Lena
After reading her assignment for the lesson, Lena picked up a magazine and searched it for a muggle work outfit. She chose one, a muggle doctor's outfit, and decided to compare it to a wizard healer's outfit. She then began to write her essay. A while later, when she was done, she gave her essay to the teacher, and when the class ended, she got her stuff and left the classroom.
The comparison between wizard and muggle work clothes
Muggles and wizards work clothes are very different from one another and can vary depending on the type of job one has. This essay with compare a wizard healer’s work clothes to a muggle doctor’s work clothes.
Those two job are basically the same, to heal injured or people who have needs. The only difference is that one is a muggles job, where they use tools and medications, and the other is for wizards, where they use spells and potions.
When at work, a wizard healer wears green robes and a muggle doctor wears a white coat.
A very noticeable difference is the colour, lime green for the healer and clean white for a doctor. Another would be the length, for a healer wears robe and this kind of clothing usually goes to the heels of a wizard, whereas a doctor’s coats is usually knee length. Another difference is the bagginess of the two coats, for a doctor’s coat is a bit less baggy then a healer’s robes, which is made of a lot more material and hangs more then a doctor’s coat. Plus, a doctor’s coat is rather plain, but a healer’s robes has a sign of a bone and a wand crossed on it.
Furthermore, a doctor is usually always seen with a stethoscope in hand or around his neck, a tool used to check a patient's heartbeat. But, on the other hand, a wizard would simply carry his wand, for they would not need tools such as the stethoscope. They usually use a variety of spells and potions to attend to different needs.
The outfits for these two jobs have a few differences along with a few similarities.
Fourth Year Gryffindor (I hope it's ok that I used a doctor's outfit instead of a suit. I found it was a good idea to compare it to the outfit of the wizard version of the same job.)

Taking a full finger of chalk out of its slightly moldy box, Catalina began to write the instructions for the last lesson on the chalkboard. Quote: This lesson is designed to allow you to explore something you find interesting about the muggle world and share it with the class. You may use any and all sources that you have used before in class. Remember, you must stay with in your curriculum area for your year. If you are not sure what this is, see this first page. You will be teaching the class what you have discovered the first week of June. If you find you are stuck, I am always available to help. (@Sparrow: That's fine! I know everyone's busy this time of the year. I just figured Catalina's a bit self-absorbed and more likely to get upset @Lena: It's fine! I always try to give you guys freedom on these things. It's supposed to be fun!)

Gryffindor Prefect Sparrow----Gryffindor ----3rdyear Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain And Seeker
Sparrow entered the classroom. She felt terrible for not doing the last assignment. She hoped the Professor wouldn't strike her down too much. She has just had so much on her mind lately. She looked at the new lesson and grabbed some books to look for some topics.
((Grr Why did I have to get stuck with science!!! My least favorite subject haha))

Blaine looked at the chalkboard as she walked in. "Of course I get stuck with history stuff. My least favorite subject . . ." she muttered as she sat down. She wondered what she would write about. She started scribbling on a piece of parchment as she thought. ((So, it'd be like something we found interesting in the past for the first years, right?))

"So we write about something that we found interesting in the past," Blaine muttered. "What the he--uh, heck am I supposed to write about?" She suddenly raised her hand. "Wait, are we gonna share this with the class? Like, read it out loud or something?" Blaine asked the professor. She didn't do well speaking in front of people, especially something she had done that probably wasn't very good.((I don't hate history, I just dislike it. But Blaine's an eleven year old girl, so she's bound to hate it.))

Amelia’s Assignment 2 The Greeks are characterized by their creation of a democracy, where all free men had an equal vote. Likewise, the Romans are known for their republics: elected officials rule chosen by the population. However there were three other forms of government, designated by Aristotle. Of these types, the Ministry of Magic has actually combined two of them. The first is the Roman’s republic, and the other is an oligarchy. The Senate, led by the Ministry of Magic, is elected to represent the British’s wizarding world. Instead of being a true republic: a house elected by all citizens, it is merely elected by the wealthy old wizarding families. Candidates for the Senate are also limited to the rich, thus creating an oligarchy, which is a government ruled by a group of rich nobles.

Amelia's Assignment 3 The Middle Ages were a step back in progress for the Muggles. The Greeks and Romans had built great empires, but after they fell, most of the knowledge they’d learned was lost. During the Middle Ages, technology was poor. The peasants, also called serfs, were in essence slaves for the Nobles given land by the Kings for their loyalty.
The lack of knowledge and understanding was increased by the Catholic Church. During the Middle Ages, it was the only Christian denomination and the only religion recognized in Europe. Their message was that if you followed their rules, you would receive a better life when you die. For many their living time was terrible, and they clung to the feeble hope that when they died they’d reach heaven. Knowledge was held by the Church only. The Bible was in Latin, and only readable from the clergy. The Church decided which parts of literature survived. This was another way they controlled the population.
The Bubonic Plague, also known as the Black Death killed between 30-60% of the population. This horrific disease acted quickly, and few survived. No one knew what caused the plague at the time, so cursed magic was blamed for this. Many witches were burned at the stake for their crimes against society. However, witches and wizards were susceptible to the plague was well. Though their skills in healing were by far more powerful than the Muggles, many died from it nonetheless. This, combined with the witch hunts, dwindled the wizarding population. The fear of witches and wizards stayed strong for many centuries to come. Only in this current and the end of the last century did witches start to be portrayed in a better light.

Amelia’s Assignment 4 Dearest Diary, There’s talk of Hannah being a witch. The poor girl lost her son at birth and now they plan to blame her for it. I know that it is due to her husband’s displeasure. It’s frightening: that their fear is so strong they will burn their own kind. I must do something to held Hannah. But what? We couldn’t leave the town, no one travels anymore. No town would let us in, for fear of us carrying the plague. But if we stay here she’ll surely burn. Perhaps…if I expose myself, take credit for the death of her child, they will forget about her charges and go after me. I wouldn’t let myself get caught, I can survive much better than Hannah could in the forests. Still, there is the chance that I might have to sacrifice myself. I am young in my years, barely old enough to marry. Could I give my life for her? I am scared, diary. Very scared. I don’t want to give up my life with my betrothed, Samuel. But I know Hannah doesn’t want to die either. There must be another way! Aha! There is. A memory charm. I’ve never done it before, but I should be able to manage it tonight at the town meeting. It’s worth trying. Pray for me diary. Pray that it works.

Amelia's Assignment 5 Like all intellectuals at the time of the Renaissance, wizards relished the journey the information of the classics and their mind would take them. They became a wide variety of occupations, each one strong in learning. Sadly though, during the renewal, Christianity held strong. Therefore the fear of witches was still strong. Still, they intertwined their lives with Muggles, in an effort to learn and share knowledge.
