Pushing himself to his feet, Matt took a moment to run his hands over his face and back over his black locks, slicking them back with his own blood. As he slowly began to limp forward, he ripped his leather gloves off one by one, tossing them to the side as he did. Underneath, there were only bare knuckles.
"I'm... I'm eternal..." He whispered out loud to himself as he came just a couple of feet away from 2.0, staring down at the smaller man. His fists raised up lethargically towards his face, getting in his signature brawling stance for the second time tonight. They weren't done just yet.

King did the opposite, pulling his gloves tighter onto his hands and wrists as he stumbled forward, although he managed to regain a semblence of balance again after a few more steps. 2.0 growled as he came up to Matt and jumped up, going for a single superman punch to the face of Shanahan!

Matt did something that he hadn't managed to do in awhile; he dodged. As King jumped forward, Shanahan weaved his head to the side and shot his right fist forward to meet with Kelly's stomach. If successful, he'd give the man just enough of a push to send him back a few feet afterwards.

King lost all the breath in his lungs as he was socked in the stomach so hard it picked him right back up off his feet. He stumbled back when he was shoved.

He lifted his fists back up after knocking King back, issuing a silent challenge with his stance. He was urging Kelly to try again; Shanahan wanted a brawl, despite his current state.

King huffed and puffed slightly as he looked at Shanahan. Was he dumb enough to go fist for fist with Matt Shanahan?
Uh. Duh.
King bobbed on his feet, trying to keep his adrenalin up, and with a shuffled of his feet and some fancy foot work, 2.0 went for a 1-2 Jab combination with his right hand and then a gladiator's left hand hook.

Matt's head recoiled twice from the 1-2 Jab, but his defenses weren't down just yet; his right forearm shot up to block the left hook and pushed it away. His left fist shot forward and aimed to smash right into King's chin to turn the tides against him.

The tides were suitably turned. A fist fight with Shanahan was like exchanging soup bones with The Undertaker. This was god damn bad and he needed to figure out a way to turn this striking contest into a grappler's affair, stumbling to the side, begging that all his teeth were still in place.

If there was one thing Shanahan had mastered over the years, it was the classic fist fight. After his left connected, he refused to end his assault. He stepped towards 2.0 and fired off a right jab to the man's forehead, followed by another left!

King put up his dukes, this time not to attack but to block. He had worn these UFC gloves for years and almost never used them to strike with. It was an experience to be sure. He managed to cover up pretty nicely, but it left him wide open for further assault.

With King now protecting his head, it gave Matt the perfect opportunity to unleash the fury of The Storm. His fists lowered and shot off one by one at Kelly's gut, firing off after eachother in an attempt to sent a flurry of blows into the man's torso!

The moment his last fist connected with King's arms instead of his torso, that was Matt's signal to try to end this brawl. Rearing back his right fist as he quickly as he could, he fired it off at full speed, aiming the right haymaker at King's left eyesocket.

King had learned from his mistakes. Matt had hit him with more than two of these ******** haymakers in the past minutes. Just like the Toss before it, 2.0 overcame the haymaker by dodging the attack with a sudden step back. He moved again, taking another step forward, only this step was onto Matt's own knee, and it served as a prop for him to bring the rest of his body up for an enzuigiri!

Just when it looked like Shanahan's brawling strategy was going to give him a solid lead in this match, King managed to avoid the haymaker. Before Matt had time to send another fist flying, 2.0's foot was crashing with the side of his head and causing him to fall down to the steel stage, holding the side of his head. He was swiftly reminded of the DDT on the concrete earlier; his head really ******** hurt now.
