The Poop Deck

After that nice little game of shuffleboard, the pair continued on in their exploration of the main level of the ship --

-- only to round the corner and find this section of the deck literally covered in sh--poop. Lovely. "Well..." He started slowly, an eyebrow raising as he glanced around at all the Wingull. "Guess we know what this part's called, huh..?"

It did look, however, like the cruise staff encouraged trainers to try to get rid of the Wingull, so with a shrug Leo glanced down at his beloved Mightyena. "Want to try and scare one off?"

Anjali barked in delight as she bounded off and attempted to attack one of the flying rats Wingull...

...except it was hardly a glancing blow, and the Wingull quickly righted itself and pooped right on her head.

Anjali stumbled back with an incredibly surprised (and displeased) yelp, reaching a paw up to try and rub it off. Leo simply sighed and gestured at his Mightyena. "C'mon girl, let's go to the showers and wash that off."

[Exit to showers because ew, poop]

[Option A]

A scruffier and damper Anjali burst out onto the poop deck several minutes later, looking absolutely determined to take out at least one of these pests. It was only fair after one so graciously pooped on her head.

Leo stepped out onto the poop deck just in time to see his Mightyena launch herself at another Wingull. All he could do was shake his head and sigh as he watched.

A jump, a poorly-executed attack, and another angry Wingull later, Anjali found herself once again with poop on her head. With an angry growl, she stalked past her master and towards the showers once again. As much as she wanted revenge for such atrocious transgressions, she wanted to be clean when it happened.

All Leo could do was chuckle as he followed her.

Option B Shina grabs a(n) OAR and prepares to beat down some Wingulls!

Shina nudged her last target behind some rope, and went after another.

Whoops. Two in a row down. Maybe she shouldn't swing quite so hard?

Anjali burst out onto the poop deck - again - and with a snarl launched herself at another Wingull - again. Leo stepped out and slid his hands into his pockets, watching his Mightyena. He couldn't help but notice some girl swinging at them with an oar... Was she having better luck?

Leo's eyebrows rose as the poor Wingull was knocked right out. A hand raised to rub the back of his neck a bit sheepishly. Whoops.

Anjali, however, seemed pleased with the result. With a toss of her head, she casually kicked the unfortunate little pokemon behind a box. No one would miss it.

She still wasn't satisfied though, so with a predatory growl, she leapt up again to attack another Wingull.

This one wasn't nearly as injured as the previous one, however, and with an angry squawk it began pecking Anjali's head repeatedly. With a yelp, the dark-type shook her head in vain before turning tail and fleeing back the way they'd come. Her trainer had already gone back through the door; he didn't want to get pecked by an angry Wingull either.

Lenore grabs another fallen wingull and prepares to beat down some other Wingulls!

Lenore picked up another wingull. She immediately went to work on the first conscious one she found.

The wingull slumped to the ground, its head having collided with the other wingull's head. Lenore swung again.

The next wingull dropped one of the shiny coins when it was hit. Lenore put it her pocket as she attacked again.

Another wingull hit the deck. The wingull Lenore held wasn't much more than bloody pulp now, but she kept swinging.

The wingull she just hit dropped a coin as well. Lenore picked both the coin and the wingull up before throwing the beaten and bloody wingull she had been using at another wingull.

The wingull carcass slammed into a wingull who was coming to attack Lenore, and it crashed into the deck. Lenore pocketed the coin before slamming the new wingull into another.

The next wingull was knocked aside by the blow. Lenore charged forward into the next one, but failed to notice the squadron that had gathered above her. Bombs away!
