Alex's increased volume in his voice didn't exactly have the effect he desired, though admittedly he felt able to relax a bit more once Yin was gone and out of sight, so perhaps that was just for the best. He couldn't seem to get over his feelings for the boil, no matter how much he tried to ignore him. Time though, that was all that was needed. That was what he had to keep telling himself. Time would heal all wounds...or at least, that was how the saying went. Alex's mother glanced up just in time to see Yin making a quiet retreat from the booth, and her lips pursed even tighter as she leveled a stare down at her son. She might not have any idea what happened between the two of them, but she was obviously unhappy about it. Still, she could tell that her son was still in pain from it, so she finally relaxed with a sigh, the tension in her body disappearing as she looked up towards the horseman once more. He was still smiling. If she wasn't so used to the same near constant expression from her husband she might have found it oddly disconcerting. As it was it just seemed to warm her up towards him slightly more, as she gave him a smile in return. Complimenting her son also helped. "I am sorry. It is good to meet you, Salbei. I was just taken slightly off guard, please excuse me if I seemed at all forward or rude." And then the question about the pumpkin. Alex's mom laughed and Alex himself reached up to run fingers through his hair. He had no idea that horsemen had little knowledge about how denizens of Halloween were born. "No no, not difficult at all." She replied, at the same time that Alexander said, "How would I remember? That was nearly 17 years ago and I was just a scareling baby." The zomboil noted that Mei had returned and offered her a wave combined with a shrug and an apologetic look.

Freya practically skipped up onto the platform, fixing her heels to make sure they didn't slip off before smacking the game and choosing a song at random. When the music and flashing lights started up, she made a dramatic pose, and then got to stepping.

Yin darted through while Alexander was having a conversation and ninja'd away again before anyone really knew that he had been there.

Mei gave a small smile to Alex, things weighed heavy on her mind at the moment so she was only mostly distracted as she tacked up the next set of high scores. Man, some of these people sucked. Perhaps she should start up a DDD learning annex or something. She watched Freya with the most interest...not good. The ghoul merely shook her head from side to side. Pushing her shades back up her nose. Sydney was going to where Before had told her to go--really she was, but all the music and the lights and the dancing--well, for her desu little mind (thank you pink rose) she couldn't keep herself from giving it a try!
She (in a 3' tall male golem - see avatar) stepped onto the dance floor, almost bouncing on her talons as she waited for the song to start. And when it did--
Well, she sort of sucked. Ah well, she thought as she tried to hit the colors, almost falling on her face several times, it was fun!

Oh man! DDR! Or... DDD in this case. It seemed to be pretty much the same. Deryk was never really good at this game, but he did enjoy it nonetheless. Though, he paused for a moment as it seemed to be manned by someone he recalled attacking him a few times in the past. Well.. she wouldn't know right now at least, and so he went on to give it a shot.
He did... alright. He managed to get a combo going, but he could have done better. This small body was a little weird to move in.

DDD was a game Billy loved, and a booth had rented out an arcade version? Well well, he enjoyed watching a few people go at it before going himself. Part of the fun was seeing everyone's moves. And he didn't do to bad, if he said so himself. Didn't manage to hit any combos, but he was happy with a score of 30.

Kwasi remembered this booth! It had taught him that stomping on arrows was pretty hard indeed. That had been a vaulableish life lesson, and he'd also gone away with a token or two. So when he passed by it again, he decided to give it another shot.

Tedan remembered playing something very similar to this game before becoming a Hunter. Stepping onto the pad, he stretched a little bit and started dancing. Manyara was breaking it down on the pad today. Even though she was leaping up and down with wild abandon, she was somehow managing to hit the pad just right to rip out some mean combos.
Not that she was aware of this. She was just having fun jumping up and down and shrieking.

Dance Dance Revolution had never been her favored pastime (Guitar Heroes kind of stole that spotlight), but Madeline had no qualms with giving DDD a go. Swirling through songs she'd never heard of, the tiny marionette doll pursed her lips and chose one that sounded like it would be fun. Settling back, she rocked up on her heels and down again with a little grin, and when the arrows began flashing across the screen, she let loose.
It wasn't the best score in the world, but hey, who could blame her? Her legs were five times shorter than normal. <********' golems.

Wilson scratched his head as he spotted another familiar game while he ambled through the booths. Dance Dance Dedolution? He cracked an amused grin at the name as he stood behind a familiar doll. “Having fun?” he called out as soon as the song faded out and the round ended. Once Madeline got off he hopped onto the platform and scrolled through the songs. “Can’t say I was ever good at this game, but it still pretty fun,” he murmured as he selected a song.
Dancing in an unfamiliar body? Nope nope all of the nope.

"Oooo! a DDD machine!" Astra exclaimed, jumping onto the board without hesitation and waiting for the music to startup. And when it did, she started moving and grooving and having a good old time. Although, as she continued to jump around trying to get the combo's, she realized that this was a lot harden then it looked. Or maybe her legs weren't long enough to reach all the buttons. But it definably wasn't that! It was just a hard level, thats all...
