Stage Three: Beyond the Edge The water drops away from under you, and the thunder of the falls surrounds you - you've piloted your glider over the edge. Beyond there is no horizon but an endless fade of fog. The world edge, you remember. If there really is an edge or an end to this world, you probably don't want to fly over it. But here, beyond the main landmass, are islands floating in the air. As you draw closer to them you realize each one has what looks like a shrine on it. The largest island emanates Blessing-glow from its shrine.
A gust of wind hits your glider, and the glider tilts to one side for a terrifying moment before you stabilize it. The flying seems much rougher here, with updrafts of cold air coming from below, chilled and made damp by the waterfall's mist. Can you keep it together long enough to reach the island?

The sound of thunder made this harder then it should be: it struck primal fear to the mind of the small shadow, reminding him again that the force of nature was nothing to be played with.
