Jade had a cheerful expression on his face as he noticed how surprised Blaze was toward his question. He would push his glasses up the bridge of his nose. "I suppose you could say that I had the thought that you were going to lie about this 'force' you spoke of." He said. "If my assumption is correct, this 'force' may have something to do with these Sol Emeralds you mentioned to me earlier."

"And my other goal is to make you youngsters crazy before I reach 40."

Blaze huffed lightly and folded her arms. "Hmph. I hate to admit it, but your assumptions are correct. You certainly are a sharp one..." She was a bit annoyed at how quickly Jade seemed to put two and two together. She thought her mentions of the Sol Emeralds were too vague for anyone to make connections...

"In any case, I saw no need in lying. But likewise, I saw no necessity in telling all. After all, I had stated that this force could be misused." Before speaking her next statement, she looked around to make sure no one else was listening in, especially those knights that had led them into that room. All was clear, fortunately. "Wouldn't want another pursuer on my hands...but of course it would be unwise to make such accusatory remarks out loud toward His Majesty."

Flying around the town of Sybak, Niddler seemed as though he was searching for something, or perhaps someone. "Ren? Ioz? Tula?" He called out, though he saw no signs of his human comrades. "Where they have gone?" He asked himself. He didn't like the fact that he was wandering around a strange town without his friends around. What made it worse was that not only was he lost, but he also was getting hungry.

At first he wasn't aware of the stares he was getting from the locals as he landed near the inn. Wonder if there are any minga-melons here. He thought to himself before he finally glanced around at the locals. They seemed as though they've never seen something like him before, which was making him nervous. "You all never seen a monkeybird before?" He asked.

After a brief talk with the king, mostly on how he should behave that the redhead disregarded, Zelos made his way up to the Crimson Room. It was slow, since he didn't think there was any rush. Once outside the room, he stood for a few moments, listening to the two inside it. He got bored quickly, though, and knocked before opening it. "I'm sorry for the wait. So, you two seem tense. What in the name of Martel were you two talking about?" He didn't thoroughly enjoy traveling with tense, serious people, though he had managed with Regal. But, that was more than enough for him to handle. He'd have to find a way to loosen them up just a bit, otherwise he'd go insane in a week. "We should wait until tomorrow to get started. It's a long walk to the Grand Tethe'allan Bridge and to Mount Fuji, depending on which way you two feel we should go, and being caught outside at night isn't something I want to be caught doing."

Blaze nodded in agreement. "Indeed, even if they might not know what to do with it at first...they might gradually catch on." After saying her piece, Zelos came in and gave them a question. Still wary that he may potentially become one of the said "pursuers", she chose her words carefully and simply replied, "We were merely reflecting upon what had been said during our audience with the king."

After listening to the Chosen's suggestions on how to proceed, her ears twitched in curiosity. "I see..." Her brow creased in thought as she formed her next statement in her mind. "...There was a mysterious streak that appeared in the sky earlier. I was hoping to explore the area in the direction that it went in. If I recall correctly, you were also planning the same, weren't you, Jade?"



((Said streak was headed in the direction of the Great Tree's location in Tethe'alla, which would happen to be in the mountains near Sybak. Just in case you needed to know that if you're going to imply Zelos had also seen it, Jewel.))





Kratos and Azura had left the restaurant some moments ago and were now walking down the streets. The former had originally intended to leave the city after allowing his companion her meal, but started to think it would be wise to check up on the research facilities in case they might have new information. As they were approaching the inn's area, they noticed people murmuring and repeatedly glancing either curiously or cautiously at an odd, bright red creature.

Azura blinked upon catching sight of it herself. "...What is that and what is it doing inside the town?"

"Clearly a species not native to this world. What is it doing, indeed...." Wary that it might be a wild animal poised to attack if provoked, Kratos decided to investigate the scene, stepping closer with the Dark Elf following behind.

The two arrived in time to hear the creature speak to the crowd around it. Kratos motioned for the people around to move away. "Please step back. It might become agitated when crowded in on."

The fact that it spoke fascinated Azura. "Whoa, it talks! 'Monkeybird', huh? I certainly haven't seen one of these on Gaia either. Hey there, are you lost?"

Zelos listened to them and sighed. "We won't be able to get too close. It looked like it landed pretty close to the World Tree, so whatever it was, we won't get a good look at it. I wonder if Yuan saw it." The redhead wasn't too thrilled about talking to Yuan. Sure, he was a cool guy, but he was also a bit of a pessimist. Zelos noticed that the most optimistic of Yuan, Kratos, and Mithos was the twisted blonde boy, and it kind of annoyed him. Shaking his head, he looked at them. "If you want to leave right away, then that's fine. We'll have to use a rhearid....I only have one, so you two can use it. I'll just use my wings. Good thing I keep my Cruxis Crystal at home."

Richter looked at Regal as he spoke, thinking his plan was only logical. "Two groups of three then. I'll take Sybak, since you've taken Meltokio. We should figure out our teams and then set out in the morning. I'm afraid I've exhausted most of my mana in battle, and I need to replenish." He looked at the five, not quite sure who he'd be with. Personally, he would rather go alone, but leaving Regal with so much people would be rude. Richter had to play his part in this crisis as everyone else had to.

Devlin looked at the two as they spoke. "Well, judging by Regal's statement about his status being an advantage in Meltokio, I'm thinking Meltokio is more of some sort of noble capitol. So, Richter must be going to the city of researchers. In that case, I'll go with Regal; researchers might want to dissect me because I have wings or something." With that, he went over to Regal's side, still carrying Gregrai.
