Leon was at least going to give Ami that, she might have been barking up the wrong tree. but she knew where to bark. It still left him unhappy with her insinuations. "Again, directionality of the blood spatters would be a clear giveaway of that and furthermore." he began with a pause and gave the hunter a look.
"its kinda hard to play 'pick up all of humpty dumpty's pieces, when you are fighting in the haunted house, spending time with a certain female hunter and trying to stop Dakota and Rep from hurting each other. Madison can vouch for my attendance there."
These baseless accusations, the boxer had to wonder if this girl was just an assistant to some half baked defense attorney that enjoyed bluffing his way through a court trial.
"For the record, my charge actually enlarges the chained teeth bits to Nidhogg, and trusting no one, leads only to despair."

[ Pathway walking towards the Labs ]
A bark of laughter escaped her. "I commend you for your tenacity- not in your argument but in being able to keep the perv and the psycho apart." It was no secret what Ami though about certain individuals, especially Dakota.
Especially Dakota.
"Relax though. I don't think you guilty for a moment~" she murmured. "Remember how Rep tried to smash his way through the table? He's a full hunter and he couldn't leave a dent- yet the killer left gouge marks on the table and the floor. If a hunter of Rep's ridiculous mass couldn't do it, how could you? No offense, that is." It certainly was curious though.
"The obvious conclusion is that a leader or assistant is the murderer- but! What if the marks are signs of a struggle? The broken window would act as evidence as such. Suddenly the list of suspects has expanded." Ami, of course, had figured this out a while ago from talking with Deryk. Was she maybe lending Leon a hand?
The doors of the labs lay in front of her, and Ami, unfortunately, had a different section to go to than Leon. "Hm, hm. I guess I'll have to leave you with that. Pity."

In hindsight she was rather glad that the note had left such specific instructions about where to turn in her interview notes. Had it just urged her to interview her peers she would've completely ignored it, but the fact that it had a turn in box made her think it might have been a test. Honestly she never knew what the division leaders or assistants were up to. She had her suspicions.
< It's kind of creepy down here. >
You don't say, Ami responded, rolling her eyes. Pipes everywhere, furnaces steam and mist. She definitely didn't want to stay here longer.
< You know you could've just mailed it? The note like even said too, > Junpei added proudly. He really thought he'd deduced something.
Someone could search it and ruin everything. Trust no one Jumpy~
< Junpei. >
It's much safer to hand deliver. Less room for error and danger. A jet of steam inches from her face alerted her that no, it probably wasn't safer.
Either way, she found a place to drop it off and headed off on her merry way.

Well, he was finished with the worst part of it, Tuck suspected - interviewing superiors wasn't exactly something he felt comfortable with.
On to the next.
But first, some lunch.

Lucky had been so preoccupied looking over his shoulder that he had completely failed to see Ceres in his path. "AH!"

Well this was rather awkward.
She blinked a few times, staring at the other before taking a step back. She did not know this guy, but she had seen him around before. Pressing her eyebrows together, she wondered how he would respond. She was still riled up from her talk with Rep, so she wasn't really in a mood to play more guessing games...
"...Hey uhm." A pause...name name.... She heard his name somewhere before... Oh! Yes! "Lucky, Im taking a poll... would you mind telling me what you did around the ending of October? Im asking random people. Besides, you know, the mission to the Haunted House we pretty much all went on."

Cafeteria
Jerry had no idea what was going on. While he had witnessed the madness of the initial incident, it was far from his mind. A distant trauma shuffled into a sealed envelope with all his other distant traumas.
For now... Coffee was on the agenda. A nice huge steaming cup of the swill to help power him forth. His scruffy hair was pulled back into a ponytail, and he certainly looked like he could use a cup or six. Sleep was for people without a thick sealed envelope of distant traumas.
Tuck was pouring himself a cup of the bitter coffee when movement caught his attention. He offered the rather haggard looking man a slight smile before moving out of the way.
Tuck snort-choked and gave the hunter a serious look.
"Sorry to interrupt. I'm Tuck, Moon trainee."

Cafeteria Rep arrived at the Cafeteria after taking a brief reprieve from the "intensive" investigation he'd been doing. It was Death work really he thought, in the same way cooking was woman's work. It should have been the bastion of some slimy Death midget (why were so many of them small?) rather than a proud and noble hunter of the Sun.
So he had earned his break. Apparently.
Clattering around with some milk and the kettle, he managed to fill a cappuccino mug with hot chocolate and set adrift a small fleet of marshmallows in a stormy creamy ocean. And then with almost reverent care carried the whole thing over to the table where he sat and meticulously started eating the chocolate sprinkled cream with a small spoon.
Ceres had been really suspicious, he thought to himself, but so were a lot of the people in this ******** nutjob facility. It was really ******** hard to find a murderer when you lived in a prison.

Ceres - Was a huge ******** monster versus that Red dragon thing so could have killed the council ********, she says she was dead but she could have sleepwalked or some s**t. Hell she could have been used by someone ok. - The only thing that I doubt is if a woman would be smart enough to cover their tracks after something like that - Really ******** suspicious (9)
Jerry pushed his horn-rimmed glasses up his nose as he blinked at the unfamiliar face, his own flushing slightly at the noise that had escaped Tuck's throat- was he laughing at him? "Moon trainee, huh? Good to meet you! We can always use more Moons. How long ago did you awaken?" Friendly enough conversation, right? He had to head out to the testing facility again soon but a few minutes of chit-chat never hurt. His burn scars contorted as he tried to give his friendliest smile. "I'm-" He juggled his coffee to his other hand before offering the freed one out, "Jerry. Jerry Collins. Sun." Judging by the stripes on his coat, and said battle scars, he had been there a while, "Do you play any musical instruments?" His eyes lit up with sudden excitement at the prospect.

When it was clear Candace was not after him, he turned his full attention to Ceres.
"Oh. Yes. That," he mused. "I vas there, turned into statue, but got better. Still have it. Vant to see sometime.... er... you have name..?"
He tapped at his clipboard with a few fingers. "Vere you.............. elsevhere?"
Herryk's guffaws were rattling around in Tuck's skull, forcing the moon to give a sort of pained smile to Jerry.
"Not too long ago. Month or so, and ah. No.Can't say that I do."
Tuck cleared his throat. How the ******** was he supposed to do this? He took a sip of his coffee, glancing around the room briefly before swinging his gaze back towards Jerry.
"What kind of weapon have you got? Gotta admit, they're pretty fascinating."
Herryk snorted.

"Ceres." She added when he asked, forgetting that maybe he had not heard her name around here after all. "There was a mission to the haunted house middle to late october... i was one of the ones sent on the mission." Not like it wasn't public knowledge about the mission, right?
"Wait you were turned into a statue?" Priorities tossed out the window man, this was interesting.
The Sun Hunter sagged, looking thoroughly disappointed at Tuck's answer. But he was not one to be easily thwarted. The sparkle was back in his eyes as he straightened up, "If you ever wanted to learn any, I used to be a music teacher!" He beamed. The next question derailed that thought, though, unfortunately. "Roar?" He tapped the golden penny whistle that hung from his neck, "Oh, he's... definitely special," He grinned proudly. "Don't know of any other Suns with something like him. We could Spar some time, I promise I'll hold back-" A wink and a rather pointy elbow nudge to Tuck's ribs. "He's a cannon. Of sorts. What about your partner?"
