"This plant here needs to be mulched. Just.... crunch it a bit," Velika told Sonja, pushing one of the herbs toward her. Another leaf she nudged toward Aydan. "Suck on that, with it under your tongue."

"Like this?" Sonja said stepping gingerly on the plant, not knowing what she was really doing or wanting to over do it.
Aydan obediently took up the leave and did as Velika instructed, almost immediately feeling some sense of relief.

Sonja offered a small smile before returning to her task, nudging the mushed plant to Velika once it stopped actually crunching under her hooves.
"About as well as can be expected," he managed trying to balance the leaf under his tongue as he talked. "All things considered."

Velika nodded. "Good." She took the mush and mixed it in with another herb before carefully removing the leaves around his wound. She then carefully spread the paste on the wound. "This will help with any infections."

"That would be good," Aydan managed. "How long before I'm able to use the leg again?" he looked around cautiously. "And how long before we're able to move? I'd feel better resting and recovering in an area with more soquili."
"Moving right now might just do more damage to you," Sonja said pacing restlessly. "But I'll go look around. I didn't see anyone when I gathered the medicine, but I'll do a second pass over to make sure. I mean," she added. "If you guys don't need me...and you think it's a good idea..."

"That's a great idea, Sonja," Velika nodded. "As for moving, as long as you don't put too much pressure on your leg, you should be able to fly short distances in about half an hour."

"Be careful," she finished. "Yeah, I got that. Be back soon!" she called leaping into the air.

"I just worry, she has a unique talent for finding trouble," he explained tentatively stretching the leg. "Although she's certainly taking this hard."
Sonja flew low over the surrounding area, trying to spot any sign of activity or other Soquili. "Might be smart if I could figure out a good way out of here..." she muttered to herself.

"Why do you think I'm always so concerned for her," he commented quietly. "I'm sure she'll be back to finding trouble soon enough," he said resignedly. "Only question is if I'll be able to keep up with her."
"Hold on a second..." Sonja's eyes narrowed as she spotted what she thought was movement out of the corner of her eye. "Better check it out!" she adjusted her wings and went soaring down after the shifting spot.

"Are you kidding?" he gave her a long look. "We're lucky to have you. I mean, look at me, I'd be a mess right now if it weren't for you. Well...more of a mess than I currently am..."
"Aydan!" Sonja squealed coming in for a rapid landing beside her friends. "Look what I found! Can I keep it? Can I keep it!" she pranced excitedly over a small black and red pile of fur.

Velika blinked and tried not to giggle at the excited Sonja. Apparently she had forgotten what she'd gone to do. "What is it?" the blue mare asked curiously.
