Lucas watched as Alex drank the alcohol, and frowned; he had always stayed away from alcohol and drugs, and even now that he could consume such things without any negative effects, he still stuck to his straight-edge lifestyle.
However, he looked to C.J. and shrugged. "Dare, I suppose," he said.

C.J. produced a hot sauce bottle and placed it in front of him.
"I dare ya t' take a swig of this and not get a glass of water for ten minutes." the fellow drawled. It wasn't just any ordinary hot sauce. Arell saw the jar and smirked.
"Scotch bonnet sauce?" Arell asked.
"Yup." C.J. replied.

Lucas shrugged, and took a swig. Immediately, he felt his insides burning, but his healing factor (and perfect human durability even if he didn't have the healing factor) kept him from feeling truly serious pain. It still made him very thirsty, but he could wait.
"Yikes... This is hot..." Lucas said, grimacing at the bottle and smacking his lips a bit. Already his body was working, dulling the pain slowly, and it would probably be all gone within, at the least, three minutes.

C.J. smirked. "Y'know, ya already passed half the folks Arell and I would try that on back on the navy base." he said with a grin. "Ya got guts, pal."

Joker's face had fallen as he watched Sapph and C.J.'s kiss go on and on. He had gone into HIS own little world, too, but his wasn't as fun as theirs. HIS was filled with a great deal of hate for a single woman. He snapped out of it, and also got a smirk back, when Rosie threw the candy at the Cajun's head, though. He laughed at Lucas' obvious discomfort from the hot sauce. And laughed. And laughed. It helped bring him back out of his funk and into what was going on.

Rosie looked up at Joker as he began laughing and smiled a bit.
Sapphire on the other hand frowned. The laughter reminding her just who all was in the room still.

C.C. blinked and looked over at Lucas. "Alright, Dare me. While keeping in mind the kind of temperament I have." he replied. If there was anything with water or dogs, he would make the boy regret it. Very much so.

Lucas shrugged. "Okay..." he said. Then he began to think. What could he dare C.C. to do that wouldn't anger him?
After a few moments, he shrugged. "I got nothin', man." he said.

The cat grinned from ear to ear. "Excellent. I'll just go ahead with my turn then, if you don't mind." he said, then paused a moment in thought. "And as a little thank you for not making me do what you could have..."
A small black cloud of smoke swirled around Luca's hand, and an envelope materialized. "There's a little take home prize." he said with a grin. Then he looked around the room. Herm. He didn't want to risk being called on again by someone who would do something to upset him. He needed a bit of protection.
"Rosie, truth or dare?" he said.
Rosie smiled at finally being called on. "Okay, dare I guess."
"Alright. I bet you can't pet me enough to make me fall asleep." he replied. If he could be cute and cuddly and get on the kid's good side, then chances were no one was going to do anything mean to him.
Rosie grinned. "That's easy." she replied, then walked over to the couch and picked the lanky black cat up. Then she plopped down on the couch and cuddled him on her lap as he began to purr.
She smiled wider, then looked around the room. Her turn now, so.......who to pick?
"Truth or dare?" she asked, smiling at Joker.

C.J. could feel some bad vibes between Sapph and Joker. He calmly put a protective arm around Sapph to make sure she was okay. Arell surprisingly remained pretty calm as he hung out.
"No problem, man." he said to Lucas with a nod. Not many people outside of Arell and Dundee had the guts to down that stuff. Then again, the three of them made it on the army base whenever their dads were in the same town.

Lucas nodded to Arell, and opened the envelope.
A free dinner for two at a restaurant of your choosing... Lucas thought, reading the little slip of paper. He glanced to Alex and grinned to himself a bit, sliding the paper into one of his pockets.

Rosie smiled and looked down at the floor thoughtfully. Trying hard to think of a good dare.
Then....slowly, her smile faded.
She looked back up at Joker a little hesitantly and tried to give him a little smile again. "Well.....if.....it was just a misunderstanding, I dare you to....try to patch things up with Mommy." she replied.
