I'm on this character to start a new thread in the ASDF forum - "Locations". My idea is this: a repository for the descriptions of rooms within the ASDF RP 'world'. Instead of having to (as opposed to wanting to) describe important rooms each time, we can simply link to the room's description in the Locations thread.

The base has recently been rebuilt after some unknown alien(s) crashed their capital ship into it. Lots of people are still missing and/or dead, and the area around the ASDF base is still scorched and littered with scrap, although a restoration project is underway to clean it up and restore the grass to the area (Tanasha has toyed with the idea of having the fabbers build some simple salvage and gardening droids, but they're still too busy with replacing vehicles and nonvital amenities which were destroyed inside when the main building was significantly damaged in the attack). The wreckage of the ship is off to the side, having been stripped of any usable technology and long since started being used as a source of materials for the fabbers.
Currently, one of the ship's droids is in holding. It seems cooperative, although we have no idea what it's trying to say to communicate.

"The Memorial pool" (An NL-65 impact site resulting from post-impact combat) has been touched-up into a perfectly smooth glass pond with a nice marble setting around it, and a fountain with a scrubber to keep it shiny and clean as long as it's got power.

Discounting wounded, dead, and missing, I'd peg us at about 60% staff. Counting people on leave, we're down to about 50%. (Traumatic battles with lots of death cause mental health problems)

Everybody active who uses a vehicle has one, although it may not technically be 'theirs'.

The satellites were ignored in the conflict for some reason, so obital assets are unaffected.

The defenses were the first thing put back up, even before the hull was finished.

Ammo stores are nominal - it's not like we keep the stuff near an outside wall or anything, that stuff is kept in isolated underground storage centers that form the last vertex of triangles between the various bays and the main base. The stocks weren't damaged in the attack, and what was depleted was quickly replaced through vendors.

Basicly, the base itself is fully functional. The people inside would beg to differ on the meaning of "fully functional", but it's doing the job it was meant to as well as it used to.

I need a sum-up too. Was this crashing capital ship a hostile and premeditated attack? Or was this a Macross event, where the aliens lost control/died out and the ship just happened to miss the rest of the universe? xd Eileen's backstory include a bit about hostile alien forces, so I'm wondering if we get to merge concepts there.

Alright, mind if someone give me a SitRep via PM? I plan to just fully devote my time on the GGNs, since O/M is on the verge of another war.

I haven't really caught up with the Gaian Goverment story or the ASDF, GN, or GA, but I expect it to be much like our beloved O/M a few years back.
