Soon he found a Prism Scale. Huh, he'd probably catch a Feebas now. Milotics were hard to come by these days. Anyways, he'd probably go for a Jolteon too, and in that case he'd need a Thunder Stone. Then a Flygon and some other team filler. It'd probably end up being a large Pokemon like Snorlax. After a Third if he found nothing. Done for now, he left, two valuable items in his possession now.,

Having had returned all his pokemon again to their pokeballs, Gage made a quick stop by Blyse to switch out his pokemon to the right team. Since Ralts was pretty much spoken for, he saw no point in raising it for someone else. He just hoped that Alyss would seriously find an extra Eevee to make the trade. Then he'd be set, game, match. Gage didn't realizing how goofy of a mood he really was in, and his laughter was bothering his big Houndour again. But it was back to the Ruins for training, fossil hunting, and to find more rare pokemon. Hopefully he'll find another Masterball, and Yamask was at his side again along with the big Dark Pokemon. Pocketing a Dusk Stone Yamask brought to him, disturbing the stone must have bothered a Golett that was guarding the area. Gage wasn't so sure about the rarity of that one. Uncommon? Rare? Super rare? But before he made up his mind, Houndour took it upon himself to protect his trainer, and used Beat Up on the golem. It wheezed and fell away. "Hmm ..." Gage wanted to discipline the Houndour, but that attack had been to only protect himself, so he said nothing. "Let's keep moving in that cave." They passed an unmoving Baltoy, but it seemed not to care that they were there. Houndour used Beat Up again, just knocking it out because he can. This time Gage laughed, but told the wolf off for jumping the gun. "You have to give me some time to decide to catch it or not. Baltoy ... common, but still. Got it, pooch?" This time when they came across another Golett, Gage was sure they were getting to something good. They weren't just protecting nothing, right? Gage wasn't too sure. Some pokemon were mental. "Eh, go ahead and get it, Dour." The Houdour snarled and used its Beat Up once more, knocking the fat golem right over. Gage yawned. Yamask still hadn't found anything very interesting instead of that stone. Yet he was sure he'd eventually find his own fossil. Onwards into the cave. Still nothing except darkness and boredom. "Yamask, where the hell are you taking us?" The ghost was silent but started to fret. Even as much as they searched, the Houndour using his nose, there was still nothing down here. Gage was wondering if this was nothing but a big fat waste of time. "Okay, ten more minutes of this and then back to the surface." Houndour backed him up with a low, dangerous growl. Yamask started to tear up, but they continued on. Gage picked up an Oval Stone they nearly passed by. Oh well, better than nothing, it would count for a pokeball. And after handing over one of his last three pokeballs to Alyss, he would rather have a grand total of three at all times to maximize his chances of catching pokemon. So at least now it wasn't totally worthless that they were exploring this cave. "At least it's not infested with Zubat." Gage laughed, and he motioned for them to turn around now that he had something at least. Yamask hesitated, but went with them, not wanting to be left behind. Nolan nodded, betting that the same guy, Gage, who had traded him the Litwick, was the one that tried to get Tsuki from Chael. That short description sounded the exact same. Walking for awhile in silence, Nolan was thinking about his own future, and before he knew it, they were walking near the Ruins. Traveling long distances was getting easier and easier on him, and Servine and Valor sure weren't struggling either. "Truthfully, I've had enough of school. But yeah, totally, stay in school and all. I just don't feel like my parents can really teach me anything more. My siblings and I are home schooled, so I guess that's another reason why I hate it. I really wish we lived in Saffron instead. Valor loved this game of seek-the-shiny-objects-for-Nolan! Horrible name, I know, but that's what it was called to the Spark cat. Valor bounded off, using his excellent eyesight to already bring back a beautiful Dawn Stone in his mouth, and then zipped off to find more. Nolan walked a few paces and kicked a small pebble. He wanted to ask again about Chael's dad, but it seemed like it was too personal. For that fact, he wasn't satisfied with Chael's answer about what he wanted to do after he finished the Etura circuit. Besides, Nolan didn't want to ruin the chipper mood of that afternoon. Servine was even in wonderful spirits, and she got into the search as well - doing her regular thing of bossing around Nolan's pokemon. Valor just ignored the Grass Snake, going where ever he felt like. Yet feeling for Servine, Nolan let out his Aron to play, and Servine soon was directing the small iron-eater as to how to act and how to play. Valor was just going everywhere, yet it seemed the Aron was listening, mostly. "Vin Svine ..." "Have you thought of going to one of the other Regions to challenge their gyms too? Or there's always researchers, experts, or well, normal jobs, if you go to a normal school." Post 258 Tsuki: 9 Chael raised an eyebrow. "I'm eleven. I have no idea what I actually want to do. In fact, I think the highlight of my year is going to a foreign country just to train Pokemon." he answered quite bluntly. What did he expect? Chael was way too serious for his own good, but he was still a kid. And Nolan was like half a decade older than him. "What about you?" he asked, jaw honest to goodness dropping. He picked up a smooth rock, a shell of an extinct fossil. He just found a fossil. Tsuki seemed to be running around just like the spark cat, mostly chasing his tail or bothering the lead Pokemon of Chael's team. Argos kept quite as usual, eyes protectively watching over his trainer. Fear merely took a mouse nap near the reptile. Chael found their quick friendship ironic, seeing as Argos was the huge, violent alligator and Fear was the level headed foot long mouse. Shrugging, Chael said "I'm planning to look for a girl and if they have an egg, you can have it." Tsuki perked his head up. Of course, Chael meant IF he caught a female, and IF Tsuki matured. Another Water Stone, but Nolan so didn't mind because he planned on buying a few TMs to help fix some moves his pokemon had - namely Cocoa's. Anything would be better than Dig. Thanking Valor, he rubbed the Luxio's ears, but then a shock made him flinch his hand back. Confused as to why the scratching stopped, Valor blinked up at Nolan and nudged his arm. Nolan hesitated and then carefully pet Valor again. "Heh, watch out, buddy. You almost electrocuted me. You sure are pretty charged up. We should find you some pokemon to battle, eh boy?" Valor didn't care so much about battling, purring, and then thinking he had enough for bringing in the Water Stone, he dashed off again to find one more item for today. He started chasing Tsuki too for that matter. Nolan paused when suddenly Chael's stopped, finding something. Peering over, at first Nolan didn't know what he was looking at. It was just a dirty rock with some funny bumps for all he knew, but that was probably why he hadn't found a fossil of his own yet. He was always looking in the wrong places. His eyebrows rose. "Well, I mean, sure, I'd love to raise a pokemon egg. I'm honored actually. I think ... I think I want to keep going with pokemon. Maybe visit another region, because legends always interested me, but I really want to be a Ranger now. That is, if I can do it. Um ... Chael, what is that you just found?"
