Monica opened the door to the diner with a smile, waving to the familiar employees. She beckoned Takeda inside, taking her usual seat on the Bar. "This is the Diner, it may not be the prettiest, but their food here is nothing to laugh at. They cook food from all over the world, mostly to make the kids here feel more at home," she said.

"Hmmm," she mused aloud, "I'm a bit biased for their French dishes unfortunately, but I'm fond of their Foie Gras. Their Italian is also top notch if you prefer that cuisine." She called out to a server, "Just the usual for me tonight." In no time at all they brought her a big cup of coffee with swirls of caramel drifting on the top, she smiled at it. "Of course us older folks always need our coffee," she said with a wink to Takeda.

Soji smiled, "Well, lets see if they have my favorite." he said as he motioned for a server to come, "Is it possible for you to make Yakitori?" Soji asked as the server nodded, "Perfect, then I would like just one or two if you do not mind." he said as the server then went away. Soji then turned to face Monica, "Well, since I am off the clock, I would prefer some saki." Soji stated as he reached for the small brown jug that he carried with him, it was at that time, the server reappeared with his meal, "Thank you, my good sir." Soji said as he took his food, which consisted of small pieces of chicken meat, liver and vegetables skewered on a bamboo stick and then grilled. "I think I might be in love with this diner." he joked as he took a bite from his food.

Monica laughed, "I would join you in a round of drinks, however I'm afraid I'm a bit numb on when to quit," she said with a mischevious smile. She sipped her coffee, "Glad to see you like it here, afterall, this is the only eatery other than what people cook themselves," she added quietly, "That's how they rake in the profit." She chucked a bit.
