"All participants, please return to your sandcastle, the real test of the trial will begin soon!" There was a loud ringing noise as the spectators also dispersed, returning back to the spectator area. "Now, in a few minutes, the magic will happen, but first, a few rules."
The screen zoomed back to the Famine ambassador, the one in charge of explaining to participating teams earlier the sandcastle rules. "All of you have been tagged with a small souvenir, don't worry, you should be feeling its Fear effect soon. This is to make sure that you understand what it means to fight all elements while defending your own." The real surprise was when the ambassador had done such a thing. As he continued to talk, everything around the participants suddenly seemed to grow incredibly large: in fact, a mere shovel was the size of a large pumpkin chariot. The grains of sand looked more like small brick blocks: even the smallest shellfish loomed over them in size like a boulder.
All team members were now incredibly tiny. Their sandcastle was an honest to Jack fortress at their size. Even then, they could still hear the slow, booming voice of the ambassador. "Survive all the waves of onslaughts, defend your castle. The Trial has now begun!"
The loud cheer from the crowd nearly swept some participants off their feet.
OOC: TRIALS HAVE BEUN SPECTATORS- PLEASE RETURN BACK TO THE ORP HERE. You can see what all the groups are doing via the screens, so feel free to comment/ react on their behaviour, just like spectators! Cheer them on and wish them good luck! CONTESTANTS- PLEASE CLOSE YOUR THREAD SO THAT THERE ARE NO MORE VISITORS - CHECK INTO YOUR THREAD for the GM POST to see what exactly happens to you group! In addition check out the status effect below! THE GM POST IS DICTATED IN A "SHOUT" POST. Please read and respond to it accordingly. Don't forget to update the FIRST PAGE of your post with the status effect (below) from the announcement too and apply mechanics accordingly - YOU WILL NEED TO SURVIVE THREE GM POST WAVES. "Why, thank you," He even did a little bow before smirking at Lou. At the mention of sandcastles, he wondered briefly if it was worth it walking around under the sun before realizing that Amphi was probably going to want to visit some friends of hers - seeing how she had been texting all day - and that would also probably mean more people to meet, more people to tease.
And talk to. Of course.
"I'll tell you when you're older," He chuckled, wondering how Amphi would react to- Eh, another day, perhaps! If she got so flustered at the topic of their earlier conversation, he could only imagine that she might explode if he talked about anything more.
"Seems like we are all at an agreement, but sadly, time... Is not on our side," He grinned at the announcement before offering Amphi his arm to take, so that they may return to their seats, "Share our company, of course, what else do you want to share? Ah... Give your friends your luck, the trials are beginning."

[Entering!]The castle had been pretty impressive up close, but Poke didn't stay for too long. The team was quite busy with their own dynamics, and the red dragon she had spoken to seemed a little on edge (which was understandable; Dragons and sand castles did not mix, and she didn't feel like pissing of the resident team members by accidentally knocking it over. She was prone to breaking things, even when she wasn't in her natural form). Returning to the spectator stands, she wasn't surprised to see the vampire boil still there, and still trying to hook up with the resistant ghouls. Jacking hell, did he ever quit? With a roll of her eyes, she went back to watching the teams, and was surprised to see they were...gone? No. She squinted at the screen, and finally saw they had shrunk to a extremely small size. Now things were getting interesting! There was a army of crabs coming to attack each base, and it appeared each base in turn had a different way of fighting them. Watching them beat away the crabs was exciting, although she did notice some of them were fighting themselves more then they were fighting the crabs... Unable to help herself, poke took a deep breath, clasping her hands together... "GO XIU! I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT! KICK THOSE CRABS ASSES! NICE PUNCH THERE BLACK CAT! OY DRAGON DUDE, BBQ THOSE ********! BITCHSLAP THOSE CRABS WITH YOUR TENTACLES SQUID LADY!" It was obvious that she didn't know half of their names...but at least she was cheering them on?

Lumi nodded at Koa's response. There seemed to be alot of boils and ghouls here that weren't part of the competition. Blinking slightly at the word mindflyer she cocked her head to the side, she hadn't hear that before. But before being able to respond a loud ringing sounded. "Oh...I guess we can't really go see them now, but if you want to get out of this dreadful light we can go back over to the umbrellas I was sitting under earlier..."She twitched an ear and realized it was a little painful to do so. Not understanding the concept of sunburn she shrugged it off and turned to walk back to the safety of the umbrellas. As she slowly walked she grinned slightly, this boil was cute. Glancing over her shoulder slightly hoping he was watching she put a little more sway in her hips. It never hurt to show it off. "Coming?"

((Entering)) With the thing about to begin, Shun ushered Mitsu and Lafayette back to the shaded spot under the umbrella. Once they were back, he turned to see the teams shrinking. Well. That was... unexpected. Frowning somewhat at this, he saw the crabs coming on towards the various groups. So therein lied the true challenge. Sitting himself down, he just quietly watched in the meantime.

Well, that was not expected. Leaning up in his sandchair, he allowed a moments reprise for the old friends, folding his legs up so he sat up straight, watching the screens for action while the two caught up, his tail dragging across the sands, jaw set in curiousity as he wondered what kind of trials were set up for Tomo's friends - "Junko-Chan", and "Jove-kun" he believe she said.
Hearing them start remarking about visiting, an ear flinched, showing his ever-vigilant attention span, before the sound of the ringing, the announcer returning as they started the games. It was a shame, he was hoping to visit some of Tomo's friends, and to check out the integrity of the castles made.
Clearing his throat, he looked over to the reunited friends, glowing eyes smoldering in the sunlight, attempting to outglow the human light. "I think we took a little too much time. . ." he started, looking at the announcer. "But I'm sure they're aware that we're watching, right?" He reassured, looking to Tomoko and the canine.
"You're welcome to sit with us, though, if you'd like to make a sand chair and watch - I hope I won't be a bother." He offered, before looking to Tomo, hoping it was a good offer. He was a little uncomfortable, but he'd have to get used to it - there were many canine students - even Tomoko was one - so it was not like everyone needed to trigger his flight response.
"I'm Jack-B-Nimble by the way, but most people just call me Jack, or JackB, seeing as everyone uses "Jack" on a daily basis anyways."

"Well I still wish I'd have know you were here! Or coming. Whichever!" Then she could have gotten some things ready for him or something. "How long have you been here?" she asked, frowning lightly. If she'd been missing him for weeks she'd feel awful!
However, Jack pointed out that they'd taken a bit too long for their greetings and thus had missed out on seeing Junko-chan and Jove-kun's sandcastles. She looked completely horrified by this update. "Oh noooooooooooooo!" She'd wanted to tell them both to do a good job!
That was very sad.
The kitsune's ears drooped as she peeled herself off of Frost in the Storm. "You should sit with us, Frost-kun! Pleaaaassseeeeeeee?" Sparkle Kirakira.

ENTERING
After a quick view on the castles Shenny returned to the spectators area. And she made it right in time: the first wave just began, and teams were trying to defend their castles from the crabs. She silently thanked whoever was responsible for the screens, it was a lot easier to watch what's going on right now.
However, her mind was from the beach and sandcastles; she still repeated the conversation with Zar in her mind. Shenny always thought that something big happening provide with the opportunity to make your way on the top; it's much easier to become Somebody, when the situation around is unstable. What could this new enemy be? Shenny felt like she needs to be everywhere and absorb all the information she can not to miss the right time and the right place.

Kekoa nodded as his tail wagged furiously. His skin began to feel really warm from being under the sun. He sneezed lightly from some sand that covered the top of his nose from the pounce. "That'd be awesome!" He said as he followed after her until they were completely shaded. "This isn't so bad, but could be a bit cooler." He said as he dug in the sand to look for more 'shinies'.

King's small tail wag became a bit more prominent, though they had missed the chance to go visit the sand castles. "I have been here.. since scarentines? That odd couple's festival. I arrived just as it began, so, not very long no." He smiled, patting her head. "You have changed but you have not Tomo-chan, it is a bit refreshing and ah-" He looked over at Jack, cat. He visibly puffed out a bit as the boil spoke. "My.. apologies Jack-B-Nimble. Ah, Pardon me Tomo-chan" Removing her off of him, he bowed, ears pinned back. "I am Frost in the Storm, but some have taken to the name given to me by my old pack mates as 'King'. You may call me as what suits you. But-" He sniffed the air again. "I.. would like to sit with you if it is not troubling. Though I feel it honorable that I warn you. The scent of.. felines is difficult for me to ignore, but it is not out of malice more like-" He sighed. "Habit, one I must learn to break." Glancing back at Tomoko he frowned. He really couldn't say no to her with that look. He couldn't. "I will... try my hardest not to be a burden Jack-B-Nimble, though if you feel I am acting oddly, you may say so, I will take no offense."

((Entering)) After collecting Lafayette and making their way around the sandcastles, Mitsu finally found her way back to the shaded area of the spectators section. She took a seat next to Shun, cuddling the gator close despite how warm he felt. He was just too cute not to pet.

While sad that he had not gotten to get his cops into the demon's leg like they wanted them to, the students' shrinking had gotten him so off guard that by the time Lafayette had recovered he was in Mistu's lap alongside Shun in the audience. "Lame," he mumbled, wriggling a bit in the lycan's lap until he was comfortable once more. "You think if I eat him when he's small he'll stay bite-sized forever? Or would he break my stomach?" o3o "Orrrr . . . are crabs good? These smell way too salty. What d'you guys like to eat?"

Watching the screens, Shun let out a huff as he saw Titus be completely useless in his team's battle against the crab. Figures. Xiu, on the other hand, was doing very well. "Mitsu, can you text Xiu to finish off Titus while he's beaten?" he asked in a rather neutral tone. The Reaper soon glanced to Lafayette as he started to unleash a flurry of different questions. My, he was a curious one. "Unfortunately, you might explode if you attempt to eat him. As for crabs, they are pretty good usually. I eat a variety of different things."

Lumi raised an eye brow at him wondering if there might be something a little wrong with him but then shrugged as she let her toes slip in the sand. It was a lot cooler. She looked up at the screens, "Crabs? That's a little uneven...oh well never mind those are rather large crabs..."As she watched the students fend off the crabs she absent mindly said to no one in particular.
"I wonder if after they defeat the crabs they will give us spectators some.."

"It is okay, I am used to being a boon or a bane to others - I will make sure not to affect anything further, for the sake of us all." He stated to King, smiling softly, to show his sincerity. "The pleasure is all mine, Your Highness - King seems comfortable to me, if you're fine with it." He finished, sweeping his hand in front of him, showing his non-chalaunce.
Head cocked, Jack watched the screens carefully as the two friends chatted back and forth, his eyes settling on those he knew, and those who he was cheering on secretly - Mai, and the feline Riyo, who he had met recently. It was a little unravelling, watching them war . . .well . . . crab-kind.
Normally they would be fine, a stomp of a heel, but it was evident that they were struggling - even in victory.
