Currently: Remembering and trying to reconnect with Vasilissa.
Herd: Yálie is a member of Evermore. She holds the rank of scout,
along with Esmerelda, however Vasilissa is hoping she will eventually take
on the role she held so long ago - the role of Adviser.
Familiar: Esmerelda was given to Yálie when she
was a child by her adoptive mother. They have been together ever since,
sharing a special bond as if they were siblings. Esmerelda helps with Yálie's
research, traveling to nearby villages to bring back books and records, or
pieces of information she hears in passing.
Personality: As a child, Yálie was very curious, always wanting to
know everything she possibly could. Questions were her main form of
communication, it would seem, as she asked more often than not. She kept
her nose in books, records, anything that could give her more knowledge.
When that ran out, she traveled to huts in her village and asked every member she could.
Because of this, she made a great listener. Most people would come to her
to tell her of their problems, hoping there would be an answer inside that
wonderful mind of hers.
However, despite her quest for knowledge, Yálie often got bored of things
easily. If it was something that didn't peak her interests, she often gave up or
pushed it aside to learn another day. If someone's story was boring her, she
often tuned out and gave a generic answer. While she had practiced this
long enough to not get caught during the act, she often got caught out after
when she didn't' remember details of the story and ended up listening to it
out of guilt.
Yálie is humble, kind and trustworthy, despite her sometimes fleeting
attitude. She takes secrets to the grave and is always there if someone truly
needs her help. Even when she took on the role of Royal Adviser, she still
made time to see everyone who needed her help.

 Yálie grew up in the same village Vasilissa grew up
in, though she was not born into it. She was found as a basket, abandoned
in near by woods, discovered by a medicine woman when she was collecting
herbs. Raised as her daughter, but told the truth of how she came to be
hers, Yálie thought of this woman as her mother and of this village as her
birth home. She wept for her mother when she passed, as much as any
other daughter would for their mother and when the village was destroyed,
along with most of the soquili she had come to love, she mourned just as
much as any of them would have. Perhaps even more, given they had given
her a life when her biological mother could or would not.
Because she had an interest in knowledge, and spent most of her life
studying everything and anything she could get her hooves on, she was
considered the most knowledgeable member of the herd. She started off
small, learning things that could gain her more knowledge, such as crafting
skills, herbs for healing etc'. She crafted trinkets and brewed potions in
exchange for knowledge when travelers came through their land. It became
commonplace for travelers to see Yálie before anyone else. Eventually she
had quite a successful.. bazaar of sorts.
As the years went on and she got older, her wisdom grew and was noticed
by the leaders of the herd, Vasilissa's parents. They took her in as Royal
Adviser and Yálie became a trusted member of the council and a trusted
friend.
When the village was destroyed, Yálie was traveling to a near by herd,
hoping to smooth over issues that had been brewing. She returned to the
village only to find everything destroyed, no one alive around and nothing for
her there. She and Esmerelda left, without a word, never to return, but never
forgetting the life they were given there.
It was many years later when she came across Vasilissa; a thousand
images of the young filly chasing her through courtyards, laughing and
smiling always. Though she was an adult now, Yálie recognised her almost
instnatly. It took time for Vasilissa's memories of her to return, but when they
did the two girls were reunited and together once again.

 Yálie is currently helping Vanya strengthen her
herd and giving her advice on leadership.

Teepee: Yálie has a small teepee located in the lands claimed by Vasilissa.
Territory: Yálie's territory is claimed by Vasilissa and the Evermore Herd.
Travel Routes: Yálie is most likely to be found traveling these routes,
either to relax or visit herd members.
Frequented Locations: (left to right) Yálie travels to the hot springs
when she needs time away from the herd to think. The relaxation helps take
her mind off of things in a way that makes her think of solutions that one
would not normally think of.
Yálie travels to visit Erynion who is currently the only member of the herd
who has been given permission to live elsewhere.

Vasilissa An old herd mate; they were seperated during the fire
that killed Vasilissa's parents. Fate has reunited them and Yálie has resumed
the role of advisor for Vasilissa.
Herd Mates All the members of the Evermore herd. Yálie
considers them her family and would not give them up for the world. Her
loyalty is strong, her rage fierce if they are threatened.

 Current Plots
Evermore Yálie will be participating on the plots
surrounding/involving the Evermore herd.
My Duty As advisor, Yálie will also hold the task of gaining alliances
and friendships with other herds. These alliances will be finalized with a
meeting with Vasilissa, but she will be the person to make the initial
interaction. Looking for an alliance with Vasilissa? Yálie is the person to turn to.
Future Plots
Aren't I Too Busy For This? Yálie is.. courted by a stallion
who she tries to fend off, but eventually gives into and develops feelings for.
I Can Make Time For This That is, children. Spending time with them,
watching them grow, teaching them the things she knows.
