Sebastian took the picture from Valik's hand and studied the woman. "Selia got attacked by guards. I got revenge." he shrugged as if it was nothing. He was too focused on this photograph. "I've seen Boothe staring at this picture on occasions. But I don't know who this is." he said. He looked closer at the photo, seeing the tattoo of Scarilive. "She's from Scarilive, though." he added. He handed the picture to Selia. "All I know is Boothe loves that picture. Takes fragile care of it." he gave a strange look to Valik and Ryan. "Did you go in his safe?" he asked. Valik looked up in the sky. Sun rise is in about thirty minutes. He looked back down at Selia, hoping she would know who the woman was.

Selia stared at the picture, surprise in her eyes. "Why does Boothe have a picture of my mother?" Selia looked at Sebastian for an answer, confused. With Selia's hair stained red, she looked like a twin to the photo.
Ryan threw his hands into the air. "That's who she reminds me of!" He exclaimed, looking slightly crazy for the random outburst. "The picture reminded me of someone, but I couldn't place them. It was Selia. Look at the body figure, the smile, the eyes. Exactly the same. Only different colors!" Ryan explained. "Oh, yeah we went in his safe."

Sebastian dropped his jaw in confusion. "Uh." he tried speaking, but he couldn't think of anything to say. "I don't know why he has it. He cherishes that photograph like it's the only thing that matters." he replied. He stared at the picture as sunlight peeked through the leaves.
Valik looked up at the trees, seeing the sun peek through. He let out a roar as he changed into human form. His pants were torn and his shirt was completely gone. Valik felt his face, his hair, and looked at his hands. He looked pained. And his eyes weren't like they used to be. Now they were a gorgeous pale blue with a hint of a foggy gray.

Selia looked up at the now shadowy leaves then back to the three boys. "I think that the whole city is in chaos right now. Should we still get the horses?" Selia stood up, shaking snow off her hair and looking at Valik. "You're going to be freezing. Take this." Selia took off her tunic, dark grey in color and much too big for her, and handed it to Valik. Making fire in her palms, Selia rubbed it on her bare arms.
Ryan raised his eyebrows. "I'm going to leave that to Sebastian." Looking back at Valik, Ryan felt sympathy for him. First time is the worst. He thought, remembering his transformation and how his throat was on fire for blood.

Valik wrapped it back around Selia. "You need it more than I do." he said. "My skin is burning." he added. Sweat was dripping down his chest and forehead, making his hair stick to his smooth skin. Sebastian nodded his head towards some low lying bushes. "There's a calm stream past the bushes. You can wash off. Me and Ryan will go back to get the horses. You and Selia stay here." he said. Unsure of leaving them alone together, he put the photo in his pocket and turned back towards the castle. He waved Ryan to follow.

Selia let it fall to the ground, raising her fiery palms. "It's not like I need it either." She laughed, and nodded to Sebastian. "Thanks." Selia whispered, hugging him from behind.
Ryan pulled Valik over while Selia hugged Sebastian. "We may not know each other well, but I do know Sebastian has a thing for Selia. Just keep that in mind, please. No one needs more fighting right now." Turning back to Sebastian and Selia, Ryan took lead. "Let's go get us some horses."

Sebastian accepted Selia's embrace, holding her wrists. Reluctantly, he let go and lead Ryan out of the woods.
Valik sighed. Once Ryan and Sebastian passed a few trees, he turned to Selia and smiled. "Come on!" he began to unzip his pants as he jumped over the bushes and ran towards the peaceful stream. He pulled down his pants, not in his blue boxers, and took off his socks. Valik looked behind him and motioned her forward. "Come on!" he repeated. He jumped into the stream.

Ryan looked at Sebastian. "So how many horses are we getting? I know Boothe needs his own with his leg and stuff, so that's one. Selia would share, or even walk if she had to." Ryan babbled as he walked on.
Selia sighed when Sebastian left, and followed Valik to the stream. "Isn't it cold?" Selia stood by the edge, staring at the crystal clear water and seeing her reflection. She looked away, not wanting to remember her mother or sisters.

Sebastian shrugged as he trudged up the steep hill. "I can walk. One for Boothe. One for Selia. One for you." he paused for a moment. "Do you think Valik could turn? I mean, on his own?" he asked. It would just save the two time and danger.
Valik's head popped up from the water. His black hair looked shiny because of the water. "It feels pretty great." he replied. He frowned for a moment, seeing Selia look away. Being his spontaneous self, he took hold of Selia's wrist and pulled her into the stream, making a big splash. He released her wrist as she fell into the water. He laughed.

Ryan shrugged. "Beats me. It would be convenient though. Having the extra senses and power, especially if we ended up with those neko's again." Ryan stopped to see the smoking buildings or Scarilive. "Selia wasn't kidding when she said this place was going to be in chaos. People ran through the streets, screaming with fear and glee. No ruler to command them, but no ruler to hold them back or punish them. Some bodies lay on the streets motionless, some people just falling over from all the commotion. "This is crazy."
Selia screamed as she fell into the water. Surfacing, a mischievous smile spread across her face. Splashing Valik, Selia went under and swam back to the other side of the stream. She wiped red water from her face, her hair almost blonde again. Selia laughed."Not so fun when it's unexpected is it?" .

Sebastian stared, awe struck. "It's gotten worse in just this short amount of time." he said. With a sigh, he headed to the stables that were somehow untouched by the flames. There were kicks at the stable doors from the horses. "How are we supposed to calm them down?" he huffed.
Valik stumbled back in attempt to block the splash. "I think revenge is fun." he smiled and laughed as he rubbed water out of his eyes. He blinked hard then focused back on Selia. "Your hair is almost back to normal." he smirked.

Ryan just jumped over the stall wall. "One sec." He called, and Ryan touched the horses neck. It immediately calmed. Hoping to the next two stalls, he did the same. "Only three right?" Ryan called to Sebastian.
Selia smiled. "Good. I look better blonde anyway." She smirked and dipped her hair into the water, floating on her back. "You're right. Revenge is fun." Selia said, standing back up and walking back over to Valik. Her hair shined gold in the sunlight, all traces of red gone, and her crystal blue eyes sparkled. It was like the water brought a new energy to her, making Selia feel like she was a little kid again, with no cares in the world. 'Except Sebastian of course..' She thought, smiling widely.

Sebastian raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, just three." he replied. Walking over to the stalls, he slowly opened the stall door that held a black horse. "This beauty is mine." he smiled. The horse immediately grew a liking to Sebastian and followed him out of the stall. There were already reins on the horses. "It's like they were waiting for us." he laughed a bit.
Valik smiled. He stood frozen for a moment as he approached her."Forgive me for saying this." he started, "You're breath taking." He held her gaze. He gulped hard, surprised by how nervous he now was. Valik looked away in embarrassment. He ran his hands on the surface of the water.

Ryan pulled out a chessunt horse and a tawny after that. "They're in great shape. Boothe can have the tawny. It's a stronger build." Ryan jumped on the other horse, and started trotting out of the stables. "Well, I think Selia and Valik have had enough time to play in some water. Let's get going."
Selia blushed and looked down. "Um... Thank you?" Her hands ran across the water, and Selia glanced up at Valik. "And there's nothing to forgive you for." She smiled, and looked back down.

Sebastian nodded as he mounted his horse. He said spoke in elven to the horse, telling it to go. The horse did as it was told and trotted along side of Ryan.
Valik let his hands sink beneath the surface. He looked up with a shy smile and a blushing face. They sat in silence as Valik smiled at her. He stood up to where the water was at his waist.
