Batsu sighed, he didn't want to leave the villagers by themselves but staying here would be suicide. He looked back at the ship and to the village... then back to the ship again. "Alright... let's go." The mission was a bust and it was on his watch, This was gonna haunt him for a while.

Masa put her hand on Batsu's back. "We'll come back for them. But for the time being, you are of more use to them alive then dead, so lets go." She ran towards the boat and prepared to use her mist if needed. She was happy to get away from here with her head still attached. Whoever these guys were, they weren't small time bandits.

"Come on Batsu, time to go." Shinzu said as he grabbed Batsu's shoulder, tugging him towards the ship they had came on. No matter what they did this mission was well beyond thier capabilities now, it would only lead to thier meaningless deaths.

No sooner then Team 1 reached their ship then did a large group of well over a hundred Kama soldiers, followers, and supporters of various types enter the village. Within thirty minutes all the leaders of the small village were gathered up. Half of them died for refusing to cooperate, serving as examples to the rest of the people of the village. Meanwhile a man using a megaphone extorted the benefits of self rule and self determination. The village was under Kama rule, only the first of many, as many different cells where activated all over the Water Country. Ranging from small three man groups to ones the size of the one present here, they activated, setting out thier individual tasks.
