Ishsk (Ground), Attacking Mazamath
Once he had the dragon's tail, Ishsk was not very inclined to let go, and had started to pull on it when the blue tured around and lashed at him. He released his hold with a pained screech, but quickly retaliated.

Stupid, persistent beast! He had more important things to do than fight a scraggly wher, he needed to be looking out for His and keeping her safe. If anything happened to the brownrider, she would then be the closest target at hand. He snapped impatiently at the wher.

All he wanted to do was end this damn traitor, but the boy's whip was coming straight for his face, and he was forced to recoil to avoid losing his eyes. The blow still left him reeling though, and was followed up by another from another enemy.
As Kloth roared and lashed out at the red dragon, he struggled to keep upright.

[A'nos: Using splint]
This was why he liked allies. Panting for breath he gave the unfamiliar man a nod. "My thanks." He then stumbled back a few paces and used the splint he had grabbed to brace his left wrist, which felt as though he'd sprained it or something. It wasn't much, but right now any small difference could be what separated victory from defeat.

S'orl acknowledged the other man's thanks with a slight nod of his own, although mostly he was just glad he'd actually managed to hit the brownrider this time. Missing twice in a row would have been...well, it hadn't happened, so it was beside the point. He kicked at their enemy's knee, trying to bring him down.

Being clawed had hurt, but being bitten really hurt. The blue's teeth came down on Ishsk's left wing with a crunch, and the wher roared, trying to free himself and strike back at the nasty Big.

Mazamath had thought that would be enough to dissuade the ugly creature, but he was wrong. No sooner had he begun to release his bite when the wher turned to claw viciously at his face. The blue bellowed and tried to jerk away before it could do any serious damage.
AdiMine! We cannot stay here, it is too dangerous! Especially for her.

His world was starting to get blurry. Staggering back he raised his arms to protect his face. Benden was fallen, and it looked as though he would follow behind soon enough.

Poor stupid H'tag. Wiping blood away from his mouth A'nos turned his back on the other Benden rider, leaving him to the man who'd come to his rescue; he had other targets in mind. He advanced on the blue dragon. "You know, I don't appreciate it when people try to hold me against my will. I don't have the time to write a cutting ditty about it just now, so a lashing whip will have to do duty for a lashing tongue." Smiling grimly, feeling revitalised by the smell of a possible victory, he cracked his whip at the dragon's face.

I do not appreciate it when people try to hurt Mine, Mazamath hissed back, covering his face with a forepaw to protect it. The blue curled in on himself, using his tail to bring his own rider in close to protect her as well. It was time to go.
He spoke to Calanoth and the brown dragon. I must go. I am sorry. He couldn't risk fighting to the last, couldn't risk Adi having to fend for herself. Perhaps you should do the same.
Gathering His, he leapt into the air the blinked between.

As the blue grabbed his rider and fled A'nos grinned like a shark. They would take this Weyr. A new world order, and him as a part of it. How strongly would the handlers think he believed in their cause, if he was willing to throw aside his privileged position as a bronze rider to join them?
Still grinning the bloodied and battered rider limped back over to where H'tag was barely standing. "Go down old man, along with your disgusting regime!"

The man turned out to be just a little faster than S'orl had given him credit for, and S'orl grimaced when he managed to avoid him. Just as he was about to give ti another try, however, the bronzerider returned with his whip...and if that hit didn't do it, nothing would. He stood down, taking a moment to see who else was left.
