Though startled by the sudden attack, Vanya regained his senses quickly and snarled. Twisting roughly, he threw one of the men off, bit another, and twisted two legs. Grappling for another few minutes, he eventually cleared himself of the group and growled loudly. Once free of their bruising grip, he reached back with both hands, drawing twin blades from under his shirt. The men, faced with the razor sharp blades, paused, uncertain, while Vanya growled, ears lying flat on his head and tail lashing furiously behind him.
"Let. Her. Go." He snarled, flashing elongated canines. His eyes gleamed amber, the pupils slitted slightly as he pointed one sword at the two holding Usagi, the other aimed at the four behind him. When they made no move to obey, he snarled again. "Lest you lose your head..."

The men knew now that it was unwise to mess with this one. He had a sword and they had little more with them than a broken beer bottle. The tavern had fallen silent watching to see what would happen.The men moved slowly looking disgustedly at Vanya. The two let usagi go and she jumped up towards Vanya holding her arm and wincing at how sore it was now. "Can we go now" she said softly

Slipping one sword back into it's spot, Vanya wrapped an arm around her keeping the other sword out while he led the way out of the bar. Relaxing once they were a block away, he replaced the second blade and hugged her. "Are you OK? They didn't hurt you did they?" He asked worriedly. "Cause if they did, I'll hurt them..." He added in his mind, though unknowingly snarling it in a low murmur.

He nods "oh don't worry its just a field out side of town" as we arrive at a grassy field with a few large rocks scattered in various places "I think this will do" he slowly draws his sword the bright silverish glimmer of its blade almost seems to generate light of its own as the final bit leaves the sheath it hums he takes a stance legs close together with right foot in front of the left with the left foot heel slightly raised from the ground "alright are you ready?"

In the form of: Sarah Mae surveyed her surroundings. She had to admit, she had quite the advantage, here. This guy knew nothing about her. But hse knew that he was a mage, and that his sword was... different. Surly she had the upper hand. But she had to keep it that way. Keep him guessing.
She was so lost in her thoughts that it didn't register right away what he had said. But she quickly snapped back into reatlity. She surveyed the feild, taking note of the rocks. She took a few steps back, pulling out her two swords and giving them quick swings. Sheh ad to get her mind back into fighting, since she so often fought in her shifted forms. Her eyes glanced up at the sky. No trees or anythign to take cover in if she went into bird form, she noted. Her eyes went back down to him. "I was born ready." She smirked. "Make your move." A grin spreads across his face "good" as he says this he calmly starts walking toward you grinning the whole time he then falls forward to a steep angle his body shimmers and fades out of sight seconds after you where a playful whistle from behind as a swords blade comes slicing though the air toward you from above then horizontally.

In the form of: It was a bit aggrivating, how cocky and sure this guy was. It made Sarah want to just tear him to shreds. But she had to keep a level head, even as he dissapeared. Instead of satnding there wondering where he had went, she moved. But she wasn't quite quick enough to escap all three blows. The tip of his blade caught her, getting in a horizontal cut, though not all that deep. Sarah jumped on top of one of the large rocks, turning to face him, her swords poised. "Don't you smile and grin until you know just who you're dealing with." Sarah said, keeping her chin high, her eyes on him. Sarah Mae Beverly

He keeps the smile as his eyes peer deeply within you its almost as if it the smile is frozen to his face Its been forever sents he came across anyone who stood much of a change agents him. "Well why not show me who I'm dealing with after all this is a anything gos mach feel free to show off a little." His hand becomes inflamed as he quickly waves his hand outward sending four bolts of fire flying toward you then snapping his finger witch sends lightning down from the sky's above.

In the form of: Sarah's eyes flashed. "You asked for it." She said. One servey of the situation told her what was probably the best plan. She jumped backwards, off of the rock. She transformed quickly, into her raven form. She backstroked away form like lightning, and up away from the fire. She let out a shriek, raising up into the sky. She didn't fly in a straight line, though. Curves, ups and downs. Until studdenly, she was diving at him, claws and beak extended and ready. Sarah Mae Beverly

his eye brown raised with a chuckle "oh a shape shifter I see very nice" snapping his fingers sending down another bolt of lightning from behind as you make your way down.

Usagi was silent as she was led to where ever they were going. Her face was blushed because of the way he was protecting her with his arm around her. He finally let go and asked if she was okay. She nodded rubbing her arm."yeah I'm fine just a sore arm"

Muttering darkly for a few seconds, Vanya glared back the way they had come, tail lashing furiously behind him. After a moment, he calmed and sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "We were going to your hiding spot?" He finally asked, tilting his head.

In the form of: "Nice isn't quite the world I would use to describe me." She said. She put on a burst of speeda s the lignintg came for her, before dropping behind him, using him like a human sheild. She also put one blade in front of his chest, like a gate. She was actually quite curious about what he would do. He could probably absorb his own magic so the lightining probably wouldn't hurt him, but at least she wan't taking it. Sarah Mae Beverly

he looks down and grabs the blade as he takes the full force of his lightning and redirecting much of the shock out his left arm witch singes the ground while sending a minor part of it though your blade sending it surging though your arm the metal of the blade becomes hot and slowly melts it giving some burns to his hand afterward he dose a quick jab to your side with his elbow and pushes you back.
