((Off for the night and may not be on much tomorrow, so I'll just do a breif post on what Nascen's response would be, and leave the offensive out.))

Nascen jolted backward at the charge, finding himself cornered against the building's side as he did. And rushed into melee combat. He'd had some experience in defending himself, but he was by no means a great fighter, and he doubted being able to stave off this guy's sword would be enough, so there was no competing with him except for wiping away what built up magic in him he was able to identify and wipe away on the spot, the 'Last Shot' part of what was going on, hurriedly before rushing on to finding his next move. Thinking quick, he went through with the one way he best dealt with close range combat.

He stayed the hell away from it.

Not sure he'd be definate to hit the Viceroy with a PIS, and not his allies by mistake as well at that, he instead rolled forward quickly, onto his hands, kicking his legs into the air to hold himself in a clumsy handstand for just a part of a second. Enough for him to kick a pulse impact shot from each hand.

Usually, the force had a recoil on him much smaller proportionately to what it did to other things. In this case however, his hand was already against an object, so the force came from his palm and blasted the kinetic energy straight against that.

Only the earth wasn't going anywhere too fast.

Nascen was tossed like a rag doll up into the air, clumsily attempting what might have turned out to be some cool aerobics from one of these crazy-fighter-peoples, but he just flipped and flailed about randomly, arcing up, up, and landing on a building's roof a few short feet from it's edge, rolling quickly to his feet, just in time to start drawing his rifle, and breifly admire the forest. "Save the world, and go on vacation, all at once? Bloody brilliant."

"The hell is this? Do you have any sense of direction?"

Vahn stuck his head out the window, before promptly opening the door and taking a look for himself.

"Does this look anything like Barton?"

"This isn't right." He got out as well, looking around. "Barton is the central hub where everything else on this continent connects. I don't remember a forest in the central hub. Missed a left turn at Albuquerque?"

A sigh and he looked forward. "Anyway, there's someone fighting near. I don't think it's good to pass this up, the way things are going on."

Lazenca reached down and picked Myst up by her waist, setting her on even ground. When that was all over, he turned to the sounds of battle.

"Let's go... destiny waits for no man, woman, or wolf." He yawned. "And I'm tired, and fighting's the perfect way to wake up."

((Okay...looks like the Viceroy is here, so this is where Owle's message to Leon goes.))

The shield around Leon's mind was still intact. He was unharmed. Good. That was good. But how, how had he managed to be possessed?

Leon? Owle's voice would be directed to Leon alone, but the Viceroy might be able to hear it as well. Are you alright in there? What's going on? Her tone was as gentle as she could make it, like a worried mother hen's.

Greed retuns to take some more.

Athan's tackle wouldn't do nearly as much as he thought it would. Mainly because it stopped inches before the flesh, it was like ramming into armour. Mostly because there was armour there now, Gammu's. Viceroy was knocked back, surprised, but thanks to the new armour not as far as they would have hoped. Since he aimed bellow the arms it left them to deleiver powerful armoured punches. A three hit combo, Jab to the gut, elbow to the face and second jab to the gut.

That last jab was assisted by the retro rockes on his arms and legs. Capitilizing on the jab, it fired to the side seperating the two men.

Well at least he had the advantage of urban com... ********. When did that forest get here?

"Something good this time." He focused on a Chaos Roullete, dispite the fact if kept changing like this he would drain all his energy.

Owle It was the voice of a scared Leon, I have no idea!

It's going to be okay, Owle reassured him. Now, she had no idea if it was going to be okay at all. But she figured it wouldn't help to worry him.

She knew there was another mind in this body, somewhere. Unfortunately, the whacky ways her abilities worked made such problems nontrivial.

So, instead of doing anything fancy, like invading Leon's mind any further and going from there, she just shouted telepathically and hoped the Viceroy could hear her.

Oi! Viceroy person thing! I hear you don't like the gods...well, I don't like 'em much, either. Fact, I practically applauded when you brought this game to a screeching halt.

She would have applauded, if she had actually managed to notice.

Now, the thing that puzzles me is...why are you wasting time destroying the universe? Wouldn't it be neater to just go straight for the gods themselves? I mean, you have ultimate power, don't you? It shouldn't be too hard. I'd even offer you my help...if you wouldn't mind starting with Thanatos. He's an a*****e.

Was it a bad thing that she couldn't tell if she was lying?
