The broom helped. Junko swept up the pesky little things, opening her door and smacking them out of her bedroom. "And stay out!" Junko shouted, slamming her door closed and looking around her room. She sighed with relief when they seemed to be gone, first checking on her minipets. "It's okay, it's okay. They're gone. You're safe." She cooed to them, reaching in to pick up Sayuri and Kuro in both arms. They were shaking, licking her face and whimpering. Junko smiled. "My brave babies, I'm so proud of you. I'm going to go see if there're anymore, okay? You guard the room." She gave each of them a kiss on the head and put them back down, opening the door to the pet pen so they could come and go as they pleased.
But where to first...? Junko frowned, changing quickly out of her pajamas and into more presentable clothes and hurried out of the room. Was the rest of the school okay?

As the creature swiped at her with its arms, she swiped back, not allowing it to come any closer; it was not eating her dress form.

It soon turned into some sort of a flailing match, with her flailing her hands at the creature, and it flailing its claws at her.
It was not very effective on either party.

The creature managed to claw Lizzy before she had a chance to react, but at least it wasn't eating any of her precious stuff!

"Alright, everyone out!!!" Maddy bellowed and swung for the nearest shadowling. His tail bristled, whipping back and forth with rage, as his weapon struck one of the creatures.
Well, ... it was another successful hit, at least.

"Get away from that!" Lizzy squeaked, barely pulling a bolt of fabric away from the greedy creature's jaws; fabric is expensive! There was no way she was letting it be something's lunch.
She did, however. use it to whack the creature.

Maddy swung again. The little thing seemed to shrink back, and sink into the floor, only to reappear beside him.
Jack be damned, these little pests were resilient! He circled round it warily, thinking all the while, it best not go for his notebook again. Or his cap.

Again, she used the bolt of cloth to whack at the creature, sighing in relieve as it dissipated. After making sure that there were none of those nasty things left in her room, she checked to make sure that her minipets were alright before exiting the room; she was intending to alert her friends, but the corridors were filled with those creatures... So her friends probably already knew.
She decided to head over to the club rooms; for some reason, she felt that she should go there instead of somewhere else.

The cait sith settled for a different approach. He swung an arm for the nearest creature, and as it sank through the floor brought his blade down so that it caught the shadowling as it reformed.
