━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Team ↠ AlphaxxLocation ↠ Test Thread The magnetokinetic listened intently to Leion's explanation. It seemed like it would be fun, however the nagging in the back of Eli's mind and unease of thinking of going to such an event only reminded him of his isolated sheltered life. He wasn't sure if he wanted to go or not.
"Hellions? Sounds about right for the self proclaimed 'sun goddess'." Eli said. It wasn't that he didn't like her, she just didn't like her narcissism, which yet again fit perfectly with her name.
Leion slid the sandwich over to Eli, and a roar errupted from his empty stomach. Eli could only put his hand to his stomach and look down slightly, averting eye contact out of embarrassment. Picking it up and taking a whiff only tortured his stomach more, and the want for food consumed him, as he consumed the sandwich. And in a matter of seconds the sandwich was gone.
It didn't contend with the entirety of his hunger, but it curbed it for now. "So, out of curiosity, what exactly is your power?" He asked the omega, wiping a couple of crumbs off the corner of his mouth. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Again, Great use of the © OOC ↠ Sorry for the late response, was busy this past weekend.

Daylia Astralloxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Team Omegaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Location: Cafeteria.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Daylia couldn’t help but chuckle at Dimitri’s response. He seemed a little too excited to be going to prom with her. She found it to be slightly awkward, but shrugged it off, allowing her eyes to go back to him. "I hope it’ll be fun." She said with a gentle smile. Another thought hit her then. "What is your take on dancing?" She dreaded the answer to say the least. She had no idea how to dance, and her father had always told her she had no rhythm.
A small sigh escaped her lips as Dimitri talked about Daylia going in sweat pants. "Yeah, I wish it were that simple. I don’t want to make you look bad, and I think Narcissa would set me on fire if I didn’t dress up." She polished off her jello then, tossing the empty cup and spoon back onto her tray. She leaned back in her chair as she allowed her foot to drop to the ground. "I’m going to have to go to her for a dress, else I’ll end up with something out of style from a second hand store and still get set on fire."
It was true, Narcissa hadn’t done anything to Daylia yet, but of course the read head didn’t want to push it. She had heard too many stories about people being hurt by her for smaller things. She cracked her neck, idly wondering about the dress choices there were. Daylia knew nothing about fashion, which made this even harder on the girl.
"And yeah, I would love for that to be a backup. Just in case something goes wrong, or we get bored." Daylia said with a smile. After all, she already had a list of movies in her head to watch, though of course she didn’t want it to come down to that. Hopefully she could find it in her to be a decent companion to hang out with. She tilted her head for a moment before asking her next question to him. "Is there a plan for beforehand? So I know to be ready. It wouldn’t be nice to keep you waiting."
Daylia had always hated those girls that kept men waiting because they were not ready. How hard was it to be ready on time when you should know how long it takes to get ready? Then there were the girls that would make the guys wait just because they wanted to. It made no sense what so ever. But to each their own she supposed. Her eyes went back to her com, wondering if she should warn Cissa, or just show up. She decided on the second. ""

ALPHAS: Looking forward to the dance? not so much Location: dorm room and cafeteria Hoshi rolled over and groaned as the sunlight shone into her eyes. With a sigh, she hauled herself out of bed and into the shower room down the hall. Her parents had nearly pulled her out of school when the regstration act had gone through. it had taken nearly a week of pleading to be aloud to stay. she'd pointed out that the school was much better equiped to protect her-it was the only reason she'd been left in the school.
Hoshi of course, did not mention the radation posioning from the mall. Returning to her room, she dressed in the first clothes her hands landed on and twisted her hair into a long french braid, then coated her lashes with her darkest mascara and eyeliner. After coating her lips with a dark red gloss, Hoshi scurried down to the caferteria to find food.
quietly eating, she listened with growing apperhension to the other teens make plans for prom. she sighed audibly. she hoped it wasn't manditory-she'd much rather stay in the room and play LOTR online then watch all the teen drama assosaited with high school dances.Besides- going stag wasn't exactly her idea of a good time. She straightened up when a girl from the Omega team joked about her leader setting her on fire- it sounded like the dance was mandatory. Hoshi leaned backwards in her chair towards the table the Omega girl was at. "um, Daylia, is it? Is the dance mandatory?" She asked shyly.

R@√℮ +~+ Ѻмεgα- Conversing with the Alpha Location: Kitchen to Room 261 Narcissa's Dorm "I'm the type that hangs out by the wall and watches people make fools of themselves," Leion stated coolly as Eli made short work of the sandwich, about the way one would expect someone who had been starved for a week to eat. After mowing the sandwich down like a blade of grass, Eli asked about Leion's powers, and Leion always loved show and tell, "That's right you've never really seen my power, since you were in the middle of a race. . . basically," he held out his hand and made an Omegas red sphere in his palm that floated about an inch above his skin as his Comm went off audibly- “Omega’s that are in need of formal wear—Report to my dorm.” came Narcissa's unmistakeable 'everybody in here now' voice. "And that concludes the explanation, it's not smart to keep her waiting." Leion said unceremoniously putting the dirty dishes he made in the sink "Come find me later and I'll elaborate on my power" he said as he rushed out of the kitchen and towards the Girl Dorm rooms, stopping at room 261 Narcissa and Kerrigan's room, of course not being the type of person to just barge into someone's room Leion knocked on the door and waited patiently for an answer Leion + James ~ Evans Oh look another small post from me, I blame a four page research paper

OMEGA: Heading outside for a run. Gideon wasn't in the mood to continue the debate it was just going to be circles. They both were to stubborn to change their view. His mind always housed this animal it wasn't something he had to learn to accept. For him it was always apart of him he couldn't think of a time it wasn't. Granted his training commenced the moment they could. He never knew what it was really like to be anything more then the animal the weapon, till he made his way to Xavier's. "One day it could happen who knows." Gideon said simply not to argue the point just commenting on how one day his body just might shift. It was highly unlikely given his genetics unlike the majority had been played with to garner the specific results that Hydra had wanted. He knew his file was littered with different things. Though there was a portion that was only mentioned but referred to another couple file numbers. One was around the process for his creation and another was to that of the woman the egg was implanted in. Both of which were kept strictly at another facility he wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be with Madame Hydra personally. Other then results of tests, notes from the scientists, the main thing in the file was a list of missions and their outcomes. The last of which would of been his mission to Genosha that resulted in the catastrophe in New York and the later retaliation and devastation of Genosha. The reason Hydra had wanted this just to keep SHIELD out of their hair for a bit. As for why they needed this he had no clue that information wasn't needed in completing his mission. While he completed his task it was after which he had escaped from Hydra. A few years back Hydra had learned of his whereabouts after an encounter with Mr. Sinister. In their attempt to retrieve him Madame Hydra thought revealing his past would get the X kids to turn him over gladly. In truth Gideon had really expected it to happen. Especially after Evie one of his few friends at the time attacked him viciously. The one he expected to hate him most after that exchange was Bella as Gideon before hand would always change the subject when asked of his past. He really didn't think anyone could blame him on that move. Who wants to answer with oh I killed this person, that person, I killed this one after pretending to date his daughter, this one I killed after pretending to be a little lost kid. Oh and best of all you know that whole New York disaster and the Genosha one that we were just helping with the rebuilding of? Yeah I was the catalyst for all of that. Seriously if he had, Bella would of run screaming or attempted to shred him with her powers. Nor would he of blamed her for it. "I know that. I have honestly been waiting for one to actually use their head when dealing with me." He said truthfully sure he healed and that made him hard to take down. But there where plenty of ways to end him for good. Though one of the best ways is also the hardest to get a hold of. Then again even so Gideon was still a force to be reconned with, even without a power that could level city blocks with a single blow. Given Kat's reaction she didn't seem to agree that there were places where Mutants hunt humans as there are bound to be a couple cultures that viewed mutants as gods. Granted that was most likely only in secluded tribes and such but still out there none the less. If cunning enough and packed the right powers or could fake them, one could probably even attempt to pass themselves off as a deity. Though the location and culture would greatly impact the success of such an action. "I have never been in a pack. So pack mentality isn't really there for me." He said honestly Gideon was raised alone. From as early as he could remember he was treated as an object a tool. One could equate it to having a living robot that needed to be trained through action and not lines of programing. "Nor can I help who you are." Gideon replied it seemed to be one thing other then Madame Hydra was a crazy b***h that they agreed on simply. The change in atmosphere around the shifter while probably unnoticeable by others was by Gideon. The girl clearly didn't enjoy the talk of the leader b***h of Hydra. Not that he could blame her. Who would enjoy talk of someone who had been the root cause to any and all suffering in their life. Regardless of the emotions it may bring out. He looked at Kat as she made the assumption that Bella was the one that changed him after he had mentioned her. Not that it wasn't true it was mostly because of his relationship with the leader of the Alpha's that he isn't still the same from his Hydra days. A reply on that particular question didn't need an answer. Nor did he need to verbally threaten her that if she did anything to Bella not that she would or had a reason to, never the less he didn't need to say that if she did Kat would no longer have to fear Hydra. Madame Hydra no doubt would have words with the sound manipulator if she knew it was her that changed her creation from being just a weapon. He ignored the prison comment since Kat clearly knew that if she decided she could leave this place at any moment. In fact he was actually turning to walk out of the room when she spoke again. Gideon had really wanted to go find Bella. It had been a month and he went along with her dodging him for enough. He wondered if Bella thought she was actually keeping away and that he hadn't been able to locate her. But that would be silly since she knew as well as any that he didn't need sound to find someone. The Alpha leaders scent is more then familiar to him that even if she tried to mask it with other artificial scents it would never work, even if Gideon wasn't as well trained in tracking as he is. "For a little bit." Even if Kat saw him as Alpha he knew the main reason she asked him to run with her, was that it gave her protection. If Hydra knew she was here then well they would be on the look out and wary of Gideon or to them X-20. It was times like these that made him wonder why he even bothered to attempt to distance himself from his past. It seemed at every turn it was being thrown in his face. Gideon took his shirt off and tossed it in the dirty towel bin along with the towel that had been draped on his shoulders. "Lets go then." He said walking out of the room and towards the elevator to head up to the ground floor. It was then that his comm came to life and the Omega leaders voice was clearly heard. He didn't pay it any mind. Cissa could get upset with him if she wanted about him not going to her room for prom attire. As it stood chances where he wouldn't be attending. Granted till Kat asked him to run he was going to go ask Bella. He was still going to ask the Alpha leader but if the last month where she wanted nothing to do with him then odd were she wouldn't want to be his date to prom even though he knew she would likely be at prom.

Name: Jacen Reilly [Kraken] Team: Omega Location: Lounge -> Cissa’s Dorm Jacen switched his eyeline from the Sketch to the TV at various intervals. Orchid’s talent was impressive, she was able to fix small details that Jacen would never have caught had he been drawing the red-headed warrior. Narcissa’s call blaring over multiple comms, Jacen stood up with only a sigh. “Chilly drawing Orchid, but our leader beckons…” He said, gesturing to his ratty Baja Jacket and cargo shorts, "And as you can see, I'm not exactly swimming with formal wear." He concluded, giving an informal wave goodbye to those in the room before hopping out of the Lounge. ’Senior Year Prom, dressed by Narcissa...’ He recalled the last Prom he went to he’d wore a terribly old tuxedo, probably no newer than the 60s, shipped by his father. He hadn’t seen the difference or reason to care, but he had grown slightly more knowledgeable of the outside world since then. Slightly. Jacen’s trek up to their fearless leader’s room proved uneventful by his standards, as he crawled along the ceiling to the familiar ‘plopplopping’ tune. He’d figured awhile ago that it was possible to make his wall-crawling silent, but that involved going slower and putting thought into it, which just wasn’t worth it at this time. “Hey Leion.” He said, dropping down next to his friend, “Is Cissa making us wait in line now?” Any other person’s room, and Jacen would’ve walked in. But, Jacen had learned early on while at the Academy to never enter the Sun Goddess' room unless Narcissa opened the door herself. Especially after a certain incident ‘early on.’ Amazing how you couldn’t even see that scorch mark anymore.

Kerrigan Schwartz Codename: Knoxx Team: Omega Location: Lounge Current Thoughts: Pop-u-lar There was a sense of relief about her features when Orchid confirmed that she was not going to draw the redhead in a negative light. At least the implication of that statement was that the two got along for the time being - that was a load off her mind. Kerrigan continued to smile when Roland seemed glad that she took his invitation, again reaffirming that it was just as friends and acknowledging that it was a bit random for him to ask her in the first place. At least she knew she wasn't crazy for missing something obvious, her thoughts then turning to what exactly she was going to wear to this event. Now that she had someone asking her to accompany him, the pressure was a little higher for her to take it seriously and find a knockout dress. Thank god for Cissa. As he offered her his cell phone number, explaining that they could figure out the details later, she accepted it with a nod, momentarily forgetting that she wasn't supposed to move as much. Almost immediately, the realization struck her that she was still supposed to be playing model, resuming her previous post as best she could with an apologetic glance towards Orchid. He then departed with a pleasant, wave, Kerrigan smiling. " See you later. We'll talk soon," she said simply, clearing her throat and turning back to those still in attendance. It was hard to hide the soft shade of pink that had settled across her normally porcelain cheeks, still a little thrown by everything that had just happened. But in a good way - maybe she wasn't as invisible as she thought she was to the opposite sex. Her attention turned back to Orchid when the chick with the cool hair offered her condolences with a smirk, expressing that she found getting dates to be more difficult. Kerrigan had known about the girl's sexuality before hand - after all, she'd read her file, and news travelled fast around this school if anything happened even slightly out of the norm. She had absolutely no problem with it - Orchid was cool whether she liked p***s or v****a. " Aww, don't worry Orchid. You'll find somebody if you really want to. And you can always dance with me there - we might not be on the same team in that sense, but apparently that doesn't matter when a group of girls get on the dance floor, right?" It wasn't too much longer before a familiar form entered the room out of the corner of her eye, the redhead grinning when she heard Lillian's voice. The news that she'd been transferred to the Alphas came as a bit of a blow, since she had always found that the two of them worked well together, but there was nothing she could say about it to change the situation. It appeared that news of her date travelled fast around here. " I had no idea my personal life was gossip-worthy around here. How flattering," she started, releasing a soft chuckle. Everyone seemed to say that he was the lucky one that she had said yes, Kerrigan's lips forming into another slightly awkward smile. " Oh, I'm sure he will. If he turns out to be a pig, I won't need Cissa to step in, whether I'm wearing a dress and heels or not." As soon as the words left her mouth, she immediately realized the other connotation of what she said, a soft sigh escaping her. Man, she really needed to get back in the habit of thinking before she spoke. Maybe it was just the fact that she was in a situation she had never dealt with before. Kerrigan was, of all things, a creature of habit, cool as a cucumber in situations she'd dealt with a hundred times. Dating was not one of those situations, even if the date was just as friends with a fellow teammate. Lillian made her way over to her new teammates, inviting Kerri to join her when she was done being a model for the day. Of course, the redhead responded in the affirmative, never one to turn down spending time with a friends. Especially a friend that she was no longer going to see as much of. Cissa's voice sounded over the comm, calling for those that needed formal wear to meet up with her for a shopping trip. Orchid said that she was going to make her own dress, Kerrigan smiling slightly when she then asked what the rest of them were going to wear. " Well, I have a dress I bought on impulse the last time Cissa and I went shopping. Seems like as good a time to wear it as any other," she said, seeming to be mostly talking to herself than the rest of those in the room. Her brow furrowed slightly when she tried to imagine what she had looked like in the dress when she tried it on - it wasn't normally something she would have picked out for herself, so it was hard to imagine in her head. Hopefully it looked as good on her as she remembered - otherwise, she was going to be in for a very rude awakening. She called out a farewell to Jacen as he took his leave to accompany the quest for formal wear, clearing her throat as she returned her thoughts to the task at hand. " So…how's that drawing coming?"

XXXXXX Location: Academy - Cafeteria XXXXXX Thinking: Wicked Through and Through
Narcissa knew what her spats with the size shifter often looked like…Especially to the casual observer. Normally she rallied against such things—Ever one to keep her true personal life out of the mouths of others… Let them speculate, let them think she’d played complacent whore to a demon… That she didn’t really bother her. There were only a few people who knew what had actually happened to her in Limbo…And she would do her best to keep it hat way. The hatred and general scorn of the masses was nothing but a gentle, refreshing breeze. The fact that she couldn’t quite figure Aren out… Couldn’t tell whether or not he was particularly serious, or simply playing a game that only he knew the rules to made her avoid the subject—Or blow it off with a condescending chuckle.
He was her subordinate—As all Omega’s were. A team member. The end.
At least, that was what she told herself. Repeatedly. It was amusing…For now. But eventually he would grow tired of her constant refusal—And just like any other male, he would move on. She expected him to give up…It was only a matter of time.
As far as Roland went, he was smart not to ask—Not to comment. Once her ire was touched upon, there were very few ways to bring her back to some kind of normalcy… And unfortunately for the perceptive man sitting near, one of them had just walked right out the door.
Smooth, silvery amusement bubbled from the sun goddess when Roland quoted Rhett Butler. Most wouldn’t know that she had a forbidden love for certain old movies... She’d hated Scarlett with a passion—But it was part of the reason she enjoyed it. If given the choice, in front of others, she would usually pick out something more modern…But the classic movies, went right along with the books she tended to gravitate towards. There was a copy of Wuthering Heights in her dorm that was so worn, the binding was breaking.
No one would believe that of course—Except Kerrigan, or someone that had been in their shared dorm…The list wasn’t long. She was never seen in public with anything but the newest Cosmo.
“You know, the ‘frankly’ part never existed in the book.”, she pointed out, her voice half distracted as she read some of the responses to her bid. It was all a matter now, of which designer could have it done and shipped by this coming weekend. With such short notice, not every detail could be personalized…But the Red Queen would do her best. “And he didn’t say it while storming out…It's all bloody out of context.”
She smirked suddenly, realizing that she had once again avoided the damnable Prom Committee… All the while, still indirectly ‘helping’ just enough to keep Emma off her back. She could imagine the woman scowling now….Ah, the little things.
Her eyes flickered over Paladin…Silently gauging his expression—Catching his eyes sweeping down her figure. It wasn’t hard to fill in the blanks on where his thought processes had swiftly taken him. She returned the assessment for a moment when he rose from the table, her head tilting to one side. Azure eyes flickered over him with the seriousness of an appraiser checking the authenticity of a newly discovered Monet. Kerrigan….Unless she was drugged, would likely end up sending him packing at the end of the night… But it was a little sad to see his hopes crushed so early. “You make it sound like you’ve never looked in the mirror, love.”
“I can think of at least a dozen women…And at least a few men who wouldn’t at all mind la petite mort at your expense...”, Narcissa returned smoothly, with the clinical expertise of a doctor, or practitioner…Somewhere in there, was a compliment. After having played den mother to a pair of French twins that constantly got into trouble… She knew the language very well. Omega’s were Omega’s for a reason… And usually it was because of a certain temperament…Certain ability, past, or personality flaws that landed them on the dark side… She had of course, read Roland’s file… But there were some things that had been blacked out. That was unusual.
And she would find out what—Likely sooner, than later.
Again, laughter spilled from her as she turned to walk away—Roland’s comment about preparing for prom in the nude causing her to look back over her shoulder… “I wouldn’t discount it…Though I wouldn’t count on the other party being me. You’re cute…But not nearly that lucky.”
“That being said—Feel free to pick your tongue up off the floor at any time…” Her gaze seemed to chill as her lips curved into a delicate smirk—The almost gentle light disappearing from her eyes…It was almost painful, to watch it die. Suddenly glacier orbs very clearly expressed that no matter the situation…Be it on the field, or off, she was the predator—He the prey. No matter how dangerous he thought he was…No matter how much of an animal he seemed to identify himself with… She was Satan wearing white. “You’re going to tell me eventually, you know.”
“I know you’re working with Jean… Rest assured, your visits are confidential … But I need to know if –something- in them is going to cause you to compromise yourself—Or others on the field.”, she trailed off, her expression softening again... She moved from being a lazy tigress to a furious lion almost instantaneously. Almost as if one was simply removing and replacing a mask. “And to be honest—I’m curious.”
“You don’t look through me as often as you used to.”
Roland wasn’t the only perceptive person in the room.
**
Narcissa threw her phone on her bed and moved over to her desk—Opening the orange Mac that she was so fond of. The email alert was spazzing out, a cheerful little chime. Leaving it open, she sauntered over to the large vanity and pulled from it a long nylon measuring tape, and a small, monogrammed note book… Mentally she went over the measurements she would need. The torso would be the most important. No one wanted a vest that was too tight. “Off with the shirt, love.”
“Leave your pants, if it makes you more comfortable. I’ll have to do a little guessing…But I’m fairly good at it.”, she intoned to Roland, as if she hadn’t just brought up something potentially uncomfortable in the cafeteria. Roland didn’t have anything she hadn’t seen before… But she knew some men were squeamish about taking clothing off in front of a woman that they weren’t either dating or doing.
Men were such babies.
Pulling her hair back, she twisted it into a high bun to keep it out of her way. Normally she would have had someone come in and take measurements themselves…But there simply wasn’t time. Narcissa had ordered enough custom clothing to know what to do with her eyes closed. Holding the tape measurer up to Roland, she measured across the shoulders first—A sudden smirk crossing her blood colored lips as she winked, “So…Going to tell me your shoe size? Or would you like me to guess?”
Hearing a knock at the door, she called out—“Come in!”
“You might as well leave the door open…”, She hadn’t bothered to try and feel who was on the other side of the door… Afterall, she had just put out a page to all of her team… And since the lot of them were fashion challenged—And they weren’t allowed off campus without Senior X-Men escort… She expected most of them to pass through. Having their Prom-Gear delivered would be far more convenient.
Glancing towards the door when it opened, she nodded her head at Jacen and Leion… Of course, they would knock. Then again…They’d been around the Academy long enough to know that barging into her room unannounced could very well be the kiss of death. Literally.
“Have it a seat…”, she gestured towards one of the beds, or the expensive love seat along the far wall. “This won’t take long... Start thinking of the colors you’d prefer… Be warned, that if I find it foul or offensive to my eyes—I may pull rank and veto it.”

I am temperamental And I have imperfections And I am emotional I am unpredictable, I am naked I am vulnerable, I am a woman Code Name: Siren Team: Alpha Location: Academy - Side Porch Ability: Sound Manipulation Singing: Nothing Give me something to sing about... █║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║ Isabella’s eyes seem to unfocus for a moment… She could hear her name being bandied about in the distance… And it led her to briefly follow the conversation between Aurelie and Bianca… When she realized there was nothing wrong, and they were moreso looking for prom dresses, a brief, indulgent smile crossed her lips. Tugging out her phone, she sent a brief text to Bianca… ‘You and Aurelie are welcome to raid my closets.’
Closing the phone shortly after, she tucked it back into her skirt pocket—Her hands falling behind herself, locking in a way above her hips that spoke of older times. Christian seemed observant…Too observant for his own good. She could feel him watching, and while it didn’t exactly bother her…She was afraid of what he might see. Having spent year upon year of dealing with men with standoffish natures…Christian’s didn’t bother her in the slightest. She knew that he was listening.
He laughed at her lame joke, and she appreciated it. Either he was a good actor, or it wasn’t quite as awful as she’d initially thought. Unlike Christian….Isabella knew well how very furious Narcissa would be. Being seen with an Alpha was bad enough… But being seen with the leader of the pack? That was damn near criminal. The brunette could only hope that she was too busy playing dress up with her own team to come looking…
Again, she felt Christian watching her—And was careful to lock her emotions down. It was hard for her. She wore her heart on her sleeve, and always had… She was easily hurt, easily figured out, because she didn’t hide…She didn’t play games. She simply was who she was… At least until recently.
Recently, it felt like she had to hide.
Isa smiled briefly, ebony lashes fluttering against tanned cheeks for a moment as her eyes closed… It felt good to sit down, and listen to the world around her…The wind brought so many things. Secrets, and silence. She held onto the cool chain, emerald orbs making an appearance when she felt him help keep the swing rocking. She wasn’t upset with his statements… They were his opinions, how could she fault him that?
She just…Couldn’t abide idealism the way she used to. Not everything was black and white—And rarely was the world what she expected it to be.
A comfortable silence passed between them, and when the Omega started speaking again… Her eyes turned towards him, filled with a silent understanding… A soft, sad sigh escaped her at the talk of nightmares…“I thought not.”
Her own certainly hadn’t faded.
“They’ll pass…”, she assured him gently, struck by her usual want to reassure those she was with. Whether he was on another team or not…He was still… Something of a friend, but more importantly, he seemed to be hurting. “They don’t usually go away completely…But the frequency lessens and lessens…”
“At least—“
‘At least until something new takes it’s place…’, Isabella finished in her head, mentally chiding herself for even thinking that it was appropriate to say. It wouldn’t be reassuring to Christian to hear that eventually, nightmares were common place…Dreams were for those young enough, or naïve enough, to still believe in the inherent goodness in mankind. “At least… That’s what happens with me.”
She was startled, when he apologized for potentially upsetting her—And she shook her head, reaching reflexively to touch his shoulder. “It wasn’t you.”
“A normal life was all I wanted for the longest time… I always wanted to teach music to kindergarteners… Or even… Seriously consider dance, and teach a few instruments on the side…”, she reminisced for a moment, a small, bittersweet smile touching her lips before it faded… She’d had such big dreams. Singing professionally… Moving away from the Academy...”But…They were all just pipe dreams.”
“No human wants a mutant teaching their child.”
Since this Registration Act had passed…Everyone would know what they were. Employers would see that…Likely, it would be the first question on the application form. Mutants didn’t have the same rights as humans yet…And the way it looked, was pretty grim. Bella didn’t think they ever would.
Christian looked towards her, and spoke…Perhaps something she needed to hear—But no one else had thought to say. Her head inclined lightly as she looked at her lap, a small smile touching her. He believed in her, and he’d barely seen her in action. If anything, he’d seen her screw up more often than not. “It’s worth alot.”
“And…”, she trailed off, her head tilting as she gave him a real smile…Not just the fake, unfortunate one’s she’d been passing around for the past few weeks. “For what it’s worth…You have mine.”

Omega, Location: Narcissa's Room Let the measurements commence Hearing Narcissa talk about how the classic quote from Gone with the Wind was out of context made him smile a bit on the inside. If she was one to notice little things, his eyes would have flickered a bit with a bit of surprise. He had a love and hatred for his eyes. They were of a color that was unnaturally beautiful, but they also betrayed his attempts at hiding things. Especially his own amusement of hearing someone like his team leader, this "queen b***h" of sorts, appeared to have her own degree of straying from the stereotype. He couldn't criticize, after all, how many former pit fighters wind up taking on cooking? It just made him appreciate the fact that she was human. To a point. Jokes aside, her assurance that he was quite a catch among the student population did nothing to assure himself of any desire, or possible chance, or attempting to bed his date, " I have looked at myself in the mirror, and all I see is a scarred up piece of meat. I have a hard time imagining how this is attractive, but then again I'm a bit of a cynic with that kind of thing." that was partly true, the reality is with the experiences of that sort usually were never one to occur perfectly, without any complications. Besides, with his ******** up head he'd rather not mess it up further by adding sexual encounters just yet. At least until after some more time with Dr. Grey. With a devilish grin he playfully let his tongue dance out the words, "Who said anything about luck being involved?" he had to be coy with that. Besides she was laughing a bit. What better way to get in on her good side than to make her laugh a bit more. She seemed to be in a pleasant mood enough to be able to go back and forth with this kind of banter. However, as soon as he caught any intonation of annoyance, any sign that he was crossing a line, he'd stop. He wasn't out there to do something stupid. Considering who he was talking with at the time. "You act as if I, or any other male regardless of an X-Gene, can control that kind of thing to begin with." he quipped, which was quite frankly a true enough statement. The truth is, Narcissa was unbelievably beautiful. If one could call a blonde a bombshell, Narcissa was a solar flare. She beat out most women, even without any form of makeup. But that did not stop the fact that she was, quite the force of nature in personality. Her forceful nature regarding her desire to know Roland's story was one that he had to admit was impressive. She had without question read his file, the one that he himself requested to be censored. Despite his lack of caring towards what everyone thinks, he'd rather not have questions from his boss, or Emma about "Noble". The disparate persona in his mind had long since remained dormant. Also, any reference to Sonja was automatically removed, and any of the pictures he had were in his possession. Those, along with the original file containing all the uncensored and un-redacted content, were kept in a locked file cabinet in an undisclosed location within the mansion. He, along with Dr. Grey, and Dr. McCoy were the only ones that knew of the location. Any time new information came along that would potentially need to be looked over, the three of them would get together in Dr. Grey's office and look it over. People had their secrets. And some secrets that he had were too sensitive for anyone else to know. Emma knew of this file, but kindly refused to probe further. The less people who knew the better for now. "There's a reason why I have a few things kept close to the chest. Much like how you have some things you want no one to be aware of. Besides, if something comes up it won't be something I can talk about. It will just be seen in the field." he said that with a bit of defiance. Despite her stance as an "Alpha", the animal term not the team, he wasn't about to let her know everything at that. She was his team leader, not his queen. Though he had to note her perceptive nature as well. That may have to be disclosed to her at some point. Entering her room, he was surprised at the first thing he saw in the room. An old book, sitting there by her desk that was very well worn. He had to let a small smile out as he collected further evidence of her humanity. "No worries, I'm not one to be squeamish. I actually had to fight practically naked before this." he said this as he was taking off his shirt. And now, she would see the body underneath. To some, it could be described as statuesque, as a chiseled work of art. Were it not covered in scars, they'd probably be right. His body was a testament to the human body's ability to heal itself. Nearly across his entire torso he had scars from blades, claws, fire, electricity, acid, practically everything he could imagine. One large scar across his chest dominated the landscape of flesh, one that was prominent along his body and his mind. It was a scar that he received the day Sonja died, the one that he will never forget. The sections that were not as bad were where he had tattoos, across his forearms and his back. How they weren't riddled with scars was beyond him. As he undid his pants, he answered her question regarding shoe size, "11 and a half, though guessing would have been entertaining." he chuckled as he heard the door open. Leion and Jacen walked in, and the now nearly nude Roland kinda had to roll with it. "Welcome to the party, apparently clothing is optional."Thank god he was wearing boxers.

Alpha: In the lounge meeting new peoples. Lillian smiled at Kerrigan's response about her social life. "But of course it is about a smokin' hot redhead. What in that isn't gossip worthy." Lillian replied easily. Kerri was one of her closest friends along with Cissa. Beyond that sure she could get along with pretty much anyone, but given her habit of locking herself away in the lab leaves something to be desired in the social side of things. It was funny that her now again team leader Bella was one of her first friends at the academy. She still counted the songstress among her not long list of people that are friends. Which surprisingly Cissa never seemed to be bothered by, probably something do to her being much closer with the sun goddess. And from being around Cissa she counted Aren in the friend category as well. The native was quite amusing at times. She couldn't help but smirk mischievously at the redheads next comment in reply to hers about Cissa roasting Roland like a baked potato. "Of that I have no doubt." Lillian said not wanting to embarrass Kerri by going with the dirty thoughts that danced in her mind. Blowing a kiss to Kerri as she continued modeling before sauntering over to meet and greet with her new teammates. She was pleased that Kerri might be joining her when the modeling was done. After intruding on the two Alpha girls Lillian kept the smile on her face. She was quite generally in a good mood and had no idea what was causing it. Not that she was complaining who would complain of being in a good mood? And the two girls introduced themselves she had remembered their names right. But now there is a formal introduction to go with it. They both seemed to be genuinely happy even with the barging over an all. That meant there was a good chance Lillian would be able to get along with them as her time on the Alpha's progressed. "It's a pleasure ladies." She said to the two girls before her after then returned her greeting. Bianca asked one of the most common questions that went along in introductions around Xavier's. What can you do? It was a harmless question and Lillian found it cute that the girl hesitated in asking it seemingly unsure if it was appropriate. As she opened her mouth to reply to Bianca's question and also say something about not needing to hesitate in asking her something as Lillian was hard to offend. The trio of Alpha girls was joined by a guy who quite simply stated his name and codename. With the codename scorch most likely fire based and also explained why she could see the energy from him thanks to Cissa's ability which also seemed on the tired side to her. "Nice to meet you Rob. I'm Lillian" She said with pleasant wave. She left the continuing conversation go forward from questions from Bianca and Aurelie. When Aurelie mentioned it being nice to seem him out of the infirmary Lillian remembered seeing him there helping out when she was. Granted she was helping by using Elixir's ability for the more serious cases which left her little time to see others if they weren't the patient she was tending too. Then again in the scrubs mask and such Lillian blended in down there. Granted when using Elixir's powers her skin did take on his neato golden skin tone. Which was hidden unless they paid attention to the bit of her not covered by something. Then again that would probably also lead people unless they knew her to think she was someone else. It was all kind of funny really. Oh they were talking about prom. And if Lillian read things right for the situation. Aurelie might just be about to attempt to set Rob up with Bianca. Unless the girl herself was looking for a date. Which was entirely possible. It was an amusing scenario playing out before her. Then the tapping happened. Lillian turned to the one that tapped her on the shoulder. It turned out to be the girl with the interesting green skin. After introducing herself as Farren she proceeded to bring things back to the question of Lillian's powers. Lillian laughed genuinely when Farren mentioned her power literally drawing her to Lillian. She thought a moment to joke playing Cissa's abilities off as her own but that would just lead to complications later. "Well currently I have borrowed Narcissa the leader of the Omega's ability. Which in simple terms is absorption of ambient/celestial energy. So given your complexion and draw towards it you probably have plant based powers. So my body would probably to you feel a kin to the sun." Lillian explained to Farren and to the others around her. "As for my personal ability well if you know Rogue's power you know mine. Basically your power can be my power. And like her it is transferred through skin to skin contact. That's why I wear the gloves and generally more covering clothing." She said motioning towards her current attire. "And since we are on the subject of abilities. What is everyone one else packing in their mutant bag of tricks?" She asked curious to what their abilities are with out making theories about what they could be. Sitting here with these people some she knew to be on her new team made her think of her new once again leader Bella. She hadn't seen much of the songstress lately and hoped all was well with her friend.

R@√℮ +~+ Ѻмεgα- Conversing with the Alpha Location: Room 261 Narcissa's Dorm "Hey, Jacen" Leion chimed, recognizing he telltale sound of Jacen's suction cups "I'm not-" he started to answer when Narcissa opened the door and told them to come in. He was a bit surprised, but not entirely unhappy, to see a (mostly) nude Roland who made a snarky comment as they walked in "Clothing is optional? Well then I hope most of the Omega guys make their way up here" he replied in a (mostly) sarcastic tone as he walked over to the bed Narcissa has told them to sit on. "For colors, I'd say blue, but I'd rather not be roasted for assumed treason." In his time at the academy Leion had become less shy and reserved and more sarcastic, probably due to influences from Jacen the Omega's pun-man. "So I'll be going with red/red-violet, I'll just match my eyes to it." team colors for prom, no reason to not be prepared, something bad always seemed to happen when the students got together to relax and have fun. He looked over Roland's scarred body, it wasn't the most attractive with some of the burn scars, but Leion wasn't one to judge, entirely, on looks besides he was pretty sure non of the Omega guys would feel anything but awkwardness from his stares. Scorch Robert Mason Jr.
Alpha - Team Lounge - Location Names, powers, and prom talk. Still beats admin. - Currently The warm greetings were a welcome change to the apparently five-word vocabulary of the administrative staff here at the Academy. Not to mention the fact that his team mates actually spoke with emotion in their voices, rather than sounding like bored robots. Almost immediately the question of powers arose, though more specifically Lillian's, but Aurelie had offered Rob a different direction, mentioning the hospital wing with an air of humour. "I have to be honest, I'm glad to be out of there," he readily offered, though in an uncharacteristic bout of foresight, The pyrokinetic had the presence of mind to not mention the mall. From what he had heard down the grape vine, they had acted gallantly, averting a much more serious disaster, but that didn't mean that they had felt the same about their performance, the outcome wasn't perfect, after all.
But as fast as the mall had come to mind, it was just as quickly replaced by the prospect of the prom. It was fair to say, Rob had completely forgotten about it, and he considered the fact that he was perhaps the only person in at the Academy to have done so. "Actually," Rob began, his mind racing to formulate some clever story that was more acceptable than "I forgot." Naturally, he came up with nothing. "I might have forgotten all about the prom," he admitted quickly, the awkward smile painted across his face reflecting his emotions perfectly. To his surprise, he had fallen straight into Aurelie's trap, her devious smile revealing her intention without even needing to voice the fact that she was trying to set someone up with a date.
Rob found a moment to relax, however, when Farren appeared at Lillian's shoulder, and the conversation was again back to powers. Seriously, you'd think in a school of mutants, they'd have more interesting things to talk about. But, Rob had to admit, it was an effective icebreaker. Of course, that in no way meant he wasn't going to listen to Lillian's explanation with due interest. "As you can probably tell from my codename, I'm a pyrokinetic," he offered, taking his cue from the open question, before letting his attention drift over to the others. He knew the prom talk with Aurelie was far from over, and he would be lying if he said he wasn't curious about who she was trying to set up, but this would at least offer a short respite from being the pawn in someone else's plot.

The Omegas: Academy Library then off to Cissa's room |1357|"Are you lost in your lies? Do you tell yourself, 'I don't realize.' Your crusade's a disguise. Replaced freedom with fear, You trade money for lives. I'm aware of what you've done." ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Raine laughed as he defended himself and Felix gave a light shrug in response. As she agreed it was just a one time thing he got a small grin. "And don't you forget that." Letting the topic turn to their first meeting Felix couldn't help but notice Raine's expression getting more and more incredulous the more he gave his version of the events. Obviously his was the closest retelling to how it actually was so no matter how she denied it that was the way it had happened originally. As she refuted his retelling Felix got a look of astonishment as if he couldn't even begin to fathom it having happened another way. His mouth going agape for a few moments as she finished.
"I can't believe you would think of telling such false tales. Now let me take this moment to set the record straight...again. One you wanted me to zip you there as you admitted it which is something I would do on a date. You just admitted you wanted me to pick you up and be near me with that. I was only worried about your hair because I don't want to look across at a rat's nest." Holding up one finger he continued. "Two I took longer to order because I hadn't ate out at a Chinese place before." Holding up two fingers he cleared his throat and continued yet again. "Three you claim yours was trapped in your purse and I don't deny that. I think you trapped it in your purse specifically because you knew my wallet was easily accessed, I was hungry, and you KNEW that I could get my wallet very fast because of my ability." Holding up three fingers he moved on to his last point. "And last, but certainly not least. My memory is as accurate as ever. If you think those weren't your come hither looks I fear that you have a bigger problem. After all giving unintentional come hither looks, which totally were come hither looks trust me I have received enough to know, then you are in need of some romance badly." Holding up four fingers he ended his little speech with a smug smirk.
He hadn't failed to notice she intentionally didn't comment on him saying brownies were delicious. No doubt he counted this one as a win. That she would ignore a comment probably meant she couldn't think of a reply in his book. Naturally she seemed pleased he was still planning on associating with her and called him sweet for offering to fail just to spend time with her. "Really? I thought the sweetest thing I have said to you was calling you brownie? Brownies can be very sweet after all." Naturally he wasn't willing to let that go so easy. "And I figured you would probably get all depressed without me and I would hate to hear you went the cutting route just because I didn't spend time with you."
Giving Raine a deadpan look as he mulled over her response Felix rubbed his chin. "Really and truly? Because I seem to recall you saying some very ridiculous things without getting all rosy in the cheeks. Yet when I mentioned something charming you always get a pink hue in your cheeks. Clearly you are wrong." Aren seemed to be pleasant enough company and seemed willing to not be serious therefore Felix didn't mind him. As Aren agreed it had been a tough month Felix sighed and nodded with a serious expression on his face. "I'll say. If I have to sit back and relax for one more moment I do think I will die of relief." He could certainly get used to being able to sit back and relax again after the last mission. Aren feigned shock as he checked himself over voicing that he hoped people didn't think him deformed as his physique would be wasted.
Felix felt around on his abs as if counting the muscles and nodded in agreement. "Agreed everyone not being able to enjoy my physique should be a crime. My uniform should permanently be shirtless. I will have to bring that up to Narcissa. I would say nude, but it would be a shame if I defeated the villains with sexiness before we even fought." Tapping his chin as if in thought he looked to Raine wondering why she was being so quiet. After the prom invitation was out of the topic turned to finding him a date. Raine mentioned that it seemed all the other girls being attractive and Felix grinned. "I suppose." Aren took his challenge well and reaffirmed Bella being off limits or Cissa would maim his naughty parts. Though what the nickname Aren used meant was unknown and therefore made Felix curious.
"Yes I would rather keep my member from getting dismembered..." Hearing Aren's suggestions Felix mulled over each one in his head trying to decide exactly which girl he should ask. Aren named off quite a few before ending with two of their own team members and mentioning those would have been his pick out of the choices. Felix nodded faintly finding the notion of Cissa not bringing her wrath down upon him to be preferable. Aren then offered up having Raine ask around to see which girls had dates to which she quickly agreed. As she finished speaking Felix grinned. "Of course you want to see me in a suit. Yes go ahead and fish around if you don't mind and I will make my choice out of those left." Letting his two companions devolve into prom talk Felix barely listened still thinking things over until he heard Cissa's broadcast to the Omegas. Yeah he definitely needed a suit.
Turning to the two people he was with he decided to bow out of the conversation and go get ready to be checked over. Making the team leader wait didn't seem to be the best choice to remain unmarred. "Well I am going to go to Narcissa's dorm then. I need a tux as obviously I don't have one. I will let you two get into your little prom talk. Talk to you later." With that Felix got up and after gathering his book left the library without a second thought.
------------------
Having dropped off the book at his room first Felix arrived at Cissa's dorm after the door had been left open. Seeing the people already in the room Felix walked inside without a word observing for a few moments. Looking to Leion and Jacen Felix gave a small wave. "Felix it's a pleasure." Turning to look at Narcissa he cleared his throat. "So Narcissa should I go ahead and get shirtless or is this a private party?" Eyebrow raised slightly another thought occurred to him. A joke that he had said with Raine about asking Cissa to the prom. Currently it seemed like a valid choice. None of the others seemed brave enough to do so. Felix knew it wasn't because she wasn't attractive.
"Oh and after talking with Aren I have decided my uniform needs to be shirtless." Then deciding there was no reason to not just come out and ask the question he had Felix spoke up again. "Also seeing as how I am dateless. I feel it is my duty to see if you would like to be my date to prom? I mean you are undeniably beautiful I am undeniably handsome. It would be a shame if either of us showed up to prom without eye candy on our arms." Felix seemed to be ignoring the other guys present in the room and obviously he had no problem with confidence. It wasn't like he was putting her on the spot or anything. Cissa wouldn't have a problem denying him outright no matter how many people were present if she didn't want to go with him. If she did say no well then he would just have to look for another date. If she said yes he had his date and no further searching was necessary. Obviously Felix was hoping Cissa said yes.

Aʆєxaηdra Ӎaʀiʆèηє AgηèȿCodename: Flairer My hearts longs for the ability to socialize! ❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ ✶✵✴❄❅❆❇❈❉❊❋❖❤❥❦❧ ☀ As she sat there, eating her lunch, Alex allowed her hearing to slowly enhance itself. While it was nosy to listen in on others conversations, it was the perfect time to test out her ability. But mainly, it helped her to practice trying to focus on certain sounds. In this case, Alex found herself trying to pick a voice that she planned to focus on. However, most of the conversations were uninteresting, their focus being on prom or things that did not intrigue Alex. Also, the sensory adaptor tried to avoid listening in on conversation that sounded too personal. After all, she was only practicing her ability, not trying to find dirt on everyone around her. While the French girl could use her enhanced to do such a thing, Alex did not want that biting her in the butt in the near future. Thus, Alex kept shifting through the sounds. The more time passed in her search to try and find something interesting, the more her head started to pound. However, finally, the French girl found herself wanting to focus on this person’s voice, it unknowingly being the man(Roland) she saw with Narcissa.
The thing that caused her to focus on him was not his voice. In fact, she found herself not caring too much for it. As she took a bite of her salad, Alex found herself listening to him because of his use of French. At first, she wondered if she had heard from correctly. Surely he couldn’t have just used the French metaphor for that….right? However, there was no way to deny what the man(Roland) had said. However, the realization of that caused her cheeks to flame up. She felt lucky that her blonde-white hair covered her cheeks as she looked down at her salad. How…how embarrassing for him to say that in public! Does he not know what he just said in French? But, while Alex never truly understood why people used two languages in one sentence, she could somewhat understood why the man(Roland) had used another language to hide such…embarrassing words! Though, the sensory adaptor wished the man(Roland) hadn’t used her native tongue…that only made it more embarrassing! Due to her flustered state though, she did not want to hear anymore.
Thus, she allowed her hearing to go back to normal, allowing her to miss the next statement the man(Roland) made. This caused Alex not to hear the rest of the conversation between him and Narcissa. Once the heat had left her face though, her blue green eyes dared to look in their direction. However, by the time she looked, they were already heading out the door. Admittedly, after what had just happened, Alex was a bit glad for that. Though, then again, now with her hearing back to normal, Alex could only hear conversation within a few feet of her. But speaking of nearby conversation though…the French girl could somewhat hear the conversation between the red haired girl(Daylia) and the possibly popular male(Dimitri). She couldn’t hear every word of course. Not with her hearing back to the normal level of hearing most people had. But, the sensory adaptor could pick on the basics of the conversation being held between the two.
It seemed the two of them were talking about prom in general. From what to wear, to what their plans were going to be that night. It sounded similar to all the other chatter she had heard when she had come down to the cafeteria with Lillian. At thinking about her roommate, her mind still wondered where her roommate had gone off to. If it wasn’t for the fact she was hungry, Alex would have been tempted to try and see if she had gone back to their room. And if her departure had to do with the sensory adaptor doing something offensive, then Alex would apologize the next time she saw her. However, her stomach still felt a bit empty, her mind having caused her to barely dig into her salad. I need to focus on eating. Besides, I will find out later what happened. After all, we do share the same room. Thus, Alex gripped her fork once more, digging it into a piece of lettuce before placing it in her mouth.
As she went back to eating, Alex heard someone talking behind her. She blinked slightly at the new voice, considering there had only been two there before. At first, the sensory adaptor did not remember who the voice belonged to. While it had felt familiar, no name had popped to mind. Eventually though, as the French girl caught the rest of the statement, Alex remembered her name was Hoshi. The girl had been the one who had offered to help her, Opaque, Allegra, and Glitter with the bomb. However, Glitter had sent Hoshi off to help Renassiance Man. She couldn’t remember the exact reason. It might have been because their group didn’t need to get any larger, or maybe it was for a completely different reason. The sensory adaptor would probably never know. But admittedly, it was not too important for her to know such a thing. At least, not when the whole incident at the mall was in the past now. It is best to let go of that anyway….After all, there is no way to change the past. No matter how much we want to.
However, Alex found herself a bit curious about Hoshi’s question. Was prom mandatory now? She was under the impression it wasn’t such an event. Then again, the sensory adaptor could never be sure. Thus, it could be possible that it had become mandatory while she wasn’t paying attention. It was a thought that caused her body to turn, facing towards the group now. Blue green eyes swept over the three of them before finding the courage to speak her probably really stupid question. “I do not believe prom is mandatory, Hoshi.” She hated appearing dumb. But sometimes, the only way to know was to ask and risk such a thing happening. Otherwise, the stupidity moment would happen later…at a much more embarrassing time. “For I believe this to be a social event…not a meeting amongst teams or anything like that…” That would be the only things I would know of that would be mandatory. Well, other than missions. “Unless that has…changed…while I have been not been paying attention?”
It was true, due to the fact Alex had been focused on catching up, she hadn’t had much time to pay attention to anything outside of homework. Thus, if any new twists had been added to prom recently, Alex hadn’t heard about it. “For my nose has been in the books…and I admit because of that…I have not given much mind to prom…until I overhead your question that is….” With this, the sensory adaptor chose to kept her mouth shut. For she knew if she had kept going, Alex would have only gone on a non-seneschal rant. Thus, all she could do was wait for an answer she hoped would not be harsh in nature. ❃❂❁❀✿✾✽✼✻✺✹✸✷ ✶✵✴❄❅❆❇❈❉❊❋❖❤❥❦❧ ☀ "We will drink our fill of Alpha Then, of golden sunshine that spills into Cafeteria Till our brains intertwine with Hoshi, red haired girl(Daylia), and possibly popular male(Dimitri)" *EDITED*
