Sailor Aster looked at the crystal with amazement. While she thought it was beautiful, she sensed that it was unnatural and perhaps even evil. As she watched the other Senshi attack it, she figured she should join in to. It wasn't a living thing, so diplomacy wasn't exactly an option.
Trying to remember her ability from the other night, she threw her arm out forward and shouted, "SUNFLOWER TURRET!" Before her, a small magical sunflower appeared and began to shoot sunflower seeds at the crystal at a rapid rate for ten seconds.

Sailor Flora could only smile weakly at Aster. Alright, it was pretty obvious that this senshi was new to this all, and Flora patted her on the back. It never was easy starting out, after all. "No." She said patiently. "Can you feel it? Something's in there, something's bad..."
And then the door was down and she was staring at a crystal. "Oh god no." She muttered, her hands balling into fists. Really? This was how far the Negaverse would stoop? Bringing their horrid business near children? There were people she liked here too; Lucy, Seth, Adira... Coralie! They were putting a Princess in danger! (They probably hadn't known that, but still!) "We never get a break." Flora muttered, shoulder slumping in frustration.
"That is it." The Senshi of Spring declared, and followed Juno in an attempt to destroy the Crystal with a kick. The flowery senshi... sunflower senshi, in actuality, had started attacking it too, and... damn, at least her attack was offensive. Pollen would do nothing against a Crystal and all she had to rely on was brute force. "Nice." She said to Aster appreciatively.
There were Chibi Senshi here too, oh god. There were what... three? Four? Flora had never met one, but had heard from her Princess about them. They shouldn't have been involved in this fight! She thought. Instinctively, she moved towards the Hypnos and the others by her side. "Are you all alright?"

Captain Painite was getting very tired of two things: being hit in the face, and having her vision obstructed. Perseus had now been responsible for both of these happens, and that was not going to sit well with Painite once the world stopped looking like a fun house mirror. Unfortunately, by the time those long seconds had passed she had managed to wander a bit away from the crystal and her opponent, and she growled in frustration.
It was time to get serious. More serious. She was pretty sure she had already gotten serious.
She looked around the battlefield. Senshi fighting Lieutenants, Captain Sassolite still battling the magnetic senshi, the corrupted senshi engaged in a fight. The crystal getting attacked.
Her eyes settled on Talia as the senshi attacked the crystal with fire. b***h! She charged over, javelin in hand, calling, "I think you're the one in need of help, little girl!" as she closed the distance between them. Before she reached the senshi she stopped short and used the forward momentum built up for the sudden stop to hurl her javelin at the senshi Olympic style.
Out of the corner of her eyes she saw some Chibi Senshi talking. Never one to miss an opportunity for torment, she pulled a souvenir she had been holding on to out for the kids to see. A little kitty collar of pretty fabric and lace, slightly blood stained and wrinkled.
"I think your kitty dropped this!" she called, though she remained focused on the senshi she was attacking. Of course, the kids didn't have to know how she came into possession of the item, nor did they need to know that she had tried to help the kitty who owned it. She saw another senshi nearby, and as soon as she got her javelin back she told herself she was going to go after the little flower child.

Babylon felt a little bit victorious as Zippetite turned tail and fled, even if he had gotten a nasty kick in the shins for his trouble and hadn't been allowed to keep the lightsaber. All these negaversers vanishing their weapons... made him remember he could do the same trick.
With a triumphant whoop, Babylon snatched his (still admittedly useless) glowstick out of the air and chased the lieutenant towards the crystal. The purple-haired boy was the least of his worries at this point - they were just going in the same direction.
Hearing his name, the page looked up and saw a baseball bad headed his way. He caught it moments before it nearly collided with his head. "Thanks, bro!" he yelled to Valhalla, and found his way to a place beside Ganymede.
"So, come here often?" he asked the senshi as he gave the crystal a satisfying THWACK.

The child paused when the kitty said she had to breath, "Sorry..." She whispered..." Hug-bell watched as the pair fell apart... was that really an attack? The child looked back at the Crystal when Zirconia suggested it. "There's so many people... and on one really watches for a chibi..." She said softly, which is why she'd put Barnaby in the face of the corrupted Nega. The child shifted, no one respected that they could do the same things the bigger senshi could either.
There was a small frown as she looked around for a rock and threw it towards the crystal hoping to hit it.... Before turning back to the small problem at hand. Break her bow? The child tilted her head at Sassolite, looking to Zirconia she smiled slightly before whispering into the cat's ear, "Will you help me get her bow? While the uh... page-guy, is busy keeping her distracted maybe we can steal it easy."

Maia frowned at the chaos that was going on all around her. She seemed to always be involved in huge chaotic battles that resulted and such grave injuries for many. The alien tree battle still haunted and she was severely happy to have been almost totally out of commission when the nega's came to rescue the BMC hostages, so she'd miss that one.
She snapped out of it as she was literally knocked into and quickly turned back to the crystal ready to attack it the next moment she saw an opening, even though she was very afraid of what attacking it would do. There, there was her opening and she jumped, heal pointed heal out aiming to slam into the crystal wanting to crack the thing wide open.
It was hard and it hurt, and she hardly tell if she made a dent as she had to move out of the way of other's who were attacking as well.

Ganymede struck the bat against the crystal over and over again, hardly letting up even when Babylon spoke to him. "If by 'here' you mean camp, no," he said over the loud noises made by their bats striking their target. "If by 'here' you mean in the the middle of a battle... far more often than I'd care for."
He'd been fortunate enough to avoid anything large scale for the last couple of months, but it didn't take long for all of those old feelings to settle back in -- the fear, the anger, the bitterness -- or for the adrenaline to kick up and start pumping.
"Months ago, I wouldn't have said 'you'll get used to it,' but it seems as if that's exactly what I've done, against my better judgement, so I assume you'll find your feet soon enough," he told him, giving the crystal another good whack. He wasn't trying to be purposefully encouraging. In fact, if he were to voice how he really felt, he would have told Babylon to run far, far away while he still could.

"Don't thank me. Thank Ganymede," Valhalla said with a thumbs up to Maenalus as he took a step back from the crystal to get out of the way of other people attacking it or defending it. "It was his idea," he said with a grin, glad to be around someone who knew what they were doing. He might have suggested the table thing, but he'd completely forgotten about using baseball bats — and that was his forte. Well, using the balls was his forte, but he could swing pretty well.
Speaking about Ganymede... Valhalla jumped back and out of the way as some other senshi rushed by to attack the crystal without paying any mind to them. That was fine. He supposed it was difficult to notice a pair of knights and pair of senshi ramming the only door to the shed with a picnic table, but he supposed everyone else was too focused on themselves and their own little groups to care about new people in the fray.
Okay, so he could be a bit judgmental sometimes. But he thought since, you know, they were all fighting for the same thing, they would at least have enough sense to team up. Instead there were flower inspired senshi attacking the crystal by themselves, and then another fighter with green hair. The children had wandered off to watch as another senshi and negaverse officer fought with each other. Even Painite was ignoring them, showing the others some kind of... lacy thing...
The only cat he knew was Zirconia, so he couldn't really find it in himself to care about some other cat that might be in distress at the moment. Right now, he had to keep an eye on the three others that actually bothered giving him the time of day. Well, Grus seemed okay, too. And if she wasn't being helped by Maia, he would have seen if he could help her as well.
"Careful there!" he called out to Arsinoe as he saw the male senshi pull at Carnelian, unable to shake the dark energy that seemed to be seeping out from him. Was it really possible for senshi to go bad?? And was this the result?? He definitely didn't like it.
Valhalla watched to make sure Arsinoe wasn't getting himself in too deep with fighting the other, but also keeping an eye on Babylon (as much as he hated being called a 'bro', and could probably guess which counselor he was just an hour or so ago...), Maenalus, and Ganymede... lest they get shot with sunflower seed or whatever the other flower senshi would shoot at it. Petals, maybe.
He really needed to stop thinking such bitter thoughts, though. Not that being in the middle of a battle helped at all.

The constant stream of attacks were starting to show on the crystal. It was scuffed and scratched; a chip or two had fallen off of it. Yet, even with all it had endured, the crystal still stood up right, brightly shining with all of its stolen energy. Quote: It's NEVER too late to jump in! That crystal is still holding strong. Sailor Aster is feeling groovy. Sailor Ganymede might have mixed emotions, but the adrenalin is there! Both these senshi can roll two 100s on their next roll. Lt. Zippeite might blame ‘the Force’, but he’s got a lot of energy too. Two 100 rolls for him too. (On his next roll).

Captain Painite called her javelin back to her hand, not even looking to see if she had hit Talia as she darted toward Aster. She saw Maia attacking the crystal as well.
Damn it!
She was not going to let them all just have their way with it. She threw the javelin toward Maia while she lunged to tackle Aster head on. She had to do whatever she could to get these damn senshi to stop attacking the crystal.
Damn it, damn it.
"You look like someone who needs to be properly introduced to the dirt," she said as she lunged for Aster and swung her fist. Maybe this time she could hit someone else in the face for once in this battle.

"I think I'm getting a bit of a crash course right now," grunted Babylon to Ganymede, swinging the bat at the crystal with renewed vigor. It was beginning to crack, which made the page really want to see what would happen when it finally up and exploded.
It really did not occur to Babylon to try matching super identities to secret identities - mostly because he was too focused on taking out the crystal and dodging attacks. He'd been beaned in the ear with on of Aster's sunflower seeds, and it was bleeding ******** hell," he swore, swinging the bat at the Crystal. There was entirely too much blood on his face and he didn't like it one bit. This could not possibly be healthy.
"I don't care how good the pay is," the page growled at Ganymede. "I am never working at summer camp ever again."

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Juno shouted in pain as her fists his the hard crystal, the reverberation shooting pain back through her arms. Apparently her shoes could break the roughness, but with her bare flesh ouch! She probably hurt herself more than she hurt the stupid crystal.
Babying her left hand, Juno kicked at the crystal as if trying to punish it for hurting her a moment before.

********* had honestly only been good for one more shot thanks to that random burst of energy she had received. However, having just used that blast on the crystal, she was back to where she had been when Painite had thrown her before. Since she was no longer attacking, she began to weave her way past the various ankles, as if offering her tiny spot closer to the crystal to someone else who was able to attack it.
Speaking of Painite, from the corner of her eye, she saw that the woman not only had her weapon back to normal, but now she was aiming it at another senshi she knew decently well. In an effort to assist where she could, the cat shouted to the senshi in danger "Maia, WATCH OUT!"

He stopped to take a bit of a breather for a moment, watching a piece of crystal crack off and drop to his feet. That made him feel good. Really, really good. Like they were actually getting somewhere with this thing.
He did wonder if they really wanted to be so close to the crystal once it was finally destroyed -- it wasn't going to blow up in their faces, was it? Because he didn't think that sounded all too pleasant -- but he couldn't just stop now, not when there was actual progress being made. He would very much like this done and over with so that these people would go away and he could maybe go back to what had started out as a very nice evening.
He felt invigorated, and he wasn't sure why -- whether it was because he was so close to the crystal and its supply of energy, or whether it was because something that usually seemed to wrong and unfair to him was finally going right for once. Either way, he felt better about this battle than he had all the others he'd had the misfortune of taking part in, like he could actually be confident about something. Like he could actually have hope.
"You and me both," Ganymede said to Babylon, rearing back with his bat and then swinging it forward to put his extra burst of energy to good use, aiming for a developing crack within the crystal.
((Edit: Wow... 54 out of 200. For shame.))
