Professor? I'm Trompeur :she said shyly: Ummm, I arrived just before class ended yesterday and managed to copy down the notes for a cure to boils :she said as she handed a vile to the teacher: and finished it. I hope you will still accept it.
I was out for the first few days of the term. I had Vanishing Sickness. But's it's all taken care of :she said reasuringly to her Professor: and here is the homework you assigned aslo . . .
Polyjuice Potion
ingredients:
1. lacewing flies stewed 21 days,
2. leeches,
3. powdered bicorn horn,
4. knotgrass,
4. fluxweed picked at full moon,
5. shredded boomslang skin,
5. a bit of who one wants to turn into
Polyjuice Potion transforms the taker to assume the physical appearance of another person. The potion takes a month to brew, and must include part of the person you wish to look like. Though it is not to be used for a human to take animal form, nor for an animal or half-breed to take human form, it is possible, but the affects take longer to wear off. The one dose usually lasts its affectiveness for one hour, though doses can be renewed, even indefinitely. The process of changing to a new shape by means of the potion is described as being quite painful, while the reversion to original self is said to be painless. The potion itself take the second to final form as mud-like and bubbly. The ending state of the potion takes the "essence" of a persons' hairs [or other peice of that person] that were inserted to the potion as a final ingredient.

You can work with kagegetsuoni, Emily, Lilly, or Cookies n Cream. I'm going to give the finished people a homework assignment so my stragglers can catch up! So have no fear. biggrin "I'll partner with you Zella, and I'll let you know what has been done so far." I say as a stir my potion. ((sorry I haven't been on. I had a physics test, math test soon.))
"Oh, great!" Zella said, smiling and taking up the role of stirring. After the potion was finished, she went onto the polyjuice potion notes.
Polyjuice Potion
ingredients:

A piece of the person who is to be imitated — usually hair — is needed for the transformation. Before this final ingredient is added, Polyjuice looks like thick, dark mud that bubbles slowly. When the piece of the person to be imitated is added, however, the potion changes colour; it seems to react according to the nature of the person to be imitated, once even described as the 'essence' of the person.[1] Good-hearted people result in more attractive colours and tastes, while mean people taste the opposite. It is likely that the taste differs from potion to potion.
The effects of a single dose last for an hour, however the larger the dose the longer the effects cause the opposite effect. The Polyjuice Potion cannot be used to successfully transform into an animal or else the spell goes awry.

Ayamae Akahana kagegetsuoni ((seriously, I'm just going to finish up my potion, this is ridiculous.)) I finish up my potion and bottle it up, before cleaning my work station. I gather my belongings and walk to the front of the class to give the Professor my potion sample. "Here Professor, I hope I have better luck with partners next time." I say before walking out of the class to start on my paper. ((You're right, it was ridiculous, and I'm never doing partner work again. That was stupid on my part, I apologize.)) *checks it over* 15 points to slytherin. ^.^;; And 20 points each to Gryffindor and Slytherin for completed homework! biggrin "Thanks Professor." I say before rummaging around in my bag for my homework. ((Its fine. I have Zella now.))

Polyjuice Potion
1. 12 lacewing flies that have been stewed for 21 days
2. 1 ounce of crude Antimony
3. 4 leeches that have been "unsucculated"
4. 16 scruples of fluxweed that was picked at full moon
5. 3 drachms of pulverised Sal Ammoniac
6. Pulverised blades of knotgrass
7. 1 pinch of powdered horn of a Bicorn that has been "lunar extracted"
8. Filings and rasplings of Saltpeter, Mercury and Mars
9. Shredded dried skin of a Boomslang
10. Extract of The-Transfigured-Being-To-Be] (which means a piece of the person one wants to change into, typically hair)

Zella smiles sheepishly. "Sorry it took me so long to do the potion. I was really busy with my other classes!" Zella turned to face the teacher. "I can't wait for the next potion!" She told kagegetsuoni excitedly. "what do you think it is going to be about?"

Aludra Yvette... "It's no problem." Aludra smiled. Once the Slugs were soupy, she added in the crushed snake fangs and the three dried nettles. (Since your new and we will be moving on Ill speed this up) The solution came to a boil and Aludra stired it 24 times with a counterclockwise stir every three stirs. She took it off the fire and let it sit for a moment to cool. Aludra turned to Pussingcow and handed her the three porcupine quills. "Add these in once its cool and bring a vial up to the Professor." She handed over one of her own crystal vials with a cork stopper. ...6th Year Slytherin
