(( 1: Hello, person, look at your maze, now back to me, now back at your maze, now back to me. Sadly, you're alone in this maze, but if you stopped getting separated from your group and started keeping a close eye on everyone, you could be as awesome as me. Look down, back up, where are you? You're still in the maze being watched by the GM running this room. What's in your hand, back at me. I have it, it's the luck you need to get through this maze to proceed on. Look again, the luck is now a minipet. Anything is possible when you roll a one in the middle of a dice game. You need to reroll a 1d10 and quote Marushii with your minis SN. ))
Mai continued to get no where. For some reason she thought it'd be a good idea to navigate the maze by walking backwards. It didn't get her out, but at least she felt good about trying new things.

(( 5, 6: You made it! You continue on to the final section, Section 4. ))
For a while, Mai totally zoned out. She was slowly walking backwards aimlessly, bumping into walls and adjusting her path accordingly when she did. All of a sudden she felt the strangest sensation, as if she'd walked through a veil of spider webs. She stood facing a mirror. Which was odd, because she had been walking backwards just a few seconds ago with a long hallway stretching out in front of her.
Wait just a jacking second. Did she actually walk through one of the mirrors a moment ago??
"Figures," she sighed to herself. Mai rubbed her temples in irritation. But she also couldn't help but feel a small amount of elation because she had to be close to the exit now.

((7: You have just about HAD it with this maze! Maybe you're angry. Maybe you're filled with despair. No matter what you feel, you either accidentally or on purpose give the wall a good shove. It falls over. Then it knocks down the mirror-wall after that, and the one after that, and the one after that until you have a clear path to the exit. Lucky break! You run across the fallen mirrors and reach the exit. Behind you, the mirrors spring back up into place. ))
At this point, Mai was absolutely fed up with the never ending maze. The ghoul had developed a severe eye twitch and her wisps were starting to avoid her. Probably due to her uncharacteristically foul mood. She decided that she simply didn't have the patience left to wander around pointlessly and hope to blunder into the exit.
Mai walked a few feet before finding a wall that looked promising. She rolled her shoulders a few times, did some stretches, and cracked her knuckles. Then, with a growl for effect, she kicked forward with as much strength as she could muster. She was rewarded with a loud *crack!* as the mirror-wall shuddered and began to fall backwards. The falling mirror smashed into the wall behind it, sending it down as well. Mai watched, mesmerized, as walls continued to fall in a domino fashion before her. And then she saw it. That had to be the exit! Triumph welled up in her chest as she rushed forward in a mad dash for escape. Glass crunched beneath her feet as she half ran, half floated over the wreckage. She could hear a strange noise behind her and she glanced back to see the walls repairing themselves one by one.
But she was clear! Mai was free! She could have wept. Instead, she collapsed onto the ground and fell asleep.

He was really really really starting to hate that damn table. How many times now had he slammed his leg into it? The bandages on his left leg were rather red now cuts and nicks. In the mirrors behind him his reflection laughed at him. ((33 - 1 = 32)) Quote: Section 2: 1d8 1, 2: After walking around for three minutes, you realize that you're right back where you started. Roll again. 3, 8: While navigating the mirror maze, you manage to trip over a mirror-table and nearly drop a mirror-vase filled with mirror-flowers. You klutz! Take -1 HP damage. Then reroll. 4, 5: Success! That wasn't too bad. You proceed on to Section 3. 6: You come across a mirror-toilet, and decide to spend a little while there. Mirror epiphany toilet! It doesn't seem to have gotten you any further along, though.. 7: How did you...? Somehow, you made it back to Section 1. Please scroll up and roll a 1d6 and follow the listings there.

He turned a corner and damn near dropped to his knees with relief. An exit! There was an exit! "Jack almighty, yes!" He was rejoicing in his head as he darted forward and through it, but very soon after slowed to a stop. Dark eyes going wide before narrowing at the continued decor of the mirror maze. So not out, but this at least didn't look like the bit he'd started in. At least it was progress. He gave an annoyed sigh and continued onward. In the mirrors beside him his reflection was snickering. Seiji did his best to ignore it, but it seemed as though this particular copy of himself was following him. Being as this was an entirely new bit of maze, Seiji started it as he did the last couple sections. He wandered around aimlessly. Attention split between the twists and turns he was following and the image of himself striding along jovially beside him, whistling. He couldn't hear the tune, which was probably for the better. It meant he hadn't quite gone mad yet.
Yet..
If he remained stuck in this maze for much longer though madness was going to start looking really appealing.

((Working along previous rolls before mine. Mai's first is 7, so following her, then following her again, the next post up.))
There was a vague, nagging sense that someone was watching him, and not just the sniggering reflection of himself in the mirror beside him. Frowning darkly, he cast a weary glance over his shoulder, then gave a start as Mai stared back at him for all of a second before walking off swiftly down one of the mirrored corridors. "Mai? Wait!" It hadn't registered with him that she'd been inside the mirror, they were full length, and he hadn't seen much of anyone else for a while now save for himself. He didn't realize she was illusion, so of course he took off after her.
"Mai, slow down!" When the hell had that drowsy ghoul gotten so fast?! Was it the house that was making her more alert, more focused? It made sense, the place was dangerous. Still, it was surprising to the boil, he didn't think the wisp had that sort of speed in her, casual had always been her pace before.
Blindly he followed after the trailing white of her hair, never fast enough to catch up, but certainly not slow enough to lose her completely. At one point he even caught up enough to catch a glimpse of her lingering at the end of a long hall, but by the time he'd gone even half way down himself she was already moving. "Damnit Mai! Would you slow your roll!"
Left, right, back and forth. He ran after her reflection, unaware that she even was a reflection, until he turned a corner to find a door. "Mai?" Had she gone through it? She must have. He didn't linger, and instead sped his pace, surging forward and through the door into the next section of the maze. He expected to find Mai on the other side, but she was no where to be seen. No hint of glow nor whisp of hair disappearing around a corner. Nothing. "What the Jack?" She was just gone, and once again he was alone. Just him, his reflection, and the images of himself maiming the people he cared for. The latter at least he'd grown to ignore. His reflection was laughing at him again, pointed teeth glittering in the diffuse light.
"Haha," Seiji snapped back, glowering at it before pressing onward. How many damn sections did this maze have?

Quote: 12: You know what's awesome about mirrors? Mirrors break. Sure there's the whole "Seven Years Bad Luck" thing associated with them, but you know what? Stuff that. You pick up a mirror-object and throw it at a mirror-wall and proceed with the destruction. You smash your way out of the maze, unaware that the maze is repairing itself behind you. You're out, but at what cost? If the next room requires you to roll a dice, you will AUTO FAIL that roll. If the next room does NOT require a dice roll, then you get away. Scott free. Lucky you. To say Seiji was fed up with this field trip already would have been accurate, to say he was fed up with the maze specifically would have been an understatement. He was through with the maniacal, cackling double of himself laughing along silently beside him, doubly through with reliving every dark nightmare he'd experienced in the last half year, and certainly finished with being on his own. He wanted to get back to his team, back to Junko. Who knows what sort of luck they'd been having, or hell, where they were. Maybe they hadn't all gone into the maze, maybe only he and Aurian? No.. He'd seen Junko, and he'd Seen Mai. At least he thought he had.. Maybe not? His shoulder's sagged, glowing eyes showing the strain the damn maze was having on him. He wanted out. Not just out soon, or out eventually, but out, Now. A somewhat desperate look around him showed a side table and vase, both made of mirror, and Seiji suddenly had a wonderfully violent idea. Grabbing up the vase he hurled it hard as he could against the closest mirror, shattering the both of them into a million tiny pieces that fell with the sound of soft chimes against the ground. It was incredibly satisfying. The table was next, and he wielded that thing like a mace. Shattering mirror after mirror as she work though the maze in a wonderfully linear path. Screw searching for the exit, he'd make his own. He didn't notice the mending of the mirrors in his wake, but even if he had he wouldn't have cared. He kept going, and eventually he burst through a mirror at the wall of the maze, stumbling free of the labyrinth at last and happily tossing away the remains of the table he'd been using to make his way through. There were cuts on his palms from the sharp edges, but he didn't ******** care, he was free. Not only free, but with his group! He saw them, not far off, and made directly for them at a relieved jog. Junko would find her cube rather hastily tugged from her grip and set aside as she was swept up into strong arms, the coolness of his cheek pressing into the heat of her own. He hadn't yet noticed that Aurian wasn't among them.

There was no sign of Seiji. Aurian couldn't hear anything from the direction she'd just came from. After several minutes of waiting, she finally decided that Seiji must have found another exit. She'd have to continue on alone. She wandered the maze, back to taking her 'always to the left' turns. Before she knew it, she'd moved on to a vaguely-different-looking section. Still mirrors everywhere, of course, but Aurian felt like she was making progress. She beamed. Quote: Section 3: 1d10 1: Hello, person, look at your maze, now back to me, now back at your maze, now back to me. So, so lost. So reroll and try again! 5, 6: You made it! You continue on to the final section, Section 4. 7: You're lost. So, so very lost. What do you do? Easy: you follow someone. Pick a random group member, don't look at their roll. Treat what they got, what you got. Reroll or proceed as needed. 8: No. No. Hell no. You did not just go back to Section 1. But you totally did. Except you somehow navigated it and Section 2, lucky you. Reroll 1d10 and try again. 9, 10: Yep. Still lost. Reroll the 1d10.

Continuing on, Aurian wondered if the others had made it out yet. Most likely. She couldn't imagine that she would be the first to solve this maze. And it would be nice to not have to wait alone once she made it out. ... Of course, she hoped she wouldn't be the last out. She didn't want everyone else waiting on her. Aurian blushed and played with her bangs. Ah well, no sense worrying about that now. First she had to conquer this maze! She rounded a corner and spied a door. "Oh thank Jack!" Aurian cried. She made a mad dash for it. On the other side, Junko, Mai and Seiji were all waiting. "Er, sorry I'm late?" she offered with a sheepish smile. Quote: Section 4: 1d12
1: Uggggh this maze is so trippy! First you move and it's like. WOW! So many other-reflecections of you move too! It's so disorienting! You need to roll again as a result.
2: Navigating the maze would be easier if you stopped trying to walk INTO the mirrors. Take -1 HP damage and reroll.
3: When you see it, you can't believe your eyes. There's... There's a mirror-couch. A couch made out of mirrors. It's not comfortable to sit on, but it's sturdy enough to stand on. You use it as a boost to peer over the side of the mirror-walls and look around. There's the exit! You cheating cheater: you navigate your way to the exit.
4: You have just about HAD it with this maze! Maybe you're angry. Maybe you're filled with despair. No matter what you feel, you either accidentally or on purpose give the wall a good shove. It falls over. Then it knocks down the mirror-wall after that, and the one after that, and the one after that until you have a clear path to the exit. It's too bad the walls sprung back up before you could run across them! Try again.
5: Navigating the maze would be easier if you paid more attention to where you were. You manage to hurt yourself for -1 damage. Reroll.
6: Through much trial and error, you manage to find the exit. Horray! Now all you need to do is wait at the exit for the rest of your group...
7: You have just about HAD it with this maze!
8: Feeling lucky, you take random twists and turns... and get nowhere fast. Roll again.
9: When you see it, you can't believe your eyes. There's... There's a mirror-couch. A couch made out of mirrors. It's not comfortable to sit on, but it's sturdy enough to stand on. You use it as a boost to peer over the side of the mirror-walls and look around. There's the exit! You abuse this knowledge to reach the exit, except the exit isn't where you remembered it to be. In fact, you turned yourself around. Go back to Section 3 and reroll a 1d10.
10: You are so, so lost. But that's okay! You manage to find someone else in your group who's also lost and in Section 4. Through teamwork, the magic of friendship, and dumb luck the pair of you manage to make it to the end! Pick someone who is in Section 4 at the same time as you. Both of you exit the maze. You must pick someone at the exact time you roll a 10; you may not wait for another team member to get into section 4. If no one else is in your section, proceed by yourself to the exit.
11: You navigate this section of the mirror-room with ease. Why is everyone else having so much trouble? Your section of the maze is a large empty mirror-chamber. It feels like whoever built the maze forgot to add twists and turns to this area: it's an open room with nothing in your way. You practically waltz to the exit.
12: You know what's awesome about mirrors? Mirrors break. Sure there's the whole "Seven Years Bad Luck" thing associated with them, but you know what? Stuff that. Junko was sitting quietly atop her new friend The Cube, humming to herself and running her fingers through her hair. She was with Vaith now. Things were somewhat okay. It..it was going to be okay. But if Vaith was here, maybe..maybe she really had seen the others? But that was impossible. She'd seen Seiji fall! Again! Junko winced at the memory and continued to play with her hair for some semblance of comfort. The fun thing about ghosts is they fly!
"Seiji doesn't fly..."
Oh. Well...sorry...good luck to you then! The Cube said quickly, coughing a bit. Junko frowned, playing more intensely with her hair until Mai suddenly arrived. Mai! Was it really he--yup. It was really her. She grinned as the ghoul fell asleep instantly, her hair playing calming down just slightly. Enough that she wasn't as risk of pulling her own hair out, anymore. But then there came the echo of smashing mirror and Junko looked up again. What she saw made her heart stop and her eyes widen.
Seiji.
Junko's jaw dropped just slightly as she watched Seiji stumble out from inside the maze, hands trembling and breath quickening. H..he was alive! Well, sort of. Alive as a ghost could get. He...he was okay! Mostly! She didn't even get a chance to stand before he picked her up and hugged her within an inch of her life, but she didn't care, she wriggled until her arms were free to curl around his neck, nuzzling her cheek against his cool face. "S-SEIJI! Seijiiiiiiiiii! SeijiSeijiSeijiSeijiSeeeeeiiiiijiiiiiiiiiii!" Junko cried, pepping his face with kisses. He was here! He was okay! He was real! "I'msorryI'msorryI'msorryI'msorryI'msosorryyyy!" She buried her face against his neck, her shoulders shaking as she tried desperately not to cry in front of everyone.
Caaaaaaaan you feeeeeeeeel the loooooooove tonight~. Sang The Cube, quite enjoying this happy reunion of friends and lovers.

To answer Junko's question, they were all real and they were all here. Vaith watched Mai collapse onto the ground, approaching her and Aurian. He held out a hand to highfive Aurian, giving her an easy grin. Seiji and Juno didnt need his typical wine and cheese joke .. Not that it didn't already hang in the air as awkwardly as a misplaced balloon.
"Welcome back from the mirror maze of death. I'm surprised you didn't drive yourself a little insane--- Junko was. Sorta."
Thats right Junko, Vaith wasn't afraid to say that you were practically off your rockers with that silent cube. REALLY OFF.
"Mai .. Are you seriously sleeping?" The back of Vaith's hand, his knuckles tapped softly against Mai's soft cheek, red eyes widening. Even with her perpetual habit of sleeping in any and all places, she was sleeping in the haunted house? What if the hipoo came back to attack?
She might be able to sleep through that too.
