Raziel remained seated. He was mulling over the words that Arel had spoken to them. He hadn't been involved in the Trials, and had no real idea of how good or bad they were, but apparently they were a big deal and the students at Amityville must have done something right.
He was interested to see the culture and lives of these other individuals, but also a little wary of what could happen.
He could see all around him in the auditorium there were other students he knew, and many that he didn't. Though for the moment, Raziel was very content in keeping to his thoughts and waiting for the real excitement of going to the Clans.

The happiest Owl is Endzela. The absolute happiest Owl. There was no happier Owl than this one. None. They could try to be happier and they would fail miserably and have to go home dejected because Endzela had taken the title from them. Her eyes shut blissfully and the cooing and clicking resumed.
"I think I took on the uh, jewel-class thing and some other one, I'm gonna be honest and say I signed up at random," He laughed cheerfully at his own carefree ways. He cleared his throat and shrugged, "I hope they will be fun though, I mean as fun as in interesting," despite having a familiar that embodied wisdom in some places...Kettil clearly didn't take on such qualities himself.
He glanced down at the little moths and just kinda grinned at them, they were nice little critters though he might have to keep an eye on his familiar. Just in case.

Lucinda reached out nervously and shook Alexander's hand, she looked down at her feet again for a moment before looking back up at him. "I'm Lucinda, Lucinda Necroforo." She looked over towards the boil sitting next to Alexander and waved nervously before waving to the ghoul that was talking to the zomboil too. She smiled a bit at the mention of classes, academics always calmed her nerves. "Um I have Conquest and then Famine next week. I'm really excited about my classes, how about you and ummm" She looked towards the boil sitting next to Alexander and the ghoul who was talking to him too. "I'm not sure of names yet, I'm sorry..." Lucinda looked down at her feet again and scratched her arm a bit, half nervous and half embarrassed at not knowing what to say.

The blonde headed ghoul only beamed while the boil looked from her to the pin. It seemed like he liked his good luck charm but she wasn't sure. Her heart sank for just a moment when he said that he couldn't take it. "You should take it. It's my gift to you." She said before she realized what he said next. Then she smiled and nodded. It certainly did remind her of her Elle. The smile still ever present on the Necromancer's lips she once more hugged the boil. "Thank you. I'll make sure to wear it all the time." Not only had she given out her pin for the first time but now she was getting her first ever pin. It felt right. And all the more special.

This Dev person seemed more normal, if that was the word to use. He glanced at her, clear relief written in his eyes for his explanation. Right, so this head bump wasn't normal. It was something that only Fallow seemed to enjoy doing. Bongani gulped, his fingers still a bit rigid on the puca's shoulder. He could feel the horse leaning into the touch and blanched slightly. He didn't know what the make of Fallow's expressive face, but there was definitely something wild about him.
"I'm not afraid," Bongani sputtered, releasing Fallow as if he'd suddenly grown hot. Rubbing his lithe hands together, Bongani grasped for his composure and slowly brought it around him. At least he wasn't sweating like a pig any more. He was thankful the bone designs on his skin was water proof. "And I'm Bongani," he added, folding his hands into his lap once again so he could better study the two students before him.
If he was inclined towards smiling, he would have after hearing that both Fallow and Dev were going to be in the same class as him for the first week. "I'm also in Conquest and seemed to have the same feelings for War as you, Fallow." He inclined his head to the puca before offering the same courtsey to Dev. "I look forward to our classes together."

Reiko wandered through the crowd, being careful not to bump into anyone. Many "excuse me"'s and "I'm sorry"'s and "gomen nasai"'s were uttered as she did, any time she came within the barest brushing distance of another student.
And then she spotted them. The two boils from the Trial of Famine. The one she had pushed, and his...boilfriend, who had (very rightly) yelled at her. 'Oh on oh no oh no.' She froze momentarily, eyes widening slightly and a jolt of panic working up her (technically nonexistant) spine.
Well, the mature thing to do would be to stop standing and staring and go up to them, reintroduce herself, and attempt an apology. If she didn't melt into a puddle of embarrassment in the process. (There was one good thing here, she reflected, her embarrassment about the incident and utter conviction that she was in the wrong overrode her anti-boil feelings. Perhaps she should do ridiculously stupid things she had to make up for later more often.)
The onryo slowly shuffled over to them, briefly pausing a distance away and considering running away. No, no, she was going to do this. She nodded politely to the two ghouls and bowed a little. "Ah, hello, I am Reiko Yamamura, and I am an exchange student for the Horseman program..." She said, reintroducing herself to the boils as much as introducing herself to the ghouls. She turned to the boils. "We, ah, met...at the Trial of Famine..." She said, ducking her head so her face was completely obscured by her hair.

Oh, Lou would be on his best behavior alright. He wouldn't dream of being anything but.
As for interfering, though. He had to wonder. Did hitting on the inevitable horsewoman hottie count as an interference? Lou figured that was more of a life enhancing experience than an interference. He was, after all, the hottest thing on two legs.
Speaking of hot, where was Xiu? He figured after going through the trouble of the trials, surely she would've come to the dump that awaited them. How had he gotten in? Oh, you know.
Lou knew people.
Simple as that.
"Oh Xiuuuu~ Xiuuuuu~" Lou called after the assembly had come and gone, now officially disinterested in anything else... Until something sexier came strolling along.

It was impossible for Ev to contain the quite giggle that finally piped up from how adorable Endzela looked now. So relaxed, and at ease. Pleased as peaches to be able to provide such a comfort for the precious avian, Ev didn't show any signs of letting up.
But she did allow her attention to stay focused on Kettil, the moths around them becoming more active now. Jewel-class... her free hand lifted to let a sharp nail tap at her bottom lip. That sounded awfully famili--.. ah! Her perfect posture perked up a little, smile curling more, "I believe you chose the Death class then. I too picked it as well..!" she held back the faint exclamation that threatened to join in, undeniably grateful to have someone who she might be able to talk to about the class to be. "I'm curious, how did you chose it by random? A flip of a coin? Pick of a card?" these were all old-school methods... due to her family being rather out-dated in almost every sense asides morals.

Rafe felt that all of this was suddenly sounding rather more ominous than it really should have. Feeling distinctly like he was missing part of a bigger picture, he contemplated whether or not he should ask it or if he would look really stupid by not knowing any better. "They wouldn't...um...we're all safe, right?" Schools were safe places. Nobody was going to get seriously hurt in a school. Sure, it might be challenging, but....there really wasn't any reason to worry. Right? RIGHT?

"War. You signed up for War your next class," Endzela said lazily. Unlike her Reaper she was paying attention. Now about those pettings. Ahhh yes. She could get used to this!
Kettil only responded to his familiar with a laugh, "Alright then, that answers that, thanks." He grinned a bit as he looked up at Ev, "That's pretty sweet! We'll be seeing a lot of each other for a bit then," he said in a chipper tone. When he was asked about his methods he just shook his head, "Nothin' that interesting. I just kinda picked them out as I saw them on the listing and that was that. Kinda boring really."
He didn't admonish her for her excitement or even think her odd for it. If anything he was just as excited.

Both of her eyebrows were lifted with amusement at both Fallow and Bongani. It was entertaining to see the two interact—one serious and one not-so-serious. Dev found Bongani’s expressions to be particularly delightful to observe. Her lips spread into a smirk. “Ye sure abit that?” she questioned upon hearing his answer. “Ye dun look too good.” She let out another bark of laughter when the reaper released Fallow with a sudden urgency. “Mmm. Pleasure tae meet ye, Bongani.”
Her smile morphed into a small frown when she learned both of them would be in War the second week, leaving her alone. She was already beginning to think of them as friends. The cu sith decided to redirect her thoughts toward the positive side of things. All three of them would be in Conquest the first week. That was definitely uplifting. “Ah see ye two boils prefer fightin’ tae strategy-type things, huh.” The look in Fallow’s eyes as he smiled at her did not go unnoticed and she bared her canine fangs, ears flicking at the peculiar light in the bright green eyes. What kind of gleam was that? “Well, nae everyone can tak’ th’ same classes. There jist wouldn’ be enough room fur ‘at.”

Shenny noticed a curiously looking fellow reaper ghoul. Well, normally Shenny hated the guts out of reapers, but this ghoul was quite appealing... At least, she appeared to be intelligent and sophisticated, two basic things a lot of reapers actually lack. " Hello!", said Shenny with a polite smile. " Are you going for an exchange, too?"

Siddie smiled up at Sammy when she arrived, grateful for her ghoulfriend's presence. "This is it," she agreed, and tucked her head against Sammy's shoulder, just for a moment. It was still such a relief to see Sammy alive and well, after what they'd gone through. After what she'd heard Sammy had gone through. "I'm still scared, but I'm going."

Oh Jack no, she knew that voice.
Pink eyes widening, Xiu quickly slipped her eyephone into the safety of her obi before diving behind a particularly tall group of students. Lou...why was he here?! Surely he hadn't ended up signing up for this exchange program too! She peeked out from behind the students, noting that the vampire was scanning the auditorium as he called. Oh, good! He hadn't spotted her yet! Then if she just found a safe place--or even a friend--to duck behind...
And there, close by, was another group of students. Xiu's attention immediately zoned in on one of the students in particular--a face who she knew quite well--and she took a deep breath. On a count of three. One...two...
The petite baku darted out from her current hiding place, hoping against all odds that Lou wouldn't notice her as she suddenly ducked behind Yin. To the Mantodae, she lifted a finger to her lips, her expression nervous. "Shh, please let me hide behind you for a moment, Yin Cang! I...I'm trying to avoid someone."
