Was...Herryk blushing? Oh no she had embarrassed him too. What should she do now? Wait...wasn't Herryk undead? Was that even possible? The wheels tried to turn but the hamster that kept them going had decided on a coffee break and had left Mitsu to her own devices.
As Herryk did Mitsu leaned forward on the table since they were sharing a secret. A loud secret. "Oh, something strange?" Mitsu whispered just as loudly, her eyes going wide. Why she felt the need to imitate Herryk's volume of whisper one would never know. "I will be sure to stay clear of the corner. Do you think it was set up as a trap?"

Still covered in frosting and chocolate cake, Enzo had been storming through the room for any sign of that blue-haired bozo. He had to be somewhere! There was no way those bright garish colors would blend into the more morose backdrop of the room. HORSERADDISH! He glanced among the tables, fists clenched and ready to go before he spotted a tuft of blue under a fedora over at table five. Oh, there you are you lousy cheap-shot-makin'.... The Boss was happy to stay out of it- the space between the tables was pretty narrow. Let Enzo make his own friends. Yes. He was a good bass. Also there were spookies over here. The Reaper stormed up to the table, grabbing the clown's hat to throw it onto the table, narrowly missing the candle. "YOU THINK YOU'RE FUNNY?"

The question had not seemed odd in the slightest until Shine had it asked of her. She pursed her lips in thought, claws tapping out a steady tak tak tak against the chair. "Um...I...you're right." She laughed quietly, embarrassed. "It...it's hard to describe...but normal. For me too." Having latched onto a more external standard of "normal" that even she didn't fit, the ghoul had some difficulty applying the word to herself, but...yes. Normal sounded all right. "Sometimes...I get hungry and...it...um, won't stop....sometimes I'm...sad. And...most of the time...I don't feel as...as smart. As the...others." It sounded so silly when she spoke it aloud. "That...makes me feel better. No, oh, um, not because...you're not good at...at something, but...we can not be good...together." She hoped she'd made a proper save on that one. "It looks so... easy...in books and movies...do you like those...too?"

The things she listed off didn't sound horribly out of normal. It didn't seem like something necessarily a part of being an undead or zombie. Then again, he didn't really know. "I'm sure there are many others who experience those things," he mused before moving on to answer her question, "I watch movies now and then, but I don't really read."His extreme dyslexia tended to get in the way of the latter. "I'm guessing you like to do both. What sorts of things do you like to read or watch if that is the case?"

"I think you've finally got the right clown!" Pickles said. The card he tossed over had leafy-looking stamps all over it, but there were plenty of blank slots. He added one too! STAMPED. And then he found a marker from his pocket and drew a big smiley face on the stamp. He should probably add another stamp in the box, so the two stamps could be friends. He bet if he colored the bottom of the stamp rainbow colors...
Enzo knocked his hat off his head, and Pickles stared at him like a clown in headlights. There was frosting everywhere.
Pickles bust out giggling. He doubled over, completely helpless.

Enzo's face flushed behind the freckles, contorting into a look of indignant rage. "NOW LISTEN, WISEGUY..." He snarled, dragging the clown up to his feet while rearing back a fist.

TG wondered if he would ever seen Enzo again, and when he did, he assumed he would look as smug as ever. Frosting had never came into the picture when he thought of meeting him again, but it was a GREAT improvement. The imp was right alongside the clown. NOW the hiding made sense. "Unholy Jack! What the hell happened to you, Enzo?" He pointed, laughing without any sense of hiding it. Well, he knew what had happened, but he was interested in the story.

His reassurance elicited a crooked, hopeful smile from Shine. Maybe she should talk to her classmates more often...maybe she'd feel less out-of-place. And, most importantly, she might end up with more friends than she could count on one hand! It seemed so unbelievable, but she felt a rare, bubbling confidence, urging her to keep talking, prodding her to try this again. "You're...probably right." She seemed a little more relaxed now, uncurling herself to sit more properly. "I'm...um, the opposite. Some movies...with loud noises...and lights, and..." With a shudder, she shook her head. "Books...aren't loud. I just...I...read anything happy...and stories for...scarelings. Sometimes." She was careful to add that last bit. Letting everyone know that she hadn't gotten too old for that stuff might be bad. "Do...you have lots of friends?"

While Enzo messed with Pickles, TG reached over to pluck the card from him, and then the boil's own card. This was probably going to get messy fast, and he didn't mean from the frosting.
Still snickering, TG stamped the clown's card and set it over for him. If this was going to get broken up, the imp wanted his card unless it get lost in some scuffle.

Shun was getting the impression that Shine was a little on the skittish side. Well hopefully, he won't do anything to startle the witch tonight. That would probably just lead to a number of problems, which wouldn't be very good altogether. "I see. And I don't. There are very few people who I would consider friends."It took a bit for him to reach that point. With some, he wasn't entirely certain if he could call them a friend. It was easier for him to figure out who was a 'comrade in arms' type of thing rather than a 'friend'. "What about you?"

"Eep!" Pickles said, wriggling and groping for his hat as Enzo held him aloft. "You got the wrong-" he suddenly noticed the fist, and all Enzo had in his hands was an empty jacket.
Pickles grabbed his hat as he slid under the table.

Blade Kuroda I noticed we were running out of time for stamping but we can keep going for as long as we can! <33 The ghoul began wiggling excitedly in her seat as he answered her. Everyone else she'd met seemed to have so many friends already, but Shun understood! "Well, um....maybe, sometime...we can be friends..." Reaching for the stamp, she fumbled with it for a few seconds, struggling to hold the tiny thing with her clumsy hands. She pressed it to a card and slid it across the table to Shun, not wanting a repeat of her last stamp exchange. He didn't seem to be the type to stamp her forehead, but...well. Things were never really certain. "...that would make me...um, really...happy. I only have..." One, two, three, four taps to the tabletop. "Four...four good ones." Thoughtfully, she added, "...or three...and a ghoulfriend? A...a new ghoulfriend. Do you...have one?"
