Then it would come down to role-playing capabilities and who has a team more so designed to take out the other. The leveling up system is something I did for myself and if you don't want to do it, then please don't. I'm only using the level system for the sake of 'moves I can learn' and the 'level a Pokemon evolves at.' It has nothing to do with If I'm stronger or not than someone else because if that was the case, I would just play Pokemon black. In a guild scenario it's about role-playing abilities and who's more cunning.

You don't have to do it if you don't want to. It's not mandatory and people don't need to follow my lead on it. Ultimately it comes down to who is more creative in a battle. If you want to know why I'm doing the leveling system, it has nothing to do with whether or not I'm stronger than someone else. It has to do with 'what level does this Pokemon learn X move. and what level they evolve at.' The leveling system is not mandatory and ultimately whoever wins a battle is going to be the person who has a better strategy and role-playing capabilities.

This guild doesn't follow a level system and you don't have to either. The rules state you can have your Pokemon evolve in a reasonable time, which means that you could in theory have your Pokemon evolve before it even reaches level twenty. I don't know why people are annoyed with my level system, it took me 21 posts just to get to level six and I see people at level 5 and they only made like 7 posts, but I'm not arguing with it because people have their own methods of doing things. Nothing is mandatory and I'm not expecting people to adopt my habits.

You make a valid point...everyone's going to go about this differently. And if i just irked anyone sorry. In some cases its a matter of opinions. And this is one of them...as i love saying "To each their own". Battles will most likely come down to Pokemon Logic, whoever uses it best comes out on top...

SwordOfTheDarkOnes Uhm...Bells...Trainer, i noticed something weird about your psots and i was kind of curious. You guys only fought once...your Pokemon were at Lvl.4 after that...how are they now Lvl.6? Idk.. xD I think that it's just something Sleigh wanted me to do so I did. LOL! From what I got from the guild though, you can have more than four moves and you can automatically know them, so long as they're within your Pokemon's learning capabilities. You can even learn TMs and Egg Moves if you want to! :3 (Well, according to the rules, not entirely sure.) What Sleigh wants is the progress our Pokemon make as they go on a journey, starting with only one move but becoming strong as time goes on.
There's nothing wrong guys with wanting to do that and of course, there's nothing wrong with wanting to start with a Pokemon that already has seven moves in their arsenal. In the anime, Pokemon that Ash catches already have a bunch of skills and they don't have a level system, they just evolve when the time is right. Turtwig was able to beat Gardenia's Pokemon and I'm pretty sure logically it would be past level 16 to do that. (I'm not telling you Sword, this is just to clarify for the guild.) Bottom line is the leveling system is optional and sleigh and I want to do it so that we can watch as pokemon get stronger over time, instead of just starting strong.

Oh about pokemon you can have a level system if you want. Before in my first pokemon RP I ever did we didn't use anything like it. It's optional yeah, I find it helpful. For learning move and evolution and such.
Also, moves your pokemon can know reasonable egg moves. Like for example Pichu. It would be okay to have a pichu that can use Thunderpunch, Wish, Charge, etc. You know moves like that. Just no Thunder, and Hyper Beam .-. like be fair. Those moves should be taought to evolved pokemon. XD
In order to teach a TM move you just right a training post. Like how Ash train's his pokemon on the show to learn moves. You Know? And just pm me or Agace and we'll tell you wether or not your pokemon learned the move. And we'll add it to your TM section of that pokemon. I'll be fixing up the pokemon parts of all your profiles don't worry. For future reference heres a skeleton for pokemon:
Species: Nickname: Gender: TMs: I've been using this [pokedex] for pokemon info.
Also one last thing. How should we evolve pokemon that usually get traded in the games? What do you guys think?

Mhmm, :3 I never wanted the Leveling up to be mandatory and that's what I was trying to say to everyone. xD Maybe RP'ing trading with someone at a Pokemon Center, and maybe that Person could be an NPC or something so that you don't have to find someone to role-play with to trade with. How about friendship Pokemon? How do we do that? maybe I'lld ask agace and friendships easy, make it a post showing your pokemon connection with you

I have an idea, Sword and I did a Poke-RP outside of Gaia once...she's actually using the younger siblings to the character she used then. Clever girl...anyways what we ended up doing was that the Pokemon would be briefly used by the other person, maybe against a rival who was pushing things a bit too far.
Like her character had a Machoke, but when the rival pokemon went to deal a fatal blow to my Delcatty. she tossed her poke-ball to me and got my Delcatty out of there. The show of friendship was so moving that Machoke became stronger for the two...
