up, Ranuin seemed to have calmed now that the situation had difused and Celestia's words had been reassuring. "Yeah, that's what I always thought. 'S what Dad always told me; that it didn't matter if we looked different, cause it'd be awfully boring if we all looked exactly the same anyway. We'd never be able to tell each other apart," he chuckled softly, scratching his neck. "I mean, I don't really remember...maybe it was. I don't remember that far back though. Just...I dunno, all I remember is everyone around the Tree being used to us already." He shrugged helplessly. He didn't really remember being treated all that differently by any of the normal residents of the Tree; he was just 'Faroth and Chika's boy'. "Neither Mom or Dad look like this. Dad just always told me it was 'cause we were special. Blessed." He had to admit, he'd never really felt like he was missing out on much by having paws instead of hooves. Okay, so he had to be a little more careful early on with stepping on sharp rocks or rough ground, but with time, his foot pads had toughened up and while they weren't as hard as hooves, they served him well enough. Besides, if the way he could move compared to other Faun were any indication, he was able to switch directions when running much quicker than those with hooves. And hey, long tails were totally better than short tails, yep.

Celestia laughed lightly at this, nodding. "I certainly will tell you if I see a patch of interest." It was so refreshing how this boy seemed to just take everything in stride, so his company was quite nice.
"I think your father must be very wise and very kind to have raised you to think in such a way. Some, sadly, are less open in their acceptance," at this she shook her head, sighing softly. It wasn't as if she had been made to face such thoughts personally, per say, just that she understood that such things existed and how influential parents' thoughts are on their children's. "I believe not only our traits, both in body and mind, but also our experiances are what define the kind of person we become. Just as I believe we change with the time and the circumstances." There was almost a sort of weariness to her ending point as her mind drifted to how, in such a relatively short time, she felt she had changed in personality completely. This only lasted for a short moment before she smiled at him, nodding. "You must certainly be blessed by the spirits then; your mother and father are surely very proud." Whoever these parents might be; he didn't particularly have great resemblance to anyone she could recall having met in the tree.
He nodded in agreement, hoping to be able to let the flower live on for a while yet. "It's fairly easy...at least, I think so. She made it look easy anyway." The male then blinked as she explained about trying to grow the plants. Gardening? It was one thing to try and keep one little flower alive, but quite another altogether to try and make something begin to live. For years. Trees took a long time to grow. "I'd take to just watching. Knowing me, I'd kill all your hard work." Kaiden chuckled, only half joking. There was a reason he was a hunter, not a gardener.
Raken had followed as he should have with the previous excursion, but it seemed like this area was much safer as the Fairies began passing out baskets. More than happy to finally do something proactive on the trip, he took one for himself. It wasn't often he ventured in this deep into the jungle, and it made an amazing opportunity to bring some new materials back home. With his pocket knife, the demonic went to work cutting down a nearby bunch of banana's - starting with something familiar. From there, it was quite easy to look at which trees bore 'fruit' and take samples from each of them. Reddish purple 'berries' and large fruit with strange brown stems. But there were things to be had on the ground. Various fungus' he had never seen. Perhaps he could craft some healing salves? It was there that he saw a plant with an oily gloss, not dissimilar to like poison oak would have. With this he was much more careful with, using leaves to pinch it before gently digging under it to get the roots. He gently placed it in his basket, careful to not let his skin touch it and surrounding it with leaves so it wouldn't brush against the other items. He didn't know if it was dangerous at all, but he would wisely take no chances.

"Well then mr hunter maybe i should teach you how to garden and you teach me how to press flowers then we wont ruin each others hard work" she suggested to him, she was by no means the greatest gardener on the isle but she did like to dabble here and there...at least she once did, it had been a while since shes even planted a sapling let alone trying to grow something more advanced then what she may have gotten cuttings from which means her little knowledge was going to be tested if, of course they could be replanted, she was going to have t keep a watchful eye on them. "Besides, it will give me reason to spend more time with you and make us both afternoon tea or something" she said as grinned at him, it could turn out to be a fun afternoon for them both.
Ranuin chuckled, "Yeah, Dad's pretty cool," he said, then looked around before whispering conspiratorily to the princess, "Don't tell him I said that though. He'd never let me forget it." He rolled his eyes dramatically, the thought never occurring to him that Celestia wouldn't know who his father was anyway. He took the assumption for granted that everyone in the Tree knew somehow.
Something of what the princess was saying was going a bit over his head, but he picked up enough to understand the idea that the things one experienced could change them. That made sense, really. "So, we start out one way," he repeated, trying to make sure that he was following correctly, "But then, depending on what we do, we might become something different?" It made sense, and yet, the simple statement hit him like a startling revelation. Was it really that simple? If someone wanted to be something different, was it as easy as making a choice to change? That couldn't be right, could it? Or could it?
Or was he looking at it all wrong? It wasn't the individual's choice to change, but that they were changed by events that occurred around them instead. So, one really had no choice in the matter? The boy's head was whirling, and he paused his trek through the thick foliage to shake his head as if to clear it. Wow, a bit too much to think about there. Besides, he was pretty okay with who and what he was.
Celestia's last comment brought him back to the moment and he chuckled sheepishly. "Yeah, well...maybe. I dunno, I haven't really done anything special or anything...yet," he added quietly, unknowingly echoing his father's awkward, sheepish stance as he dropped his eyes and rubbed his neck shyly. "Maybe one day though," he continued with a shrug. He picked up his pace again, pushing through the thick foliage with effort. "Dad's been all over the Isle and done all kinds of stuff. And Mom came from far away, like you did, if a long time ago," he explained. A long time in his experience anyway...which meant any time before he was born. "Dad takes me out on trips with him sometimes, shows me places and things out on the Isle far from the Tree. That's why we came out here on this trip together. Course, this is the first time we did so with a bunch of others along too." It was normally just him and his dad and Raina. He had to admit, it'd been great to have some other Faun along to spend some time with, like his new friend Apple Bloom, but as open as he was to all types of Faun, he was still rather wary of the other Pae'il in the group. Maybe his father was world-traveled and used to such strange beings, but...the young wolf still had trouble straying too far from home in comfort, in that sense.

The tour guide fairies led the Pae'il deeper and deeper into the jungle as the enthusiasm grew. The Pae'il were excited to be gathering food, seeds and spices, so the fairies felt the further in they went, maybe the more distracted excited they'd become.
The sun was low in the Western sky, and experienced Pae'il would notice that they didn't have time to return to the campsite before sundown.
About an hour before sundown, all the fairies started disappearing. Most Pae'il wouldn't notice unless they were purposely paying attention, instead of busy gathering goodies.
Not too far from where the Pae'il were digging and harvesting, a small voice could be heard calling for help.
Pae there would find a small clearing where no jungle vegetation grew, and in the center was a faerie staff standing upright like a post. The orb glowed brilliantly like a beacon.
"Help me!"
The voice was heard by all, but it felt like it was more in their mind, then heard aloud.
Above their heads was a little golden bubble, slowly descending. It appeared there was a fairy inside, but it wasn't real. The fairy could only be seen from certain angles if the sun's rays were directly on it. For only a brief moment, the fairy image would make eye contact with the you, and you'd be filled with a sense of impending dread.
Before anyone could think to lunge forward push the staff away, the bubble popped on the tip of the staff.
A blinding flash flew from the orb, traveling through the whole jungle. Each Pae'il was picked up, encased in a golden bubble and a terrible wind started, spinning all of the golden bubbles in a cyclone. Each Pae'il was rendered powerless against this magic, and no matter how much they struggle, it won't pop the bubble. The cyclone lifted each bubble high above the canopy, giving a breath-taking view of Loka Nei.
The wind stopped as fast as it started, causing all of the bubbles to plummet to the trees. As each bubble popped, the Pae'il inside disappeared.
Each Pae'il will wake up, near their partner, in a different area of the jungle. They will not remember how they got there, only that they remember harvesting seeds, plants, fruit, spices, etc. and the view of the jungle from high above it.
The cyclone picked up every Pae'il, including Shizzle and Iris Topaz, so they are now included.
In your first roleplay, your Pae'il will wake up, and find they are lost. Each couple will be someplace different, and for the duration, they will not encounter any other Pae'il. Each couple will only be given 2 of the 3 required elements for survival. The one who starts the RP needs to randomize a number between 1 and 3. The second person to post must randomize 1 or 2.
1 - food, 2 - water, 3 - shelter
The first challenge in this RP is to solve for the remaining survival element. (whatever is not rolled) It is up to each player how they are granted their natural resource, which can include food from gathering, or a stream or leaves used as a tent. Be creative.
Each pair will face other challenges, in the form of random events (should they trigger them with certain RP actions), but unless they are posted, you are on your own with this roleplay. Your Pae'il must work together to try and survive until they are rescued.
Additional Rules:
Use the tag [SUMMER] in all RP that is started, and include the Pae names. Only use the Event subforum. Each started RP has to conclude. When an RP is done, post (fin) at the end of the title. Powers work, but Pae can't fly if they have wings. The jungle climate is humid enough that Naiad don't need to worry about drying out. (this is for this event only. Non-event this is not true) Don't wait for prompts, we aren't giving any. We are only posting random events if the Pae'il do an action we are looking for. You may start as many new RPs as you want, as long as the previous ones are completed. We're looking for quality over quantity and realistic relationships to form. All our colorists have been given permission to pick any couple's RP they enjoy to give a breeding. So create an interesting story if you want your pair to be blessed with babies. Other prizes will be awarded upon successfully completing a random event.
In a small room, like that of an ancient temple or pyramid. It is dark and dusty. If a light source is found/used, it will reveal a large statue built into one wall of a Faerie Pae'il holding her staff. She has a crown on her head. At her feet is what appears to be the remnants of a fountain. There are also many bugs and cobwebs. There is an entryway directly across from the statue, which looks like it could be a way out. They both kept all items they collected thus far. Players cannot go back to collect items as of this posting. There is an unlit torch on the wall.
Zecora + Enki
In a small clearing surrounded by very dense jungle undergrowth. The sun is about to set. There are tree roots surrounding the clearing as well. It is very muggy. It is impossible to tell where in the jungle both Pae are. They both kept all items they collects thus far. Players cannot go back to collect items as of this posting. On the ground is a flint and tinder.
Ranuin + Apple Bloom
They will wake up draped over a large tree root. Below them will be a muddy marsh. The air is very muggy and full of mosquitoes. Ranuin's backpack fell off and landed in the murky water below. Apple Bloom kept her backpack, and anything she may have collected. Ranuin's backpack and collected items are recoverable. There are many sturdy vines within arms reach. There is also a piece of rusted iron that once used to be an ax.
Big Macintosh + Rarity
In a small clearing surrounded by very dense jungle undergrowth. The sun is about to set. There are tree roots surrounding the clearing as well. It is very muggy. It is impossible to tell where in the jungle both Pae are. Rarity's pack is hanging on a tree branch, approximately 25 feet above them. Big Mac's pack is safe on his back. On the ground is a large folded sheet of canvas.
Princess Celestia + Faroth
In a small room, like that of an ancient temple or pyramid. It is dark and dusty. If a light source is found/used, it will reveal a flat stone slab in the center of the room, supported by a single round stone. The slab is perfectly smooth, but the round stone is carved with intricate pictures depicting the Faerie Pae'il. There are also many bugs and cobwebs. There are 2 small holes in the Eastern and Western walls; big enough to crawl through. There is an entry-way on the Northern wall. Celestia's pack split open and all of her items have scattered all over the floor, but a few items seem to be missing. The lantern's glass globe has shattered, the canteen seems missing as does the bug repellent and blanket. Faroth's pack has survived intact. Among Celestia's items on the floor, they might also find a ceremonial knife and a small round mirror.
Tristen + Etana
They will wake up draped two different large tree roots, approximately 10 yards apart. Below them will be a muddy marsh. The air is very muggy and full of mosquitoes. Etana's backpack has ended up snagged on one of the twisted, dead trees in the middle of the murky marsh, ripped open with several items that have fallen into the water below. Tristen has kept any item collected so far. Etana has lost everything she's collected unless she can somehow get her pack. Any item that fell into the water might be ruined. There are many sturdy vines within arms reach. A wood plank is floating just out of reach between them.
Kaiden + Lira
In a dark hallway like that of in ancient temple or pyramid. It is dark and dusty. If a light source is found/used, it will reveal what looks like pictographs or hieroglyphics on the walls. The hallway goes in both directions and it's hard to make out how far down it goes either direction. There is a small, square hole towards the ceiling, however faun treebranch antlers will not fit. There are also many bugs and cobwebs. Lira's pack is missing, however her basket bag full of items she harvested is laying beside her. Kaiden's pack has split open, and all of the items from inside seem to be missing. The items can be recovered as they are laid out one by one like bread crumbs down one direction of the hallway. His basket is also beside him, the items all intact and accounted for. The hallway is lined with old, unlit torches. About 6 feet inside the hole by the ceiling is an algae-lighter. (algae produce fuel the same as dead dinosaurs)
Okeanos + Cressida
They will wake up draped over a large tree root. Below them will be a muddy marsh. The air is very muggy and full of mosquitoes. There are signs of alligators in the area. The water will be too murky for Okeanos to see anything. They both kept their packs. There are many sturdy vines within arms reach. In the jaws of one of Cressida's "special" antennae is a compass.
Sapphire + Baliel
In a small clearing surrounded by very dense jungle undergrowth. There are tree roots surrounding the clearing as well. A boa constrictor can be seen weaving itself among the roots. There are also many pae-sized nepenthes surrounding the clearing. The sun is about to set. It is very muggy. It is impossible to tell where in the jungle both Pae are. Both packs came open and scattered all over the ground. None of the items are missing, however Baliel's lantern globe shattered. On the ground is a rusty machete.
Raken + Shizzle
In a very large room, like that of throne room of an ancient castle. It is dark and dusty, obviously abandoned. If a light source is found/used, it will reveal that the pair actually landed smack in the middle of some ancient treasure room. There are piles of gold everywhere, faerie staves, jewels, crowns, vials with shiny metallic fluid, potted flowers never before seen, and oddly still alive, statues of faerie pae'il, suits of golden armor, weapons hanging on the walls and more. The room is so large, no matter the light source, neither Pae will be able to see the top. Both kept their packs, and Shizzle actually has 2 packs, but one ripped open, with the contents scattered on the floor. No extra items as the room is full of them.
Delfin + Coronus
In a small clearing surrounded by very dense jungle undergrowth. There are tree roots surrounding the clearing as well. There is an obvious hole in the ground near the edge of the clearing. Upon closer inspection, they will notice descending stairs. The sun is about to set. It is very muggy. It is impossible to tell where in the jungle both Pae are. Delfin's pack is missing. Coronus still has her pack and items she's collected. On the ground is a broken sign that says "Do not enter".
Miela + Pelagios
In a large room, like an old ceremonial room that allows spectators. If a light source is found/used, it will reveal that the pair landed in a throne room. There is an elaborately carved throne up on a platform, covered in dirty and cobwebs. The velvet cushion has been eaten away by time and bugs. There is a large sundial in the center of the room with lines that stretch the length of the room that match the sundial. On one side of the room, on the wall is a large mural surrounding a sun and depicting a harvest. On the other side is a mural surrounding a moon and depicting faerie Pae'il in ice and snow. There is a very large doorway to the South, with one door barely hanging by its bottom hinge. The doors are heavy and made of gold. There are windows in this room, but only dirt on the other side. Some windows are broken, with mounds of dirt below on the floor. Miela's pack is hanging from the unstable golden door, but her basket is beside her, tipped over so the contents spread on the floor. Pelagios' pack is intact. On a nearby table are several candelabras.
Iris Topaz + Kylieam
They will wake up draped over a large tree root. Below them will be a muddy marsh. The air is very muggy and full of mosquitoes. There are lilypads everywhere, with a frog on nearly each one. Some of the frogs are poisonous, but its difficult to tell in the poor lighting. Iris Topaz lost her pack when she was picked up by the harpy eagle. Kyliem kept his. There are many sturdy vines within arms reach. There is a small boat stuck in between two dead and twisted trees about ten yards away. There is one oar in it.
Zaden + Twizzz
Twizzz will wake up draped over a large tree root, While Zaden will be tangled up in the low-hanging vines, suspended above the murky water of the marsh below. The air is very muggy and full of mosquitoes. There are signs of predators in the water. Zaden's pack fell and is barely hanging on a branch of a fallen tree, above the water. Twizzz's pack is caught in the vines with Zaden. There are many sturdy vines within arms reach. There are two oars leaning against the tree that Twizzz is draped over. Partially submerged is a fishing net hanging from the same tree.
