Em curled up happily when the warm hug extended, but she looked no less happy when he pulled away. Her lips met his for the kiss, biting his lip before letting him go. The nickname made her shiver, and she curled into a ball, looking far cuter than Em ever meant to look. He just had that effect on her - on all the girls, really. It was why she couldn't understand Heidi. Of course you wanted to be around Julio. He was perfection, and the world deserved to know it. "See you later, Julito." She called out the door as he left, and she uncurled herself to wait for Cecil patiently.

The door creaked open and she felt a familiar weight settle against her shoulder. Aki didn't have to turn around to know who it was; she'd long since gotten used to Nico's habits. The girl couldn't resist flashing a smug grin at Flair. After all, she had been right and there was nothing more satisfying than rubbing salt into wounds, especially Flair's wounds. "It's mission time." She said, digging around in her pockets for her phone. "Did you get one too?" Though her attention was mostly focused on the still-drowsy Nico, she made a quick survey of the surrounding group. Flair, a moon hunter, a blushing hunter who just introduced herself as Meghan. Aki nodded slightly in acknowledgement before turning her head to talk to the mass of hair on her shoulder formally known as Nico. "Let's go get something to eat. It'll wake you up. Lasagna today." hope I didn't forget anyone /m

"Yeah... Well.... Bye." Now Piglet was doing a sort of hustle towards his room, the door slamming shut loudly behind him.
"MOTHER ******** DOUCHE d**k POOP LICKING s**t FACED ASSHAT!" He shouted once the door was locked, the veins in his neck popping out like little red daisies.
"NO. I will NOT make friends with him!"
The boy slammed his backpack down on the bed and marched over to the desk in the corner, angrily twiddling his thumbs after his butt was firmly planted in the seat. It took him a minute or two of some quiet alone time before his breathing went back to normal, and there was a calm look in his brown eyes. Yes. Everything was fine. He just needed to take his mind off this.
There wasn't much time to waste. The big mission was tomorrow... Which meant he needed to make time for some escapism.
The Dungeon Master's Guide was retrieved from his backpack, and the boy began to read. "I'm thinking we should make you an elf druid this time, Simon."
<... I don't have to be a girl again, do I?>
"... O-only if you want to."
"... Fine then."

"Oye, you little dickwipe!" Clint bellowed as he stopped at Piglet's door. "The walls are THIN! If you're gonna scream like a little b***h, do it into your pillow!" Then he walked on to find himself an empty room.

[Entering]"So what was it you were showing me?" Marsh had managed to put away most of the bandages in his pockets by the time he and Lowe reached the dorms. That was what a long coat with pockets was good for; you always had places to put things. The letter was still tucked into its pocket in the lining of the coat; he'd gotten that earlier when he returned to his room.

Flair mustered an amused laugh. “Research isn’t for everyone, I suppose.” She had familiarized herself with laboratories and their equipment since early high school. The blond woman could still recall her days holed up in her room studying or pouring chemicals into a test tube. Nico was a slacker, but she was the exact opposite—she was an overachiever. “A part of me wishes for more time in the labs. It’s like a second home to me.”
The smug grin from Aki did not faze the Life hunter. While the girl enjoyed rubbing salt into Flair’s wounds there usually wasn’t a wound to rub any salt into. Rather, she flashed Aki a disapproving frown at her immature behavior. She looked over at Megan and Gear, but mostly Megan. Unfortunately she wasn’t too acquainted with the younger moon hunter. “Pardon her behavior. We’re not on very good terms.” Perhaps she was putting it too lightly.
“I’m not particularly hungry, but if Nico or anyone else here is…” Her voice trailed off as she looked at everyone else.

"Oh, this." Lowe reached into one of his pockets as they made it into the dorms, almost like he'd forgotten he had something already. He pulled out a bracelet made entirely of pull tabs and beads, the links woven together in an intricate style. "Because we are friends, here."
Also, the photos. "I also have lots of photos."
CREEPY MUCH?

"Huh. That's pretty cool." It looked like Lowe had spent a fair amount of time on the bracelet, anyway. Was he expected to wear it immediately? Miyako told him not to be a jerk and just put the bracelet on. He shrugged one shoulder and did so. "Thanks," he said to Lowe, and peered at the pictures, his eyebrows elevating. "Wow. When'd you take all these?" And did the subjects of them know they'd been photographed? ... not like he didn't count as pretty creepy himself, what with surveillance cameras and lab equipment.

"Over a period of time. I am making a mural, just in case." Lowe's words were soft and he had a pleased look on his face that Marsh put the bracelet on. He hadn't expected him to at all so it was a nice feeling. Most of the Sun Hunters he'd given things to tossed his stuff into the trash - so seeing it worn was a decent change. "I want to leave a memory for those who come after me."
It was a silly dream, srsly.

"That's kind of cool." It wasn't like either of them didn't know the average lifespan of an active-duty Hunter; Marsh was coming up on four years since he'd first arrived at the island, and sometimes - sometimes he just felt way more tired than a nineteen-year-old guy should ever feel. "Just in case." At least Lowe was a Fear hunter, like himself; maybe his new friend wouldn't die quickly and horribly right in front of him. This wasn't a good subject to be thinking about the day before a mission. Marsh had his letter; Lowe was making a mural. "Where are you going to put it?"

"Dunno yet. Somewhere fun, so whoever finds it can be surprised."
Meaning? He'd place it somewhere and forget all about it forever and ever. He'd done many things like that over the years, having been brought here and forgot here and whatever else happened. Maybe in the coming years someone would find one of his necklaces and wear it? Was his stuff able to be biodegradable? Who the hell knew (not Lowe)?
"Should we go look for Em soon?"

"Need help with putting the photos up? There's a maintenance corridor in the back of the labs that never gets used for anything," Marsh suggested. He produced a sharpie from one of his pockets and held it up. "Messages for future generations of the young, dumb, and crazy." "I've got all my stuff set up," he answered, patting his pockets. Anything that needed actual packing, he'd packed when he got back to the dorm in the first place, and he didn't have runic weapons to charge, so his preparations had consisted of replacing what he'd used up of what he carried with him and stowing away plenty of bandages. "Just killing time now."

Every single Hunter in the vicinity would suddenly hear their cell phones start buzzing noisily. When they looked at them, all they would see was a simple message:It was probably time to really, get as much rest as they could.
