MaddyMage Matthias shrugged. "She has strange powers. We used her to power the machine up at the top of the volcano and cool the volcano down." "Tch. Strange powers. You'd know all ab--" She paused as if she were in pain and quieted down."With the volcano cooled, it will gradually fill with rain water and become a future habitat for water Pokemon. That was Archie's plan." " That is certainly a good plan. What good is an active volcano anyway? All it does is destroy. This way it's useful. Ren agreed. " My name is Kasumi Kasumi told Maddy " Ren and I have been together for as long as we can remember." she indicated Ren

Maddy gave Kasumi a dark look, her red eyes staring deeply into the other girls.
"Why bother telling me anything about yourself? I'm just a prisoner to you idiots anyways..."
Matthias shot Maddy a warning glance with red eyes of his own.
Maddy crossed her arms uncomfortably.
"At least you can remember things... I don't have any memories before being captive here."

MaddyMage Maddy gave Kasumi a dark look, her red eyes staring deeply into the other girls.
"Why bother telling me anything about yourself? I'm just a prisoner to you idiots anyways..."Matthias shot Maddy a warning glance with red eyes of his own. Maddy crossed her arms uncomfortably.
"At least you can remember things... I don't have any memories before being captive here." " I'm trying to be nice. I didn't even know you were here until the Volcano." Kasumi answered " Though...You did give me a feeling of deja vu, like I should know you from somewhere, but I have absolutely no idea where." " So, shall we go out for a little fresh air, even if we stay closeby?" Ren asked Matthias.

Matthias sighed yet again.
"Fine. But no speaking of it to the boss. He won't be happy about it."
He dropped three Pokeballs into Maddy's hand.
"You can have them back for now. But once we come back inside they're mine again."
Maddy's face lightened up a little as her Pokemon were returned to her. It made her a bit happier, even if it was just temporary.
Matthias rolled his eyes and grabbed her by the shoulder.
"Let's go."
He proceeded to push Maddy along in front of him, heading towards the exit to HQ.

MaddyMage Matthias sighed yet again. "Fine. But no speaking of it to the boss. He won't be happy about it." He dropped three Pokeballs into Maddy's hand. "You can have them back for now. But once we come back inside they're mine again." Maddy's face lightened up a little as her Pokemon were returned to her. It made her a bit happier, even if it was just temporary.Matthias rolled his eyes and grabbed her by the shoulder. "Let's go." He proceeded to push Maddy along in front of him, heading towards the exit to HQ. Ren and Kasumi nodded, confirming that they wouldn't spill the beans. Ren walked ahead of them, opening the doors, and Kasumi walked behind them.

Once outside on the beach, Matthias let go of Maddy.
"Well, go do what you want. But don't wander far."
She gave the ocean a wary glance and looked up at the night sky. She took a deep breath and gave a sigh of relief.
"The air is much cleaner here..."

MaddyMage Once outside on the beach, Matthias let go of Maddy. "Well, go do what you want. But don't wander far." She gave the ocean a wary glance and looked up at the night sky. She took a deep breath and gave a sigh of relief.
"The air is much cleaner here..."Kasumi nodded to maddy " It is really nice here" she agreed "" So, did you mean what you said, about having no memories? None at all?"

"Yeah."
Maddy sat down in the sand. It was nice and cool like the night air, but it didn't bother her.
"I remember waking up in a forest, my head pounding. Archie appeared, subdued me, and had me carried off by his men."
She tried to summon a ball of fire to play with, out of habit, but trying to summon the flames made her body shudder with pain.
Matthias stayed off to the side, arms crossed. He looked over at Maddy, frowned slightly, and looked away.

Maddy also let out her Pokemon, a Torchic, Larvitar, and a Piplup. She looked at the Pokemon sadly, as if something was missing. Thinking about it made her head hurt so she just remained quiet.
Matthias shook his head.
"I don't know anything about her. I don't even know what she did to piss Archie off so much."
He took his TADS out to check the time. It was getting late.
"All I know is I'm ordered to keep her under control."
He didn't want to mention that he found Maddy familiar.

Meowth was watching the other Pokemon from her lap. Ren called out his Zigzagoon, which raced over and playfully tackled Maddy's piplup. It wasn't a serious tackle that was meant to hurt. Ren looked at Mattias " My Zigzagoon likes playing., so might as well let him play." Ren explained to Matthias " Will you let any of your Pokemon out to play?"

"My Pokemon don't really like to play."
He let out Rykter, his shiny Charmeleon. It had a scar across one eye.
"They're a little more battle worn than most. They take things a little more serious."
Rykter stood by his trainer's side, looking over at Maddy and then up at Matthias.
Maddy's Piplup coughed up a few bubbles out of surprise. He proceeded to squirt Zigzagoon with weak jets of water. Maddy smiled slightly. It was nice to be reunited with her friends for a bit.
Matthias checked the time again.
"I think it's about time to get her back inside. It's getting really late and Archie might be by soon."

Meowth was interested, now, so Meowth jumped off of Kasumi's lap and used a payday attack to chuck out coins at larvitar and torchic playfully. Kasumi chuckled.

Matthias walked over to the both of them.

MaddyMage Matthias walked over to the both of them. "Come on. Time to go back." Frowning, Maddy stood up and recalled the three of her Pokemon. She placed their Pokeballs in Matthias' outstretched hand.
"Fine...""I'm sure the both of you can handle yourselves." He said, gesturing to Ren and Kasumi. "I'll escort her back." He proceeded to shove Maddy along, heading back inside. "You gonna watch me while I sleep too?" She asked, scowling."Yep." Once Mathias and Maddy had gone inside, Ren and Kasumi had a practice battle, starting off with Meowth and Zigzagoon, then they battled their Eevee's against each other, then they used their Abra's, then Ren used Sneasel and Kasumi used Cryoganal, Kasumi used Mudkip and Ren used Axew, and finally Kasumi used Voltorb and Ren used Poochyena. After the duel, they treated their Pokemon, gave them treats, and then turned in for the night to sleep.
