Liliana nodded. "Beth is right in both regards. Tombz, while I have no problem honoring your request, we still need the varied and unique experiences of the leaders here with you. Especially since you have a rather nasty weakness. As for knights, I was going to next say that each leader could, if they chose, bring one of their knights to help augment their forces." Liliana was already pulling the image of the detailed map from Tombz mind since he had just looked it over. His perspective helped her to figure out a few key things. And adding that to what Amaterasu said, she might have a way to force exposing the island for them to be able to get to it.

Cain listened to what Lili said. Only one ruler from each nation should lead their armies into battle. He saw Tombz move forward, which was a bit obvious. Beth was staying behind because of her pregnancy, so Raphael will be fighting. Noctis will most likely go in and Amateratsu might join in. Cain let out a sigh as he focused his thoughts and spoke to Lili.
Lili....I'll go fight in your stead.

Why? she mentally asked Cain when he thought that. She would really prefer to go with and try out her idea but she had other ways to send her own aid if the need arose that she needed to stay behind in Ernya.

Vincent "Everything dies. Some just faster than others." Smiling politely, Vincent turned to Elizabeth. "Unfortunately for Indelca, we only have our lord Dante. No lady resides in our realm, though I am constantly wishing there was... One that could keep the man calm in times of fighting." Vincent shook his head lightly, and cleared his throat. "Anywho, what I'm saying is that only I, will be able to participate for Indelca, and perhaps my trustworthy companion of a knight Aes. I would rather have Dante stay in Indelca, in case any unwanted visitors visited during the time it will take to search." At the mention of unwanted visitors, Vincent threw a glance at Noctis, remembering his visit not too long ago. He did not linger on this fact however, and focused his eyes back on Elizabeth. "I'm sure that it'll be fine for him to stay, given these circumstances."

Cain clenched his fist.
Because....I am the Lord of Ernya. It is my duty to protect the people from all evil and to fight alongside my men in combat to protect them and their families....I want to prove that I can be that ruler. I want to be strong...like you.
Cain seemed to also have a sense of worry in his mind.
And....I don't want to lose you...

Tombz shook his head. "We don't need a damn army, lets keep things discrete. I'll be the only one representing Kishu. I'll also be representing Wormwood as well, since that is a nation under me. If we're going to go full force, we're doing it right. Who's going? Throw your hat in now or hold your peace."

Beth heard out what Vincent had to say, and nodded in agreement. "I'm sure in your case, it would be best if both knights go." She had forgotten that not all nations had a full set of Lord and Lady, which was odd because she was in that position not to long ago. She then looked at Tombz again. "That's why we're sending 2 from each nation, so we dont have to send in large armies." What he was saying seemed a bit redundant to her.

Nothing is eternal, Liliana said, reminding him of her same words after telling him Fenrir was dead back in Axiom. And being strong like me? No, do not want for the strength I possess. Not with how I received it. Become strong like yourself and you will be more than enough within yourself. When he mentioned losing her, her mind turned dark, blocking him out for a short moment before the block was gone. But in that moment, she thought of what Noctis saw in her eyes. I might already be lost, she thought to herself before her mind reemerged to his senses. Speaking up from Tombz words, Liliana said, "If you wish it to be a matter of stepping in for ourselves and those we hold alliance with, then let it be know I will stand for Ernya and Indelca to represent both." She couldn't help it. Cain worried more for losing her than Ernya had scraped a nerve.

Tombz shook his head again. "The look on Cain's face says otherwise. Hang back. If something happens to us, someone strong has to be here to handle things. No offense Cain, but I'm far more scared of her then you. She may not be a god, but she has my only other weakness at her command." he said, shaking his head as he finished. Addressing Elizabeth, he replied "Well that's good you know the plan. Who're you sending? Just him?" Tombz motioned towards Raphael.

But so far all of the Lord's and Lady's here wanted to go in and find the island themselves. Grave sighed as he heard Liliana say she would go for both Indelca and Ernya. 'If only things weren't so tricky..... this island has my interest now.... but how will this game play out?' Grave thought to himself knowing that Liliana could at least hear most of the sentence due to his mental blocks. So far this meeting was going rather badly but at least everyone here was starting to come to an agreement, which meant that Grave needed to think of a good plan of action. <~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>

Pausing for a moment, she added, "And I will be taking with me a knight and a healer so we have a way to be restored outside what little I am able to do."

))Folks, I'm terribly sorry it's taken me this long to jump into the meeting. sweatdrop I hadn't received any sort of notification until Sango PMed me yesterday night, and I've been training for my new position with Apple every weekeday. He had arrived shortly after Tombz and Noctis had entered Amaterasu's home, but he was nothing more than a shadow. A layer of darkness upon the darkness that existed in one corner of the Worren Queen's home. He had considered showing himself -manifesting into his body, for being nothing more than shadows is an alarming and overwhelming feeling- but it took only a few exchanges of words for The Anima to decide to remain hidden. Azur and he had not been Lord and Lady for long. Their rise to power was recent, and stained with the blood of wicked men. Still... if anyone present knew nothing of politics, it was Lord Valdiir. What was to be expected from the meeting? Would all go peacefully? Would the others set on each other like ravenous hounds? Perhaps... they would see him as the omen in their nightmares solely because he was one with the shadows of the world. All of Krayth's uncertainty left him in his state of limbo, and as he watched the others in silence his fears were justified. As he watched the others squabble amongst themselves Krayth found it difficult to supress the anger inside of him. Their entire world was in peril - everything they had ever held dear was promised to be destroyed, and here the Lords of Rykros fought amongst themselves like children? They did not deserve their titles... their kingdoms... their people's trust...
His growing fury was suppressed by the arrival of Amaterasu. Her presence was a salve that healed his lack of faith in the others. Her words soothed his nerves, and as the others began to toss their lots together it inspired him. It was only until the Lord of the Kishu Tundra spoke that Krayth appeared.
At first, there was nothing more than the shadows in the corner. Then there were two smoldering points of violet-orange light. A tall and slender frame blackened in the darkness, swaddled in clothing the same umber tone as its skin. When Krayth stepped from the shadows, he was not in disguise. They would all know him to be a Soul Eater, and he could only hope that those he had not met would not turn on him in suspicion or hate. He would see... for the time being he came as he was. Beyruun glistened on his hand as a sleek black gauntlet. It's misty eye watched the others with interest.
"Tombz, Lord of Kishu. I am Lord Valdiir Tal'Deraz of The Devil's Eye, and I will aid you. Too much is at stake for me to stand aside and watch our world unravel."
He did not explain himself, how he came out of the darkness, or where he had been -here, all along. He waited on the reactions of the others.

Tombz sighed. "Why do you have to be so damn difficult woman? Why can't you just comply?" Seeing the new entity, he shrugged. "Well, this guy's tossing in his hat. And don't call me Lord Tombz. I don't like that official s**t. Bugs the piss out of me." he said, ignoring the race issue here.

"Because if I complied with the first man to stand to me, I would be dead right now," Liliana said with a hint of ice in her voice. Her mind cycled through her old masters. All had been men who stood against her and tried to force her to comply to them. And all had something else in common. They were all dead. "If you view strength as stubbornness, I believe all the men here would be considered quite strong."
