haha, i miss spirit week in highschool, even if the people making it seemed less and less creative as the years went on x3

i never had one Oo

I'm sure they must have been nice...I feel like I've mist a part of my highschool years...we had sports events...never art event, fun/imaginary events...ONLY stupid sports events...[that I never went to, but still]

well, the majority of spirit week was to support the sports teams, but i just ignored that x3 that really stinks though, nothing but sports events? that was pretty lame of your school :/

NOTHING BUT SPORTS EVENTS
we weren't even a sports' school. In my first year, we had halloween party, xmas party, then second year and the rest, no party for holidays whatsoever, no more dances were done. And we had 1 hour of sport everyday, plus our normal PE classes. My school just decided to gave us one more hour of school per day, just for stupid a** sport. But then, the next year, people started saying it was stupid, what about art and sciences...so we still had 1 more hour of school per day, but 3 times a week it was sports, and 2 times it was sports or art or sciences, students were able to decide which one they wanted...but the art and sciences always costed something more, like 20$ per 3 months, sometimes it went to 60$ every 3 months...I hated that. But i still got art periods, like just drawings or peinting, but still it wasn't teachers, just people paid to look at you and say you sucked, while they just read a book or stayed on a computer. And when they tried to draw it was really like....picasso went into a woodchipper, got eaten by a dog, then that dog vomitted it to reswallow it and you know...
They just took the worst people ever to check on the art classes...which really sucked... crying
So yeah, my highschool days....love of my life *sarcasm*

it is worst then lame
and well...a student actually said he was gonna blow everything off with a bomb at our school [that kid was able to do one, because yeah he did a small one, and put a pair scissors in a guy's arm] and the school did NOTHING at all. they said he would never do that. well at the ball the police had to be there because the threat was real and students HAD to call the cops on him...
so yeah, its worst then lame.
And it was a private school...
its suppose to be better then public school, my friend in a public school had no problem at her ball, or whatever.
just some friends that used drugs she got there...

...there was a BOMB THREAT and they didn't do anything?!? that school needs to be examined by the board of education or something, that's ridiculous. if there was a bomb threat at my school (which there was, many times, usually as a way to stop school for the day), then parents of all students would be called up and warned, with an option to keep their children home, schoolbags would be searched before anyone could get in, and they'd have a bomb squad there searching the school before anyone could get in. and that was even with pretty much everyone knowing that the threats were just a prank. oh, and that was a public school too, if that makes any difference.
