"Oh, it's nothing. Stick with me and I'll keep you from even breaking into a sweat - for now." He grinned as he kissed Barth's neck. Despite how much the demon probably would want to put up a fight, his energy was always low and it had been a long day. It was one of the perks of having a boilfriend who valued miniscule effort.
Despite Barth's warning, Calder did not go as slow as he probably should, and the lava taught him the lesson once again that being slugish might just might pay off.

Barth did his best to dodge the kiss.
That small lean was enough to dislodge him as Calder trotted right into an unstable patch of land and died instantly.
While Barth was very sad about the loss of his...friend, really, Calder should be alright. He had more pressing concerns. Like not being smothered in lava.
He crawled painfully and slowly forward, smoke rolling off his coat.
The flower, interestingly, was perfectly fine.
But again singed and smoking, he found himself at that room with the statues. He was not sure whether he was pleased with this turn of events or not.

Unsteady, just like...well, the last time he'd been here. He limped unhappily between the statues. Some sort of jar. Coin. ...He rather wasn't interested in the Coin, and it was sending him...distinctly unpleasant vibes in the first place. Barth imagined it might do something like, grant infinite wealth. Which, while nice, he was already rich in the filthiest sense of the word.
He was not, after all, a greed demon.
He did have some earth elemental in him, though. From his mother's side. He'd always thought the thorns might have been a result of that.
Of more interest to him, resultingly, was what looked like a plain and tiny seed.
"Hmm," he said, plucking it up just as he'd plucked the rose. Barth turned it back and forth, and it seemed less plain. In fact, it seemed to emit a greenish glow. "Well. You know what they say about sowing and reaping."

In light of the searing, Barth was rather satiated as far as thirst for adventure went.
Thirst might have been too strong a word.
He wavered a bit, before collapsing into a very sleepy (but rakishly handsome) pile. Although Calder was free to carry him, once he was sufficiently recovered.Quote: [ Round 1: ] - All players must roll a 6 sided dice. If any player rolls a 1 or 6, you have triggered a boss! The DM will be in charge of rping and keeping track of the boss's HP. The boss has 50/ 50 HP and does 5 auto damage every time it is attacked. You can attack it unlimited times within discretion. Attacks go as normal. The boss is shadow shaped, a remnant of the old world, noone can go any further until the boss is defeated. IF NOONE rolls a 1 or 6, or you have defeated the boss, you may proceed to round 2. Calder was now just getting tired of dying, and was more or less pouting at this point, loosing some of his friskiness though finding it hard not to want to cuddle Barth for comfort. "I don't like mountains and lava."

Seeing as Barth was moving, Calder took his hand to make sure he didn't fall off a cliff and walked up the mountain for what felt like the bazillionth time. "At least we're having some alone time outdoors." He said, talking to himself.

Calder kept dragging his boilfriend up the mountain. Then, deciding holding hands wasn't the best thing when said boilfriend was asleep and just wafty sexiness, Calder wrapped his arms around him and sort of walked behind him. It was awkward, but it was still enjoyable.

"Yes. Yes. Tonight we'll go INSIDE your room and INSIDE your bed covers." He slipped his hands inside Barth's jacket before he had to move to the side to slowly make his way through the lava that surrounded the place on the top of the mountain.
It didn't help. Maybe Calder was just a tad too heavy, but he fell through the rocks anyways.
