Raiu leaned closer and gave Rain a soft kiss on her lips. He retreated to watch the reaction on her face.

"I guess I am..."

With that, Raiu inched closer to Rain and leaned back. Shinx, who was sleeping, seemed to grow a smile on its face, as if it were having a good dream.

This school year was already off to a good start.

nitori ordered onix to smash the bolders as it did nitori talked to her self this school is only filled with a bunch of lovesick weaklings! i pitty those idiots who let there emotions get in the way of victory!nitori said as onix crushed huge bolders and sense tons of rocks flying

Rain smiled dangerously to herself, wanting so badly to just laugh. It was so easy for her. Guys who actually got close enough to fall for her were the best to play with. They'd fall for anything and as long as you let them kiss you, they'd stay glued to your side like a Remoraid to a Mantine. It was inevitable, and this one was proving that.

However...something about this one brought back memories of a previous relationship she'd had...one that had ended abruptly and recently. She shook her head gently, trying to get his indigo hair and warm smile out of her head. Now was not the time to think about that.

"So how old are you, kid? Ten?"

"Not exactly. You actually look like you're around sixteen I guess, but you come across as too young to seriously think about making something of yourself. Kinda like a certain twerp I used to know."

The memories kept flooding her mind as she continued talking to this boy. What was his name? Had he even told her? He probably had, but she didn't pay attention or something. She tends to not care when guys introduce themselves because she's gotten so used to it. Not something she likes.

Rain looked at the boy beside her, noticing how happy and peaceful he seemed, and felt an overwhelming sense of nostalgia sweep over her like a powerful wave. He probably thought that there was something on between them now. For some reason, that made her smile like crazy, for all the wrong reasons.

~Flandre Scarlet~

Flandre looked up to see someone talking to her. It was Nitori, the person the almost crushed her earlier with an Onix.
But, Flandre wasn't someone to hold a grudge over something silly like that. "Oh...hello..." she said, "Thanks for the kind compliment!
I really take pride in my Arcanine and I love him so much!" she exclaimed as she hugged her Arcanine's mane with love and care.
The Arcanine leaned his head against her to show that he was accepting the hug, and was 'hugging' back.
For some reason, talking about her Arcanine eased Flandre's stress when it came to people talking to her.
"That's a nice Onix you have there." she said while looking up at the girl with a smile and an innocent expression.

"Oh? Me? My name is Flandre Scarlet. Nice to meet you!" she smiled brightly to Nitori.
"So, what's your name?" she asked the other girl while petting her Arcanine under the shady tree.

Raiu suddenly remembered why he came here. It brought pain to him... He was absolutely torn by the decision he had to make.

"I guess I haven't told you the reason why I came to this place... I'm from the Unova region. There's an evil group in my region called Team Plasma. But yet, they're not so evil. Their ultimate goal is to separate Pokemon and humans to prevent Pokemon from suffering at the hands of evil humans. I couldn't agree more with the fact that Pokemon are being used very selfishly. But to separate human and Pokemon? I couldn't imagine life without Pokemon. Pokemon helped my family move from the Hoenn region to Unova long before I was born. Pokemon are our partners and friends. And I have no idea what side I'm taking. So before I decide, I need to know as much as I can about Pokemon."

Raiu stared intently at his sleeping Shinx. It would someday become stronger, strong enough to protect Raiu from the outside world. Raiu turned his attention to Rain's Absol, who was playing with a long-haired students Shiny Absol. He looked over at the beach. A young girl and her Arcanine seemed to be making friends with the girl he battled earlier who had an Onix. It tore him into two sides: one or another. Black or white.
