Summer shot a look at Mel. "Don't say that," she whispered, looking like a child who'd been caught with her hand in the cookie jar.

The Basilisk cringed at the sound of the familiar siren. Dumb dragons and harpie. He knew they were going to get them all in trouble.

Well screw this!

He had done nothing wrong. It was all the others that were latching on to the human vehicle and making a ruckus. Gold eyes watched the Cerberus flee, he had told him that the others were going to draw attention didn't he? Just minutes earlier.

With a snap of his tail, Francis turned away from the car and scurried back over to his rock. Curling up and shutting his eyes tight. The tip of his tail flopping over his nose as he feigned sleep.

Then he thought better. Humans reasoned with humans. The dirt flew as the cerberus came to a hault, turned, and returned to the humans and whined pathetically. He didn't even grab meat. Nope. He was too good a boy to need to be fed to behave. He was a good Cerberus. Best Cerberus.

There was general pathetic whining in the direction of all the staff related handlers. He knew which where which. And the most pathetic puppy eyes accompanied it.

He hadn't hurt anyone. He was a goooooood cerberus. Whimper snivel?

Rin wasn't sure what had happened entirely while she headed down the path with her group. But when she returned to meet Barry halfway to ensure she got her partner, she heard sirens.

If she hadn't had a job to do ensuring Phoenix group stayed safe, she would have run to support that, but priorities. And thanking god she had left before it happened apparently.

Ok. They were done. SOMEWHERE SAFE WAS DUE. <******** monsters." She muttered under her breath while dragging Barry along with. She'd explain the sirens along the way.

There were sirens. Argos roared and nudged his nose further, just enough so that he could grab Kip and drag him out of the SUV. He then proceeded to move as far away from the vehicle as possible with Kip dangling between his teeth. And then he sat down - he didn't flatten himself like Tavast did, but he stayed still like a statue, only bending to drop Kip between his two large forearms.

<Stay there and be quiet.> He hissed, and raised his head. <Banshee, get over here! NOW.>

He might have sounded the least bit protective.

And then he bowed his head to Summer and Les, looking as mollified as a dragon could and snorting soft curls of steam.

They were being good now. She had to make that new SUV go away. It was her goddamn responsibility.

The creatures scattered like roaches, and Melanie was left wondering if she shouldn't consider transferring to security detail. If the sound of that vehicle was all it took..

It was a tempting thought.

"Eat your meat, you naughty troublemakers." She growled, picking a piece up and throwing it at Fluffy for him to catch in his mouth. "Before they shoot your medicine into you. You know you prefer this method." Tavast was given a roll of the eyes, and she patted his neck before nodded. "Go on, eat it." Maybe, just maybe, if they calmed down a little, she wouldn't lose her job.

Maybe.

The state of the SUV said otherwise.

"Friendly, yeah. Hyper? No. I think these guys have seen a little too much action, today. It'll take them time to adjust."

And oh Fluffy could whine and play up the pathetic card. Because as soon as he realized he had an ear from Mel and Summer he let out another pathetic whine briefly with his scratch. Then, as per a proper underfed glutton, he caught the meat and munched on it obediently. Which would be rather effective in sending him to a nap as soon as it hit him full on, but for now more puppy eyes and sadness and trying to avoid the bad place.

He gave Summer his best set of eyes as he finished the meat he'd been commanded to eat and continued to lay there, head low to the ground and ears down. [Saaaaave meeeeeeee.] Because security never listened. The handlers were nice to them.

Les reached out and caught Summer's hand, pulling it back from the cerberus' head while shaking his own. Bad monsters did not get ear scratches, nope.

Clearing his throat, he patted Antonio's hand as a sign that he could detach himself and stand up, while offering an apologetic smile to the group at large. "Terribly sorry about that." He some how doubted a bit of charm and a winning smile would get them out of the trouble they were now in, but it really couldn't hurt to try. "They're not usually that rambunctious, but as Melanie said, I don't think they've adjusted to having people on the island that aren't staff." At least no one had been hurt. The same could not be said for their vehicle.. But, a little damaged property was much preferred over a damaged guest and a lawsuit.

Speaking of.. Les leaned to the side so he could stare into the backseat of the SUV, looking for their insurance man to see if he was alright.
