Marigold was still having too much fun to return Chipper back. She was learning so many things and it's been so long since she had someone to talk to in this manner.

The canarrion continued to speak with the blue jay, seemingly having no intentions of returning it back to its cage.

The longer Marigold spent with the jay, the less she wanted to put him back in his cage.

Ears flicked back and forth as Roch played a tune. A passing smile at the boil, he made not to chat later. In that moment? Sparrow had his attention. "President hopeful, though I'm not the only one. I saw your pin on a friend of mine, and just the same, we've never formally met. Two birds, one stone, if you'll pardon the play on words." He reached over, holding up one of the reaper's pins. I wish to throw my support behind those who have like ideals, and from what I can tell, we share a few. Even should I end up not being elected, I may still vote for those who are... less inclined to certain events. You know how it is, some students can be a bit extreme but really, extremism has no place being supported by our school."

In his mind at least.

He wanted to be nice to the birds - Sparrow seemed to have an affliction towards them - he recalled finding one of the "exotic" kinds once and transferring it to the caring hands of the reaper, (normally he was the kind who kept the pets he found, but this one was remarkably avian, and his cats would have had a hayday with them.)

But this bird.

Hearing the mocking tone of Spectacles, he furrowed his eyebrow up and waited, trying to see if it would even try to come near it again. When the bird finally showed it's feathered head again, he swiped at it lazily, not looking to harm one of Sparrow's beloved birds. He didn't get it, but he did come close, pulling away with a small handful of feathers that he kind of felt guilty about.

Spectacles, of course, was mocking him again.

Sparrow opened his mouth to say something, thought better of it, and shut it again. He gave Roch a mildly suspicious glance, wondering what exactly had brought about this sudden change of heart, but the music was rather nice.

Even if Roch himself was confusing.

But Spectacles had gotten free again while Sparrow had been distracted. Thankfully, however, there was a ghoul that pushed him back in, and he gave her a friendly smile.

"Thank you," he said amiably. "They are a nuisance, aren't they?"

Looking back at Frost, Sparrow gave a nod. "Well, I wish you the best of luck then, Frost," he said, all but beaming. "And I appreciate your support. I understand your sentiments quite well."

Roch finished up the song, letting his guitar dissipate before he headed for Sparrow. He held out the pick, offering it to the other reaper. "For you, man," he said. "A little gift for luck, y'know?"

Then he grinned at Frost. "Yo, King! How's it goin? You enjoyin' the festival?"
