Adrastos stepped forward to examine the damage that Falixus had caused on the doors. Lifting one of his front legs he ran a long, sharp talon down the metal creating a small scratch. "This is good." He turned his head to set his red eyes on the wyvern. "If you do it again there will probably be a big enough gap for us to wrench them open so we can get in."

Bhaltair looked round at the air vent, then back to Alek, putting on hand on the back of his head, his fingers resting lightly on his short mane. "Cold? Is it cold?" The centaur hardly ever felt the cold, so he didn't think it was too bad in the facility. As they continued walking, getting further away from the room they'd broken into, he began to relax.
(ooo, Lewis, I like that XD ok, I'll use Lewis for the male form now ^^)
Lilith - now Lewis - smiled a little bit when Angela hugged herself into his chest. It seemed he was going to get something more from her afterall... until she started crying & yelling at him. The incubus moved back a little when the woman started trying to attack him, though her punches didn't hurt him at all. His face became totally impassive as he stared at her, his blue eyes unblinking. It seemed he'd made a mistake by trying to act concerned; it had just made the woman remember why she'd wanted to die. He continued to watch her until she slumped into her chair, not moving at all save for the steady rise & fall of his chest.
He waited for a couple of minutes after Angela slumped her head on the desk before approaching. Though he hadn't spent nearly as much time in male form Lewis still knew how to lure people into his grasp. Whereas Lilith let others come to her, Lewis had a much more direct approach. Gently laying his hand on the woman's back, the incubus spoke softly to her. "I'm sorry savin' you has made you so upset... I didn't realise... I couldn't just watch you die, I wouldn't be able to live with myself." Ever so slowly, he reached his other hand round to her arm, slid it from underneath her head then placed his fingertips under her chin. Applying a little bit of pressure he attempted to let her head so she'd look at him, still talking to her in a low, quiet voice. "But ya know, I don't think they'd want you to kill yourself... seems a waste of life to me..."

Falixus, despite being as proud and enormous as he was, was actually unnerved by the steely fix from the gryphon. Falixus repeated his movement, stepping back and charging at the door, this time taking to using his opposite leg. The door crumbled...or rather the center of the doors did. Where the doors joined, there was now a hole - still not big enough for Falixus to slip through, but enough to let him shove his tail in and slam it down. The hole now reached to the floor, but was still not wide enough for the pseudowyvern to fit through. Falixus growled and let his gaze settle on his newfound companion...

His calm, despite her raging grief and internal fury, satiated this woman's one desire to be cared for. In fact, it was probably the notion that the loss of her family meant that no-one would be close to her that made her so distressed from the start. With that said, Angela loved her family dearly, and yes...it was clear now that she did not truly want to die.
With a guitly look apon her face, Angela began to reel off apologies to the male, sorry for the slaps, sorry for the death attempts...sorry for everything. •°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°• To the edge of the ɛậṝȶħ, It's a brave new ẅɵṝȴɗ from the last to the ƒɨṝṩȶ {{ OOC:Hehe, I wasn't sure if it would be classed as godmoding...}}

Adrastos nodded his head at the hole pleased with how, with only two attempts, Falixus was able to cause so much damage. He walked up to the doors once more looking them up and down, there was just enough room for him to squeeze through although he'd probably lose a few feathers and gain a few cuts. The gryphon reared up onto his paws and clutched one side of the hole with his talons, digging the sharp claws into the metal as much as he could. He once more fixed Falixus with his red gaze. "Let us tear them open."

Falixus Do you know your enemy? Falixus, though usually haughty and stern, was taking great joy in taking the facility apart. He was surprised by the ease of access, but he assumed that the staff were otherwise occupied.
Falixus reached forwards and sat back on his haunches, whilst angling his body to push against the other door. The pseudwyvern grunted and pushed off with his backlegs. The force eventually shoved the door open, and it snapped off of it's hinges.
The wyvern let out a victory roar, before slinking in through the doorway. It revealed a long outdoor corridor of sorts, and at the other end - an automatic turret. Unmanned this thing was deadly, but if a guard noticed the commotion when it's motion trackers set off the alarm, it would be a definate kill.
Falixus snarled...

Whilst Falixus pushed against the other door Adrastos pulled on the other, despite him being smaller then the wyvern he was still strong. The muscles of his hind legs bunched as he walked backwards on his paws and his wings flapped to help push him backwards. a fter a moment to had opened a door.
Adrastos released the metal and set his talons on the ground, he tossed his head as he walked in behind Falixus. When he saw the automatic turret he tilted his head to the side. "That thing will attack us if we move, correct?" The gryphon was already planning what he would do to get to and remove this threat, he would use the fact that he is smaller then Falixus to get to it without being shot.

Falixus Do you know your enemy? With his jaws parted in a slight temperature reducing pant, Falixus lifted his heavy tail behind him, and slapped it down. It let out a loud boom that slightly shook the floor, and instantly the turret shuddered to life and fired off a few bullets. "Notice how it did not fire as I moved, but as I made a sound..." Falixus prised, and began to slink forwards.
But, as he entered the motion tracker's range, the turret began to rapidly shoot silver bullets. Man those could hurt. "Okay, so my theory is that outside of a certain spherical range, it it sound triggered. But inside the 3 meter radius it is also motion triggered. However, surely it cannot track the both of us..." the wyvern pondered, swinging his heavy head back to face his companion beast.

Adrastos watched as Falixus teasted what the turret would react to. "You may be right but I would not risk both us being hurt and we are too big to both get through at the same time while trying to doge bullets." The gryphon growled slightly in the back of his throat, the humans cowardly weapons infuriated him, the way they hid inside their metal vehicles and fired their guns, Adrastos could respect a human that fought close combat even if they were not that strong compared to most beasts.
He stepped forward quietly to just outside the turrets motion tracker range. "I'll charge it. I'm smaller and faster on the ground then you are so I have less chance of being hit." Adrastos crouched, tensing his muscles ready to spring forward.

Falixus Do you know your enemy? Falixus growled and shoved a paw in front of the gryphon. "I will not have the most respected creature of our lands be injured, I sacrifice myself for your life," Falixus proudly stated, lowering the front half of his body and slamming his tail in a bow.
Without warning, or a chance to stop him, Falixus charged forwards. The motion tracker activated, and Falixus began to be targeted with a spray of bullets. Not one hit as Falixus now silently leapt into the air and hovered, before angling his body downwards and swooping at the turret. The turret swung it's heavy barrel towards the wyvern, firing off several bullets into his left foreleg. The turret paused to reload as the wyvern let out a loud roar of pain.
Now fueled by pain and adrenaline, Falixus took another hovering bound towards the turret. This time, Falixus got close enough to spin behind it and confuse it by slapping his tail on the top. Falixus watched as the turret fired off to the left, sensing that the sound and movement of the tail was a little to the left and above, and then Falixus span around and began to claw and gnaw at the dome. Falixus knew he only had moments before the turret realised what was going on and fired at him, let along initiate a self destruct as a result of damage.

Adrastos growled in frustration, he was beginning to feel useless what with Falixus doing all of the work. He watched the wyvern attack the turret, annoyance shining in his red eyes. He flicked his feather tipped tail from side to side and clawed at the ground with his talons.
Before the turret could locate Falixus Adrastos loosed a loud shriek causing the turret to aim and fire at him. He nimbly dodged the bullets all the while shrieking to keep the turret trained on himself so Falixus would be able to destroy it without sustaining any more injuries.

Falixus Do you know your enemy? Falixus had to admit it - that bird was intellegent, far beyond what the wyvern gave credit for. Falixus dug a hole out of the top of the turret, and shoved his muzzle in. The saber teeth tore at the wires, and the turret began to emit a loud beeping sound, that repeated over and over.
Falixus, being rather feline, became intrigued and sat back, still on the turret, and listened to the intoxicating sound. Little did he know that after a total of 10 beeps, so 3 more, the self destruct sequence would be complete.

Adrastos shrieked again trying to cover the sound of the beeping and as a warning to the now still wyvern. He had heard these beeps before and not long after a powerful minotaur had fallen never to rise again. The gryphon charged forward intent on ramming Falixus away from the turret.

Falixus Do you know your enemy? The wyvern let out a roar of despair as he was rammed off of the turret and into a wall behind it. Now he knew! The unmistakable heat that was increasing in level from within the turret and the beeps themselves had finally alerted Falixus as to what was going to happen.
With the gryphon near him, Falixus lunged forwards, and held his body over his saviour as the turret exploded. He took the brunt of the explosion, with his back scales darkening as they burned. Falixus's body surged forwards with the force of the explosion, but he used his strong front legs to keep him still and Adrastos covered.

Adrastos squawked in protest as Falixus shielded him from the blast but knew that he would have been killed or at least seriously injured if he had taken the blast; after all scales were tougher then feathers and fur.
He subconciously dug his talons into the ground and kept his head lowered and his wings close to his body. A small growl in his throat showed his frustration at being protected although it couldn't be heard over the explosion.
