So it looked like being herself without fancy trickery was the way to go? Well- maybe some trickery coupled with something~ particularly monstrous. The next couple of flesh bags to cross her path would be what looked like a male and female. The female, slightly smaller, clutched onto the male's arm tightly. Removing her scarf and covering her head and face, she used the glow of her eyes within the shadows coupled with a hissing cackle. Truly, she just meant for the glow to have effect but was happy enough to chuckle as well.
That was really what made it. She peaked out from the darker side of the curtain, only allowing the glow to bee seen, and flickered her tail around the male's ankle. Shrieking, he flailed away from his companion and kicked at Levi's tail, trying to free himself. Just before it seemed like he would fall, she let go.
kekekekeke~
When the female realized what had just happened she also then shrieked and the two went flailing off.
That was some good stuff... good stuff. Grinning to herself, Levi basked in the rejuvenating feeling she gained from their woes.

With her rage somewhat pacified for a moment, Sura was suddenly at a loss for what exactly someone did to scare a human, watching Titus as he worked with some fascination. HUH.
That was...that was interesting, actually. Too bad Sura didn't actually know how to write, so for her to do anything would just..not happen, sadly. Ah well. The small scrape of her tail against the ground only earned a small passing glance, but nothing worth noting, rumbling a bit.

Sura took her small observation into account, however, as she suddenly turned and dug her claws into the wall, dragging them down it with a 'screeeeeeeeeeecccchhhfhhhhahds;fksdfhsdflasdf' sort of horrible noise, causing a rouse in one of the tiny fleshy humans.
She liked that.
She liked that a lot! She could have gotten used to that kind of response from things, even if she wasn't inclined to be a scarer in that sort of sense. It still gave her a delicious taste of fresh FEAR. Delightful~

THERE WERE HUMANS! NOT HUNTERY HUMANS! Israfel bobbed his head up and down as they came in. THIS WAS SO EXCITING. Or it was until he remembered how angry the one human had gotten at him. But they were not at an ocean right? No body could drown! At least he didn't hear or smell an ocean. Or a bathtub. People could drown in bathtubs. As the siren began to ponder the 'ethics' of scaring, humans just kept on walking by him.
Israfel didn't notice.

Wiggling to and from from behing the curtains, Israfel was still trying to think if the one boil would get mad at him for doing this. He'd been nice and shown him the way out after all. Even if he got shot with a couple arrows. He was quite nice for a hunter. As one got close Israfel realized that he did need to at least try. Grinning, the Siren looked at the human and gave a very enthusiastic "HI!"
They seemed to hear him but... not really.
This was hardddddd.

Puffing up, ethic aside, he would fail this class lecture thingy if he didn't scare anyone. He didn't really want to do that. The only problem was, Israfel had about as much scariness as a kitten. Not much if any at all. As a few more came by he greeted them again. "HI. Hi."
No fear. Wait- Whoops! Saying Hello wasn't very scary. The confused humans walked away and Israfel pouted. They very least they could have said hello back.

King was.... cat interested in cat scaring he really was, but cat he really never cat had been around anyone who cat was of feline cat nature. Not in a cat enclosed space like the room at cat least. He'd liked to chase cat small furry cat things back home and cats were on that list too, and in Kings defense he was trying really hard to not focus cat on how they smelled like cat something he could cat chase.. Oh Jack. Oh cat Jack. He wanted to chase. He wanted to chase another student. "Goht give me strength." This was not the time, or place to be trying to chase cats, if they smelled 'chase-able' or not While he was focused, that attention was snapped away as humans entered the room. He growled at the sudden interruption, though the human passing didn't seem to notice. Nerpin If only he could scare humans |D

The white wolfos was more or less frustrated. Humans. Humans and being loud and just- He wanted to scare them. He wanted to meet his own expectations. Another low growl, and the humans hardly noticed him at all. Jack did he- dis he have a bad approach? He had been told growling was always a surefire tactic. Ears pinned back as he stood silent in slight confusion.
Perhaps he was not as scary as he'd been lead to believe?

One more time. Humans were coming by again and the wolfos was determined to get a reaction. Even when he snapped his jaws towards them they were not scared. He felt like he'd just been slapped. Admonished. He hadn't scared them at all.

Roll 01: 81 - 90: You manage to scare one of the humans, and you try to spook them a little more when- suddenly a very bright flash. What on earth was that? You visibly recoil.
Vaith had to really concentrate. His noise markings, while a little more adept at controlling, took quite a bit of effort. It grabbed a human's ankle, forcing them to trip.
(good job, vaith, how tame are you?)
Unfortunately, as Vaith was about to do a "shishishi" laughing impression, a light blinded his vision, forcing him to inch back from his hiding spot under the bed. Damn, did one of them have a flashlight?

Humans. Actual humans in their kind-of-natural habitat. Malodore stared at them in amazement. True, it'd seen humans before (Hunters didn't really count, in its eyes) but it hadn't realized what they really were until after the fact...
The plague doctor was so fascinated that it outright forgot to do anything, other than feebly twitch the curtains around. So scary, but the scientific observation was worth the price. At least as far as it was concerned.

Va bene, now... focus... Malodore took a deep breath, for the calming effect, as the next group of humans approached. Enough with staring - it was time for proper experimentation now. It was a group of swaggering males, rather loud, but something in their loudness and deliberate proclamations of "Haha, I'm not scared, you p***y!" belied seemed... false.
As they went past the curtains, the plague doctor raked its claws through the cloth, silvery fingers visible under the shredding fabric. Several of the males recoiled, eyes widening as they started to swear - and Malodore felt it. Felt their FEAR...
It was delicious.
"Oh," it said, startled.

Emboldened (and slightly intoxicated) by its success, Malodore waited for the next hapless human. Perhaps an aural stimulus, this time? As a group of females went past, the plague doctor leaned forward slightly and hissed under its breath, making the curtain tremble just a little bit.
One of the females shied back for a moment, then glanced at the rest of her group and started to laugh. Any bit of FEAR fled at that sound. Ah well...

Under the bed, Anna had a lovely view of... feet. Human feet. Not the most exciting thing in the world, but at least they weren't looking right at her...

Anna's eyes widened as that FEAR shot through her, electric - and then Shibey was back next to her, smug as could be. < See? Plenty scary. >
